Great food as usual! Also, service was outstanding. Very attentive, friendly and very helpful
Love the food....
A great neighborhood treasure!
We had a group of nine and received great service from the wonderful staff. The appetizers and main dishes were delicious. The desserts seemed just so-so after the other great food. They didn't have a large vegetarian selection. What they did have was very good.
This is a great sports bar. The food was above average for this type of restaurant. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again.
Food and service were great! Shoutout to our server Trish.
I went because I heard they had great bloody marys, but it was the fried chicken eggs benedict that blew me away. It was spectacular and I can't wait to go back. The service was amazing as well.
Great meal, even better service. Enjoyed a fun meal celebrating recent college graduates. The staff took wonderful care of our group when the restaurant was full.
Always enjoy Logan Tavern. We sat at the bar and had a great time. The bartenders were helpful and attentive. When the bartender learned I was vegan, she suggested certain items that could be vegan that were marked only vegetarian. Cool spot!
Friendly staff and solid menu makes this a favorite of mine.
Great Food, Amazing service! Would return in a heartbeat!
The BEST mussels I’ve had in a while! Great white wine sauce perfect for dunking toasted bread slices. Spicy buffalo chicken salad excellent! And husband had brisket sandwich that was also very good. Waiter was Dennis , who was friendly and quick with our orders. Margaritas very tasty but tiny. What? No Patron? Would go back in a second especially for the mussels!
Just everything was great
We had a great dinner something for everyone in the party. Service was great
Our server, Cat, was awesome! The food cane out quickly and was excellent, as were the drinks. The menu was varied and we all enjoyed our meals.
I have loved this restaurant for years and left several 5-star reviews so I truly believe our visit was an anomaly. James, our server was great. The food, however, was not. The Calamari was overcooked and rubbery, the asparagus what over grilled and the crab cakes even after asking if they had a lot of iller and were told not were almost all filler and could not even taste the crab. The best was the smoked gouda polenta and Mac and Cheese. This will not stop us from going back but I hope they take this review as a do better.
The food was amazing and the Bloody Mary's definitely lived up to their reputation! Would definitely dine there again!
Enjoyable spot. Busy but good service. Food was excellent.
This was my second time going to Logan Tavern and it was great both times. Nice, varied menu with some interesting dishes (ginger calamari) and the service was very good. The atmosphere is noisy, but the food and drink make up for the noise.
As always LT never disappoints, great ambience amazing and friendly staff! Love everything about that place. And of course foooooood.... excellent every time!
Awesome experience per usual.
My husband and I wanted a nice little brunch to celebrate an anniversary (6 months - nothing crazy). We ordered a bottle of champagne to share and some great brunch food. We had a blast! Food was fantastic!!
I really enjoyed my time here. They were able to accommodate my party even though we were late to our reservation. The food was great and reasonably priced, especially for DC brunch. I didn't have any alcohol, but other members of my party did and loved the bloody mary bar and specialty brunch cocktails.
I'm bringing my wedding party here after the ceremony for brunch in June, and one of the managers Andy has been very helpful in getting a menu made and making me feel prepared for a party of 15 people. I'm very excited!
Logan Tavern has the best burger in D.C. and some great cocktails. What more could you ask?
Outstanding. A bit noisy, but I'm one of the seemingly few that's concerned about that.
Our dinners were all delicious. It felt like the kitchen has definitely upped their game to a higher level. We were all very happy with our meals. Our waiter was friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Our table was quiet & had some space around it so we didn't feel crowded. All in all, a terrific dinner out & very good value. So glad to have Logan Tavern in the neighborhood.
Our group went to the Logan Tavern for dinner before an 8:00 PM show at the nearby Studio Theater. We were seated in the dining room, which was considerably quieter than the bar on this particular Saturday evening. The service staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We shared two appetizers (Spring Toast, and a dish involving artichoke hearts), and had chicken paillard with smoked gouda polenta, blackened salmon, and southern fried chicken as out entrees. The food was terrific -- well cooked and well presented, with interesting fresh ingredients. We definitely took our time, and were in and out in 1.5 hours, in time for a leisurely stroll to the theater. Strongly recommend the Logan Tavern as a casual venue for a pre- or post- theater meal.
Pretty reasonably priced and glad they had kids options. Slower service.
Efficient, friendly service. Attentive but not overbearing. Broad menu selection and reasonable prices. One of my favorite in the Logan/Dupont area. No rush and low noise level for conversations.
Our service was excellent, she was mindful of our theater tickets, the food was delicious and you gained 4 new patrons because they had never eaten there. Our four eats there regularly because of the food, the service and the proximity to Studio. You now have EIGHT regular customers!
Terrible terrible experience for our group of 28. Our waitress was extremely rude and unaccommodating. Every request was met with a scoff, as if she were doing us a favor. Food also left something to be desired.
The waiter was great, very accommodating and helpful with special requests. The lamb was cooked right, although I would have liked a larger serving for the price. Would certainly go back again.
This was a great meal from the start. The host offered us a booth with an added chair for our party of 5, or a round table. We chose the round table so as not to be cramped. When our friends arrived, we found out one couldn't make it. On a Saturday night, we didn't want to take up a 5-top for 4 of us, but they refused to move us -"No problem. No need to interrupt your meal." The food was amazing. The grilled Caesar was amazing, as was the boneless southern fried chicken. Service was very attentive. Thanks Morgan! We were there because we were seeing a show at Studio Theatre, but we'd go back just for the food and service. Thanks!
I had the asparagus bisque soup which was delicious, followed by grilled salmon with Israeli couscous and vegetables. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and prompt. Nice casual vibe.
Pre-theatre dinner. Steak on salad was extremely tough and almost inedible. However, seared tuna was great.
Logan Tavern was just right for a Sunday meal before Studio Theater. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food exceeded expectations.
Last night visiting in DC and made a reservation for 8:15. Got seated after just a couple of minutes and the staff was very kind and attentive. The food was fantastic. Noise was a little loud but not too loud to hear conversation. I would recommend to others.
Outstanding food and cocktails. Very attentive service. Quite loud. Would definitely return. My salmon was delicious.
Our waiter was great. We had our one year old nephew with us and he was great making sure his food came out quickly. Our burgers were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Too bad we live out of town, this could be one of our favorites.
