Waitress was so attentive and gracious! She even separated the food we were sharing! ***
We heard good things about Logan’s Tavern and decided to try it. Our server really wasn’t great. He introduced himself very quickly so no one understood his name. He never brought us a bread basket until we asked him. There were four of us and we had one piece of flat bread and a small piece of a baguette. And the flat bread was stale. It looked like leftovers from another table. The boneless fried chicken was fantastic. Two of us had it and we both loved it. All in all, great food experience (less the stale bread) and so so service. It was hardly crowded so that wasn’t the reason.
It was really a busy day for the staff! I understand busy! All and All we will be back. The food is so good! Thank you.
Always great, it was crazy busy but all was great. I love this place... keep up the good work.
Ambience "lively" but understood due to the "activities!"
Found by mistake, enjoyed our meals. I had cod which was cooked to perfection. My husband had asparagus ravioli, which he said was equally good
Friends in town, went for brunch. Best waffles I’ve ever had. I will go back
We really enjoyed our time here. We celebrated a friends birthday. The food was good but the service was outstanding! The menu has options for all.
This is a nice, neighborhoody kind of place with covered, outdoor seating. There's a large main dining room with the bar. Booth and table seating there. Second dining area has tables and seating along a wall. It's a little tight and very loud.
The food is good with a sort of American bistro kind of feel. I saw a LOT of hamburgers going out. We had fried cauliflower and Korean chicken wings as appetizers and I recommend both. The cauliflower was really delicious, could have made a meal out of it.
For mains we got paella and the steak frites. I am not a paella fan but my husband said it was really good. Plenty of mussels, clams and shrimp served in a mini-paella pan. The steak frites was...ok. The steak was a flank steak, which, to me, is a little too chewy for anything but fajitas. It really should have been a hangar steak, or maybe a skirt steak in a pinch. The demi-glace was very savory and the frites were done perfectly.
My family really enjoyed our meal at Logan’s Tavern. It was a bit loud in the restaurant but that is hard to control. I am glad we went there, I would go again when we come back next time.
We had a great experience with our server Tophie. He was knowledgeable of the different dishes and he helped us make some great choices. Can’t wait to go back!
Pretty consistent every time i've been here. The staff and food are great!
The food we ordered was average but my eggs were over cooked. The waiter did apologize and took a couple of drinks off the final bill
We sat outside on the patio. Two of us had the classic burger, and our third person had a lamb burger. The burgers were big and juicy and the fries were very tasty. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing.
The food was great and our server, Chris, was awesome. He had a great sense of humor that just ramped up the fun aspect of the meal.
Service was excellent and prompt. All items ordered were delivered to the table in a very reasonable time frame. Entire party of 4 was very satisfied .
Excellent food. We has 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and wine and beer for around $110. Staff is friendly and quick! We will come back every year as we are in town for Police Week!!
Great food! Great service! Plan to revisit soon!
Logan tavern has always been our favorite. However this past weekend was very disappointed in quality of service and food. Waitress quite rude and unfriendly and food was not good. In past we always loved Logan tavern but haven’t been in awhile. Will not be going back.
Had a great Mother's Day brunch, though it was a rainy day outside. The Cobb salad and french toast sticks were excellent.
Great 3 course prix fixe lunch
Good service & good food
haven't been to this place in a few years. it has really gone downhill. mediocre food, poor service.
much better options in the immediate area
Great Burger! We sat outside (noise not an issue) in this vibrant neighborhood tavern. Our server was excellent without being intrusive and the burger was superb...fries extra crispy. Excellent value.
Your review must be at least 50 characters. Hooray!
The menu and cocktails looked great. We were just about a quick bite, but the Korean Wings and Steak on the salad were excellent. The specialty cocltail (vodka infused with berry and wine) was outstanding. We will definitely be back for a proper dinner!
Cocktails were great. Food was tasty. Service was a bit slow because it was super busy. Overall, a good meal.
Such a fun, funky place. The brunch menu is great and you must try the French Toast sticks (great to share as they are decadent). Great service too. I would absolutely go back and also try EatWell DC’s other affiliated restaurants!
Our go to place. Good food, good vibe!
Great find. Food was just amazing. They have a goat cheese polenta with a chicken that is like nothing I have ever tasted. AMAZING. Our waiter knew the menu made great suggestions and just matched our parties vibe. He was a great representative!
We enjoyed a fun dinner on the patio and took full advantage of the happy hour menu which had several great choices. We also enjoyed some of their featured mixed drinks, my favorite was the Raspberry Rush. Our server was on point and kept us enjoying a great time and great food, we would return for another happy hour.
I took my father, son and a few of his GW friends there for dinner. The hostess and the server were very nice. The server was very knowledgeable. We have to move the time of our reservation and change the number of people we were bringing. They were very flexible. Great neighborhood. I would definitely go there again.
I was looking for a great place to eat and fellowship with my cousins from NY and DC. We loved everything about the experience!
Great food, with kind and friendly service, would definitely go back.
Logan Tavern is a great place for comfort food. The appetizers and entrees are delicious.
Outstanding food and superb service. Highly recommend to all.
We had a lunch reservation for this place as all the reviews said it was slammed with lines if you did not have a reservation. Arrived to an empty restaurant and were seated. I explained my food allergies to the waitress who returned to tell me I probably should not eat there as they would not have many options for me. I asked about a spinach, strawberry blue cheese with poppy seed dressing salad option that was on the lunch menu and she went to inquire. She returned and said it would be ok. The salad arrived with rock hard slices of nectarines and no strawberries, I asked about the strawberries and she returned with two strawberries sliced on a plate. Three bites into the salad I about gagged as I felt a hair in my food. Big long hair wrapped in my spinach leaves. My husband said his food was just ok, nothing memorable. They removed my salad from our ticket and I did not reorder anything. We will not return.
Always reliable .
Good but very over-priced. Ordered the pot pie, which was about 4 inches in diameter. Despite having the tiny artichoke dip in addition to the pie, my husband left hungry. My older son also left hungry with the pork chop.
Food was outstanding-server was oddly rude which was off-putting. She seemed downright agitated and dismissive. Made for a strange dinner experience given how delicious the food was!
The food was ok— which may have been better if I was able to eat other options. The sangria was way too strong— which is not really necessary, and ultimately took away from that experience.
The worst part is we were being rushed out- which again was totally unnecessary. The restaurant was not busy AT all especially for a Sunday Brunch.
Decent but no need to return-
