Logan is a “go-to”for us in Logan Circle. The food is consistently good, and the service is always warm and welcoming. Over the years, we have become regulars, because we always know it will be a good dining experience. No pretense, no attitude, just a good place to be any time.

The food was abysmal; strange dark strips of what looked like organ meat in the shrimp and grits. The cappuccino tasted burnt and the drip coffee tasted like tea. No plans to go back.

This place was awesome. I took my bridemades there to offcially ask them to stand by my side on my wedding day. I made the reservation for noon initially, but called to see if I could get there 30 mins early to set up and order sangria for the table. They easily accommodated my request. When I arrive they were on top of it and my table was ready. Our server’s name was Adam and he was amazing. He was fun, attentive, and made great recommendations. He even got my girlfriend who only eats seafood something that wasn’t on the brunch menu. The rest of the staff was amazing too. This place is a well oiled machine of amazing food and exceptional customer service. I definitely recommend this place.

Food was top notch but our waitress, Erin, made the experience all the better. She is fun, engaged, and most of all, competent. Her recommendations were spot on. Fun place!

The food was delicious - well prepared and seasonal - - Food great they need to better supervise their servers. Food great but the service makes me hesitant to recommend the restaurant.

A group of our friends got together at Logan Tavern to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We came from outside the DC area and it was completely worth the trek! The staff was so accommodating and welcoming to our large party of 10. All of the food was delicious (I had the Sweet Potato Carbonara and it was AMAZING) and everyone had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion, and I plan to go back soon.

Great place: amazing food, service, and cocktails! Make sure you get a reservation though, we had one but overheard 60+ minute waits for people that didn't.

I had a very good experience overall at the restaurant. Great burgers, delicious sides, and wonderful service. The main reason I gave it four stars was because we waited twenty minutes after our reservation time to be seated.

Servers couldn’t seem to figure out who had our table, so we were left alone for long periods of time. This is great for chatting, terrible for actually eating. Plus when you ask for pickles in your mimosa, they give you one flimsy slice.

I asked for a quiet seating area for three of us. We were seated at a table next to a table of 15 and across from a table of 8. The table-for-8 was extremely/extremely noisy and the decibel level rose as we were enjoying our wine. By the time our food came, it was really horrible....but it was difficult to move tables then. Next time, I will request a change sooner in the evening! The food was great, some compensation.

For a place that gets great reviews for service we were rather disappointed. We weren't told they have a kid's menu until we tried ordering a side for our toddler. Then they brought the menu and crayons and paper. Later I saw a tray of sippy cups go by, but we didn't get one. We had busted out our own by then. They never brought utensils for the kid. The calamari was outstanding and total overkill. The fries were under salted and soggy. In general the menu is really heavy/rich. We had to ask for more water at which point they brought a carafe. We had to ask for ketchup when the burgers and fries arrived. The waitress pushed dessert, which we declined, but we didn't explicitly ask for the check so then there was a ten minute delay waiting for her to get back to us and she didn't have our check on her so another wait. I tried to get her attention and she was oblivious. If the kid is out of the high chair and all the adults say no to even seeing the dessert menu, then get the darn check ready and don't do the stupid 'I'll just put the dessert menus in front of you' song and dance. We were grimacing as our conversation was being interrupted. It wasn't crowded enough for the waits we endured. Two hours for a meal with 1 shared appetizer and burger/salad entrees when we ordered as promptly as service allowed is too long.

The manager went out of her way to make it up to us for a 20 minute delay in getting our table: a free round of drinks and appetizers for our group of 8. Service was great over all.

The roasted chicken was incredibly delicious - and the waitress recommended it. I'm so glad I got it! I think it had an adobe flavor, moist chicken, crispy skin. So good.

Went because of positive reviews on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. We started with the crispy brussel sprouts -- which were terrific with a wonderfully flavorful sauce -- and the French Toast sticks (also very good but not quite as special to my taste, although I'm not a huge French Toast fan so maybe unfair). I had the Turkey Burger which was also terrific. Service was friendly and very helpful, and the atmosphere fun and lively without being too loud. Overall would highly recommend.

Logan was a basic American restaurant and there is nothing wrong with that. Would I recommend it to my foodie friends? No. Would I recommend it to folks who are hungry and looking for a convenient place to dine that is not too expensive? Yes. Logan is spacious, the food is sort of what you expect in a diner. We were two for dinner and there was only one waiter for the entire second room which had 8 or 9 tables. Needless to say, the waiter did not have time to focus on any one table well. The appetizer, ginger calamari was spicy but dry, over cooked. The smoked pork shank was stringy but smokey. My chop salad with shrimp was lettuce, 4 medium size shrimp and a few slices of avocado and half a boiled egg served on a breakfast plate. In sum, it was a mediocre meal.

My friends and I went for their Dining with the Dogs night, in support of City Dogs Rescue and City Kittens. Cesar, a friendly adoptable dog, waited for pats outside. The salad I got was huge and hearty and filled me up. My friends enjoyed their meals as well.

This was our second visit to Logan Tavern and we loved it just as much as the first time. This is one of the great casual restaurants in Logan Circle, which is a very trendy DC neighborhood. Logan Tavern is busy busy with an exciting buzz. Excellent place for lunch (or brunch). The indoor seating is very comfortable--plenty of cushioned booths. The food is uniformly delicious. My wife had the grilled bison burger with French fries and I had the grilled eggplant and portabella sandwich (with feta and sundried tomato pesto) with a side of grain mustard potato salad. Everything was perfect. Our server, Antonia, was knowledgeable, personable and very attentive. Logan Tavern is definitely now one of our go-to DC dining joints. Highly recommended!
