Lola - A Michael Symon Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyed our table for two and a great ambience. Ryan our waiter was great and so was our wine choice.
Only disappointment was the crème brule which was soft and when they reworked it tasted burnt. They removed it from the final bill though.
Good date night and fun evening.
We were in town for the weekend, and headed to the Q for a basketball game. Luckily we planned ahead and made a reservation at Lola, unbeknownst to us that the owner was a famous chef. Such a wonderful atmosphere, classy, yet unpretentious. Phenomenal menu and wine list. Everything was amazing. Our complements to the staff and chef. This really was the icing on the cake for our weekend away.
Great place with great ambience. Food was excellent. However the service was less than desirable. Waitress forgot not only items ordered, but once corrected, did not correct the checks. Expected better service. However it will not deter me from recommending the restaurant. Maybe she was just having a bad day.
A very good restaurant. Meal composition is interesting, and execution is spot-on. Since the meat entrees are offered essentially sans accompaniment, the list of sides could stand for a bit more breadth, but this place is we'll worth a try (and for us a return visit).
Excellent food and service. Bone marrow app was incredible. Seafood entrees (scallops, and lobster) were done perfectly. Little things like weight of silverware and keeping the table tidy are all handled here. It all comes together for a great experience. Seriously, a memorable meal.
This is one of the most perfect meals I’ve ever had in one of the most perfect restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. There was not one part of our meal that was less than an A+. Go to Cleveland, spend the day at the Rock& Roll Hall of Fame (also an A+!!) and have dinner at Lola.
I live in Seattle, but I’m already plotting a return.
My husband and I had an amazing dinner at Lola! The food was spectacular but the service is what made the experience the best. We both work in high end hospitality and were very appreciative of the attentive service and knowledgable staff. The food was delicious and very good portions, a great value for the pricing. We both got starters, mains and sides because we wanted to try as much as we could but you could easily share items if you wanted. Thank you Lola for an amazing date night! :D
Had to return to Lola before I left town, just to experiment more with the choices on their menu. I figured I had to try the Dover Sole, which, albeit pricey, was worth it. It was brought to my table and the bones removed table-side. The server did it PERFECTLY. The flavor and texture made it the perfect choice for a nice healthy dinner.
This is an excellent restaurant. The quality of food is very high from appetizers through deserts. Every course has creative alternatives. We had a couple vegetarians and the only downside was that there was only one real choice for them beyond salads. Knowing Michael Symon's love of pork several of us choice the pork chop and it was incredible, the best pork chop I have ever eaten.
Our server was knowledgable and engaging. The atmosphere was great, we had plenty of room and the noise level was moderate enough that it was easy to have a conversation. Loved it and will go back again when I am in town.
We originally had a later reservation time and when I called to see if we could get in earlier the staff was very accommodating. Our server was very helpful explaining all our questions in detail. We will definitely be back. Probably when the weather is warmer! Thank you for a wonderful experience and dinner.
