We enjoyed a fun dinner on the patio and took full advantage of the happy hour menu which had several great choices. We also enjoyed some of their featured mixed drinks, my favorite was the Raspberry Rush. Our server was on point and kept us enjoying a great time and great food, we would return for another happy hour.
I took my father, son and a few of his GW friends there for dinner. The hostess and the server were very nice. The server was very knowledgeable. We have to move the time of our reservation and change the number of people we were bringing. They were very flexible. Great neighborhood. I would definitely go there again.
I was looking for a great place to eat and fellowship with my cousins from NY and DC. We loved everything about the experience!
Great food, with kind and friendly service, would definitely go back.
Logan Tavern is a great place for comfort food. The appetizers and entrees are delicious.
Outstanding food and superb service. Highly recommend to all.
Always reliable .
Good but very over-priced. Ordered the pot pie, which was about 4 inches in diameter. Despite having the tiny artichoke dip in addition to the pie, my husband left hungry. My older son also left hungry with the pork chop.
Food was outstanding-server was oddly rude which was off-putting. She seemed downright agitated and dismissive. Made for a strange dinner experience given how delicious the food was!
The food was ok— which may have been better if I was able to eat other options. The sangria was way too strong— which is not really necessary, and ultimately took away from that experience.
The worst part is we were being rushed out- which again was totally unnecessary. The restaurant was not busy AT all especially for a Sunday Brunch.
Decent but no need to return-
Logan's Tavern is a great restaurant that is a perfect venue for both social and business events. The food is very good for the price and the service is excellent. Ambience is very nice, not too loud.
First time there. Chipotle Chicken sandwich was outstanding. Staff wonderful. Loved eating on the front patio. Great quality and very good value.
Great food, service, and location. Good place for leisurely dining with a group of friends.
The boneless fried chicken sounded promising, but it was drowned in an odd-tasting gravy that made it mushy instead of crispy. The artichoke soup was good but not great. The calamari were ok, but it would have been better if the sweetish sauce had been served on the side. Service and atmosphere were OK.
Always great, will definitely be back!
We were a little disappointed with this restaurant. The restaurant was very loud, the food wasn’t that impressive (most of us didn’t have our eggs cooked as asked) and while the wait staff was nice, we were surprised they never came back to check on us or refill our coffees. Probably will go elsewhere the next time we go to DC and want a brunch.
GREAT SERVICE!! Food was perfect. Never felt cramped together = great round table for all six of us to visit.
The food is always excellent. The service is always great. I took my family and they loved it.
Super awkward hostess and underdone burger but Henderson was a great waiter - would go back for him and the Spring Mules
Friendly staff and super accommodating with children!
Great place for brunch. Creative options for Vegetarians as well as the more traditional fare. Service was attentive and swift.
My five friends were late. The restaurant allowed me to be seated anyway, which is rarely done. Very appreciated. Drinks are about the same price as everywhere else in the 14th street area. The food was good and arrived quickly. The service was excellent.
Great place for dinner before a play at the nearby Studio Theatre. Since they can be quite busy, make sure to tell your server when you need to leave. Food is good, but doesn't quite live up to the photos on their website. Happy hour is a bargain and runs until 7pm, so is a great idea for pre-theater.
Had a lovely lunch with empanadas, Caesar salad & salmon - service was attentive & professional... stayed attuned to our conversation & was great at checking on us.
expected higher-quality french fries and they ordered my lamb burger medium and it look like it came out a bit on the medium rare side
My wife and I arrived with a desire for excellent Bloody Marys over brunch and left not only satisfied with their vodka and tomato juice conceptions, but an appreciation for their southwest-inspired brunch flavors. She got the Huevos Motulenos and thoroughly enjoyed it while my Chorizo and Avocado omelet was equally enjoyed. The portion sizes were a perfect brunch size that left us satisfied but able to complete our errands afterwards. The ambience is semi-rustic/industrial. The seating was nice and the service was very attentive.
Wonderful food and exceptional service! We ordered the salmon and chicken paillard, both of which were excellent. Our server also went above and beyond to ensure a food allergy was avoided and great alternatives were found.
Just okay. Sat outside and the service was almost non-existent. Voted best Bloody Mary but
Yes, it was a good experience, but it was very noisy.
Tofie was an awesome server. Will definitely be returning. Food is amazing.
We were seated right away even though we showed 10 mins early. It was about 1pm on a Friday I believe.
We were served some bread with what seemed like pumpkin butter that was really good. I ordered a Cheeseburger and my friend ordered the Blackened Salmon. Everything was perfect. We sat by the kitchen which wasn't as loud as you might figure. We saw the manager watching closely over the cooks which made us feel good about what we going to eat. Great place!
We waited over an hour for our food and when we received it some of it was cold.
Dinner with friends before going to studio Theatre
Meeting some old friends
Logan Tavern was the perfect place for my family to have a last minute lunch. They accommodated our group of 8 comfortably, and the service was great. When the food came out, my Uncle's burger was undercooked. Our waitress was gracious and made sure that it was cooked how he liked it. Overall a great experience and we will be back!
Good experience for brunch at Logan’s Tavern. Unfortunately, they have a ridiculous rule when reserving a table for 10 or more, involving charging $20 PER PERSON if you cancel within a certain amount of hours. This is a minimum of $200 they would make off of a group cancellation. Unfortunately we had to limit our group to less than 10 because of this stupid rule, and therefore I cannot recommend this restaurant for large groups. I’ve lived in DC for years and never seen a scam such as making hundreds of dollars off of a cancellation like this. It’s a real bummer because they would’ve made a lot more money off of our group had we been twice the size, which is what we expected. Anyways, overall decent spot for a small brunch but this is not a large group friendly establishment so something to keep in mind!
Thank you for the feedback. I was hoping to clarify our reservation policy for you. We do take credit cards for reservations of ten or larger. This helps ensure groups who reserve are in fact going to join us in the space, and aren't speculative. All we ask for is notice if you aren't able to attend, as we hold that space (and keep others from using it), but I cannot recall a time when we have ever charged a card. I understand your hesitance, but this is a common practice in restaurants.
great food and experience, will comeback for sure.
Great brunch spot that is super accommodating to babies. One of our faves in the neighborhood,
Food and service was outstanding!
Henderson was an excellent waiter!!!
Great neighborhood spot. Food is consistently good, drinks are great, brunch is special.
