Our B&B recommended we try Logan Inn for dinner. We had no idea what to expect before going there, other than seeing the menu online. It was truly fantastic! The live music was wonderful and sitting outside was so relaxing! Our food, calamari as an appetizer, and the burgers with fries were so filling and delish! We didn't have a long wait at all, despite how busy they were. The next time we are in the area, we will definitely go back!
Charged $10 to park in the restaurant lot, even for restaurant customers. Not cool!
I cannot even begin to say what a terrible experience this place was, we made a reservation in advance for indoor dining, when we got there we were told by the rude woman manager that they decided not to open that area of the restaurant on a "holiday weekend" no less. Which is fine they must have been short staffed or had a reason, but they never even contacted us to say there was change in our reservation. The reservation was for 7:30 they did not seat us until 8:40, and when they did it was a table right in front of the kitchen door and entrance where our view was a swinging kitchen door and a view of other cusomers from the outdoor area coming in and out to use the rest rooms. Our server finally got to us after 20 minutes, we ordered a simple drink and a cold appetizer and warm bread to start, 30 minutes later we still had nothing at the table, I did get up to use the rest room and noticed that the area we reserved was closed off and all the tables were open. This is a very poor service establishement, the manager on staff that evening was terrible and I would not recommened it for anything other than an outdoor drink in the warm weather. I will say that because of theri terrible service and amking us wait we looked across the street and found the best little place in the area, The Salt House, fantastic staff and very friendly positive people in this place, the food was excellent and priced so well too! The Salt House is a must if visiting New Hope!
Nice place, good food, service was good. Ambience was very good. The only problem was a very noisy couple several tables away. They were cursing and speaking at a level where you couldnt have a conversation. Logan Inn personnel should have said something to them. Instead the couples that mentioned it were looked down upon by Logan Inn staff.
Very nice! Would take out of town guests again. Spacious table, seated on time. Server was very pleasant and efficient.
Menu was very diverse, something to satisfy everyone in our party.
WE love the Logan Inn. It is right in the heart of quaint New Hope. There id a lot going on in town and great for people watching We had an wonderful meal for Mothers Day. Our server was outstanding. We will definitely return.
Went with a party of 6 for Mother’s Day. Arrived 20 min early and still had to wait 30 min after scheduled reservation. I understand it’s Mother’s Day and super crowded but with elderly people 30 min isn’t acceptable . I also was very disappointed in the pre fix menu and options. Portions were ok but the food was not very tasty and arrived cold. I didn’t complain as the poor waiter was frazzled and super nice.
Maybe worth another try when it’s not so busy. Lots of ambience
We've dined at the Logan Inn and always have a good time. However, Mothers Day brunch was a fixed menu which was a new eexperience for us. First and main courses were delicious and had a wide variety of choices. Dessert was a total disappointment. Poorly presented and no choices. Definitely a let down for an otherwise great meal.
I don't think I would return on a busy holiday. We had gone on Mother's Day and I believe they had too many people to accommodate to that the food and service was very average. They stuck my party of three in the back banquet room with two huge parties of 10+ people. I would like to try it again, but probably on a non busy day.
Excellent Mother’s Day Brunch
Went for Mother’s Day brunch and was not aware it was a set priced menu for $40/person. So for me I got a cold italian wedding soup which was nothing like italian wedding soup, spring vegetable quiche (a slice) with roasted potatoes all for $40! Total rip off! Oh and I was under the impression that with that $40 set menu each person was to get a desert plate of mini deserts (as stated in the menu)...not the case! We were 6 people (2 kids) and were only given two desert plates. Food was warm temperature and just ok, it took forever for the food to come out being that it was over crowded, service was ok, was very loud, very over priced ($340 for mediocre breakfast food)...will not go back!
Not at all what we expected. We arrived to having to find our away around a family sitting on the front steps. And a crowded room with kids darting around and babies. The service was not great. Two items were wrong. The food was terrible. The musical act was the only good part of the evening. But even she was hard to hear with all the noise. Noise like screaming babies at the bar. Who brings babies to a bar? Great place for kids and screaming babies. Terrible place for date night, night out with friends, business meal.
The thermostat read 86. It was so hot in the room because of the raging fire in the fireplace. It was 55 outside. Also there was no changing table in the men’s bathroom. Which meant a trek out to the car in the rain to change toddler. On top of that , the food was just ok. Will not be going back anytime soon
Wait staff was terrible and did not care about what they were doing. And food was inly ok. I will definitely never go back
Pre Mothers Day Celebration.
