Great food and wonderful service.
Always a great place to meet with friends
Food was incredible. It was a little loud/busy in the back room with a lot of flare parties. The one waiter we had was excellent, the other was a bit rude and kept bumping into people, reaching in front of people, and overall not the best. I assume she was in training or just had a bad day. Other than that the experience was great!
Chris is the best server this is. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Amazing, professional service from our server John. he made a casual dining experience feel elevated through impeccable attention to detail and simple touches. Ravioli was tasty and the paella was nicely portioned. Great range of wines at all price points.
This is good for a neighborhood meal, or a quick bite before the theatre - it is just OK!
I have been eating here since it opened. The food is consistently good and the service is always excellent. In a city that is packed with restaurants, Logan Tavern is my go to comfy place.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Logan Tavern.
Great service, good food. Only complaint was that the cooked greens and spinach were both over-salted.
Excellent food. Particularly love the lamb burger. Back room was nice a quiet for a pre theater dinner.
I have eaten at LT literally hundreds of times. The burgers, for the fast time were overcooked and burned. I did not return them as they took too long and I did not have time. The server was surly and not attentive.
We reserved a table for Friday evening at 8:30. As soon as we arrived we were sat immediately. The two guys who waited on us worked as a team. The guy who seemed to be the lead server was Henderson. These guys were an awesome team. They made recommendations, and were both very knowledgeable of both the kitchen and the bar. Everything they recommended was great.
The food was cooked perfectly. My wife had The butternut squash and goat cheese ravioli dish. It was unbelievable. I had the pork chop, and it was cooked perfectly. The crab cake was a great choice for an appetizer. We shared the dish, and it was just enough for both of us. After our app and entree, we each had a desert. Henderson surprised my wife by choosing her’s for her. She ate the flourless brownie sundae, and it was to die for. I ate the cranberry cheesecake. It was almost as good as my wife’s....not quite though. We chased this scrumptiousnious with coffee and Logan’s Tavern’s own liqueur that is like Bailey’s, but better.
The bar was on fire that night. The drinks were coming in a timely fashion, and Logan’s Tavern has an assortment of beers and cocktails that they serve. I was drinking Black Manhattans and my wife was drinking some seasonal beer (she goes for the local stuff). Our glasses were kept full, and our moods were merry.
My only quasi complaint would be the noise level. The restaurant is wide open with hard surfaces. There’s not a lot of nooks and crannies for a couple to hide away in for some togetherness. Otherwise, no one bothered you, and everyone is used to being two inches from everyone else so people ignore you. Therefore you have privacy even without privacy.
I love this place, and its my favorite place thus far in my week here in D.C
I have eaten here many times, the food is usually better than it was this time.
Always enjoy it here!
Nothing special or particularly memorable. But I guess that is what they are selling; a neighborhood casual place.
Great Brunch menu choices and vibe at Logan Tavern. Will be returning!
lackadaisical server. burger ordered medium-well came medium -rare. server never checked in after bringing food.
Logan Tavern is a nice, friendly, neighborhood restaurant with comfort food.
We were looking for somewhere in the Logan Circle area before the Theatre. We have eaten at other restaurants in this group and been very happy so we thought we would try the Tavern for Sunday Brunch. Turned out to ba brilliant idea. Server was great, food was delicious, value was excellent. Can't wait to go back.
I took friends from out of town for brunch. Design-your-own Bloody Marys are fun! Everyone liked the food. I had the Garden Benedict, which was really good. Tables aren't crammed together. I just assumed it would be on an English muffin and it wasn't. The home fries are delicious. Service was friendly and good. I'm sure I'll be back.
Food was good, ingredients seemed fresh and plates came out in timely manner. Our server, John, was very helpful with suggestions.
We were in town for the weekend and thought the food was amazing, wait staff extremely personable, and really good drinks. At one point my second drink was accidentally given to a another table, they noticed the mistake before I even did and gave me mine free of charge.
Would highly recommend!
Service was excellent and food was served hot. Portions were generous and the prices are very reasonable. All three of our meals were perfectly cooked.
A super place to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday with brunch! Friendly, delicious, comfy, and fun menu. Our waiter John made it a great experience!
Great good with good friend
I had a team dinner here for my group at work, and everyone enjoyed it. The food was excellent all around, and the noise level was just right so we could talk to each other without shouting, but the atmosphere was still very nice. I believe this restaurant is owned by the same folks who own The Commissary, which is nearby, and another spot I often go to for work based group meals. This was my first time trying Logan's, and I prefer the noise level. The menu is a bit larger at Commissary. But both are great.
Good food, portions just right, excellent value for money. Superb service really makes this place stand out. Most efficient and courteous treatment from the moment I walked in the door.
The bibb stack salad is better than I would have imagined. The blackened salmon superb and the pumpkin cheesecake out of this world. AND the bartender really knows how to make a perfect Manhattan, per my very precise specifications. Bravo!
I hadn't been too impressed when I tried Logan Tavern about two years ago, but this visit was very good. They served a great brunch; food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. I'll be back....
I liked this restaurant and had a great server, but they did not have adequate vegan options. I read online that they did and after looking at their menu I figured I could just ask for items without cheese. Unfortunately a lot of their items are made in batch, so you cannot ask for it without cheese. None of their salads offer a vegan dressing, you can get olive oil only. I liked the ambiance, wine, and service we got at this restaurant but would never go back or recommend to another vegan until they add a vegan dish like the beyond burger or something. We ended up getting wine and a few apps and walking down the street to bus boys and poets.
Had a great meal with the family. Our waitress was wonderful and very helpful with recommendations. The food was delicious.
Great service by Sequia
And Andy the host
We did not like the first bottle of wine we ordered, so the waiter took it back and brought us a different bottle that he recommended based on our comments. In addition, I greatly appreciate the sustainability business practice of all the restaurants in the EatWell group.
This place is a nice little treat. Had a great time there this weekend!
Charles the bartender was great!
Food was excellent. Preparation and presentation was on par with the expectations. Conversation became a little strained as the noise increased when the dining room filled.
Filling all the tables on a Monday night is a good sign that your in a good restaurant! But expect a fairly noisy dining experience.
The table of twelve young mostly men next to us was so loud that it spoiled our dining experience. Not sure I would return for a Sunday lunch.
Everything was great, except the noise level was close to deafening
Great food, delicious chorizo omelette and side salad. Reasonable prices
