There were 6 of us at a business lunch. Ambience was very nice. Noise level was perfect. Food was adequate. They left out two main ingredients in my apple and fennel salad. The servers were very sweet and attentive. We were seated quickly and our order was taken quickly. But it took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive.

Long time local casual eatery has been somewhat surpassed by new restaurants in the area. It was pleasant to return. My chicken salad sandwich was quite delicious.

We ordered the scallops and lamb dishes. The presentation was nice but the flavor did not meet our expectations. The excellent service was greatly appreciated.

I came to DC for a business conference and looked quickly through the Open Table app as the time difference indicated that many places were going to be closing soon. We were looking for a place to have a soup and sandwich due to the cold weather. We looked at the online menu and it said they served butternut squash and ginger soup. We were sold! It was delicious and warmed our bellies! I ordered the apple pecan salad and my mom ordered the turkey burger. Everything was served in a timely manner and the host and waiter were very pleasant. It is not a super fancy place and looked like most people seated were having an enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend!

Their biggest thing is the bloody mary list. You can create your own and truly customize. Food was great, open atmosphere, server was great.

My husbands Steak Frites was very good but I decided to try the cod stuffed with crab meat on the restaurant week menu and it was so salty it was almost uneatable.

Went for Restaurant Week-- great value as the whole menu was available. Service by JOHN CORR was excellent. He did a good job of explaining the menu options and was up-beat and
efficient. JOHN is a definite asset to Logan Tavern! Food was good, and portions generous.

Service was horrendous. Took over an hour and a half just to order our food and get a round of drinks. I know we had a big group but there were people who came in at least an hour after us who got their food faster. It's a shame since the food is very good but will certainly try somewhere else next time.

My friend and I met here for brunch on Saturday this past weekend. The overall experience was lovely, especially the manager apologizing and comping my friends meal when we discovered some steel wool in her French toast. At least we know they clean their pans. Our server Jacqueline was unfortunately a little lackluster. She disappeared for long periods of time, and I even had to ask other servers to find her. She just wasn’t particularly attentive, but I’m not sure if it was because she had tables both inside and out (we were seated outside). The Crab Cake Benedict was delicious, and the Bloody Mary’s are worth every penny.

I enjoyed Logan Tavern. Myself and some coworkers went for lunch during restaurant week. Initially we went to partake in the lunch restaurant week special but opted against it after being explained that what was advertised as the lunch menu was the dinner menu and would cost more. However, I thought the food was good and our server was friendly. I definitely will be back and would recommend it to a friend!

We enjoyed the special Mahi Mahi dish, two burgers, and the salmon. All were well prepared and delicious. Then we ended the meal with the house key lime pie, which was exceptional. Throughout we had very attentive service. All-in-all a delightful dinner.

The braised lamb shank might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten @ LT. I’ve been a regular for many years. It’s dependably good food and friendly service. Yah, I’ll go back... probably next Friday.

Until this dine in, I had brunched here a couple years ago but was served on the patio and the brunch was okay. My recent dining here was very appreciative, especially the food and the service. It was a cold night and we initially had a seat next to the front window but our hostess located us a seat that was close to the kitchen. Of course it was a bit noisey because of the kitchen but it was much warmer. Our server was also great.

It was chosen as a last-minute option, for dinner on the year-end day. The waitress was very kind, took the time to explain the menu and specials and offered us recommendations. The atmosphere very cozy and the food deliciuos.

Logan Tavern is an integral part of life in Logan Circle DC. The owners are engaged, the service is good (not excellent), the food is consistently prepared and very well done. The noise level can be high when some obnoxious customers get drunk and believe everyone should pay them attention. Overall, Logan Tavern is great; would be even better if they asked overly intoxicated customers to leave.

The burgers were just okay- I've had better. The fries were overdone and broken into small pieces. The side salad was fair. I thought it was very overpriced for just a mediocre experience.

Outstanding little restaurant in downtown DC. Food was amazingly good. Great wait staff. Small and Casual with very relaxed and warm feel to it. An outstanding value. Would make the trip to DC just to include another tiny experience at this restaurant.