After a long day of errands it was nice to relax at a restaurant that we frequent a few times a year. The menu is a feast for the eyes and unfortunately a drain on the wallet. I had the pan seared octopus appetizer while my husband had the raw sampler.....that alone set us back $50. Entrees were grilled lamb Chops and ahi tuna. Dinner with tax and tip came in at $150...and while we can't afford to cone here more than 2-3 times a year, we keep coming back as the quality and presentation of the meal is worth it. You can get by with a burger for about $18...and you might well do that your first time here but I guarantee you that you will want to broaden your choices on a returning visit. We don't eat desert but they look good!!
Goof New Hope choice, with interesting menu choices and good street view. Try the lobster and artichoke dip. Big pieces of lobster included. Bronzino, large crab cakes and salmon all good entree choices. Only criticism was that coffee was served lukewarm.
Service was poor.
Just OK. The waitress never introduced herself. Food was tasty but came to us at a lukewarm temp. Service was very slow.
The server was attentive and personable. The food was good.
Service was exceptional. Food was a little pricy but the beet salad was outstanding. Outdoor seating is really nice. It’s a fun place to have dinner or lunch. We have been there many times. Never disappointed.
The food was amazing and our server was very sweet!
Everything was fine to mediocre. Nothing really to complain about, but didn’t live up to the fine dining standard nor the price.
Although the building is old and historic, the dining room had no historic feel to it. Could have been anywhere. Would recommend the fish and chips—very tasty, but the crab cake had more filling than crab.
Logan was a happening place with a front row seat to the pedestrian traffic on Main Street in New Hope. Live music made it all the more festive. We were served a little bread, olives and wine to start and it was all quite special. High quality and appropriate portions. But the rest of the meal lacked finesse. The French onion soup was lukewarm and the melted cheese topping wasn’t browned. My seared branzino was barely seared. More white and soft without that extra layer of flavor, crisp and color. And the basmati rice, peppers and zucchini had been tossed together- a veritable pile under my unloved fish. Portions were abundant but the finished product was underwhelming. My husband’s hanger steak was barely warm and undercooked. Although the fries were great. So much potential, such uninspired cooking. We won’t rush back.
Liked the lobby area but the restaurant area is incongruously modern and way too loud on a Friday night. Drove us out with me being fearful for the wellbeing of our ears. Seriously way too loud.
Food and service was great. Would definitely recommend and return.
I love eating outside, they have both and both are great. Always good food and drink as well.
Loved it...inside elegant & cozy. Can't wait for Spring & outside dining & bar. Excellent food & service.
Dinner was well prepared. Four of us - our dishes included hamburger - solid choice, pork chop - lean and tasty. And two crab cake entrees which were excellent. Keep in mind however there is some filler in the crab cake. Two specialty drinks were creative and well displayed. The wine was tasty but overpriced at about 2.5x the over the counter price. I would put it at $$ so be prepared to pay for the quality.
It was the perfect night to sit outside. Meals were delicious. Server was awesome. This was our first visit - will definitely be back.
Loved it, as always Great dinner out with our neighbors. Not a speck of food left on the plates. Dishes ordered were the Logan burger, steak frites, branzino, and strip steak special. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
We had theatre tickets & stayed overnight at the Logan Inn, as well as had dinner there before the show. All was excellent :-)
The service was very good. Our waiter was attentive, though he didn’t think so because of a larger party. The food was very well prepared. I’m always a fan of a good raw bar.
Wonderful birthday brunch!
Great place to be! The Logan Inn is the best of New Hope!
I've really been enjoying Logan Inn. The food and the atmosphere. It's just a beautiful, cozy inn setting that makes me feel immediately comfortable.
Had the lamb chops excellent!
Waitress was excellent
We seem to come here more than any of the other restaurants in New Hope.
We came here to celebrate or 39th Anniversary.
We had an early lunch as we were going to see a play at the Bucks County Playhouse.
The service was excellent. We had a real nice time talking to our waitress about New Hope in general and the history of the Logan Inn..
Though a little pricey, the food was done exactly as we had asked and was very tasty.
I will definitely be coming back during the spring and summer months.
A chair at the table was dirty ( it was removed and replaced). Plates in the table had not been washed adequately and had residual food on them. Our waiter's shirt and apron were very dirty even though it was only 12:30. My Mediterranean plate was delicious. Bread was not served with the other 2 diners' lunches; they needed to ask for it. Since I am a vegetarian I would have appreciated more than 1 sandwich choice ( grilled cheese, veggie burger, tempeh). Our service was timely and got us to the theater with time to spare.
