About Logan Inn
Logan Inn, located in beautiful New Hope, was established as an inn in 1727. Logan Inn is the oldest continuously run inn in Bucks County and one of the five oldest in the United States. An intimate luxury inn, Logan Inn has sixteen spacious guest rooms, each completely renovated in 2016.
Dining is available in the lovely Colonial glass enclosed porches or in the cozy Fireside Room. In season, al fresco dining on the tented patio offers a wonderful spot for people watching, New Hope style. Stepping into the tavern, located in the oldest section of the building, is truly stepping back into time. The tavern remains open late and selections from the menu are available there. This careful blending of the old and the new has made Logan Inn one place where “the best of yesterday and today mingle beautifully.”

Logan Inn Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I went for my birthday we were seeing a play at Bucks County Playhouse. We were so disappointed in the food I ordered oysters which I was told my the waiter that east coast were bigger so I ordered them they were the size of my finger the manager did take it off our bill but when we received our meal I didn’t have the heart to complain I mean this was my birthday and it is the holidays but I got the pork chop which I couldn’t even cut it was so dried out I can understand that service was slow due to weather but the chef got everything wrong I was so hungry I ordered dessert thinking that can’t be bad a brownie with ice cream well I was wrong again the brownie was rock hard It was very expensive and when you work all day Saturday and spend what you’ve made in pay for a few days on a horrible meal its depressing I may call today to speak with management. Thank god the play was amazing! The night was redeemed due to that!!
Everything was very good. They messed up the order of our food and one of the appetizers came at same time as dinner. They were very apologetic and bought us an after dinner drink we ordered. Food was delicious and loved the High Hook Pinot blanc! Always make it a point to stop at Logan Inn when we visit PA.
Service was so,so. Took the menu with the wine list I was interested in choosing from on the back before I could decide. Same wines didn't appear in the regular list. Sat finished for a while waiting for the waiter to finish pushing cigars to another table.
Food was pretty good, except for the vegetables. The carrots in the peas and carrots where still hard and barely cooked. Tops of the few bread slices offered in the basket with oil were burnt on top and barely a slice worth picking up as it started to fall apart.
Ambiance was great, good for people watching and was nice for a change. Maybe better in the warmer months.
Went on Thanksgiving with immediate family. $49 per Adult, $20 per child under age 10. Too much price, not enough value for the money - yet too much food. Each portion could have been two meals. Meaning: Charging too much to jack up the price and justifying it with a double portion per plate - which, still should not cost as much. Value for Ambiance, historic, food quality, service I would set at $30 per adult plate and $15 per Child. All of the food was good, didn’t wait too long between courses, but price to value is high cost. $10 for Valet Parking?? Should be $5 and anything extra would be due to service above and beyond. I know dining out is big business but this seems excessive.
I found this restaurant online when I was visiting New Hope during Thanksgiving 2017. It was easily one of the best, if not the best Thanksgiving dinners I have ever had in a restaurant. From the quality to the portion size and the service all was excellent and delivered at a fair price. I highly recommend this restaurant.
great food choices...delicious and beautifully served and good wine
lovely atmosphere...relaxed and airy
excellent service...helpful and attentive but not bothersome
quick but not over bearing...food was presented as needed and wanted
A Wonderfully Delicious Experience!
We had a great pre Buck County Playhouse theater meal at the Logan Inn on a Saturday night. Our server was terrific and the food was very tasty. Nice wine list as well. If you want a quiet table, ask for one on the outside -- the central and bar area can be rather noisy.
Stayed at the Inn over night. Had an early dinner there. Ordered oysters and an arugula salad. The salad was described as having pears, nuts and dried cranberries. Perhaps a 1/10 of a pear diced into pieces so small that I could not discern what I was eating. Ditto the two nuts and 4 cranberries. I ate a small portion of the greens (not sure they were arugula either). At least the waitress removed the charge from the bill.
Continental breakfast offered in the lobby. No OJ. No place to sit other than on the sofa and occasional chairs in the lobby; not conducive to eating at all. No place to put the dirty dishes.
Oh, and, btw, when we returned from the theater, the front door was locked. Fortunately, a guest heard us knocking and let us in. The manager walked away from me when I complained.
Nope, won't be returning.
I was there for Sunday brunch. I restaurant was very crowded and busy.
We were seated outside, on the rocks, the server was great, but the food delivery was very slow. Although we did not complain, the server apologized for the slow food delivery. He was very good.
When the bill came, the restaurant comped our drinks to compensate for the slow service.
They really tried to make it right.
The only negative is the parking fee of $10 for those using the restaurant. Really not a good idea.
The food and service where wonderful. Me and my husband ate on the patio. We had reservation for 3:45pm and we got there early and they sat us by 3:20pm. The food didn't take long to come out and the service and staff were great and friendly. We ate here before we were going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show and the Playhouse. They allowed us to keep the car there until after the show. I had the prime rib which was cook perfectly and was delicious, my husband had the crab cake which was also delicious. We will definitely eat there again.
My girlfriends and I came for Sunday brunch, we had a really nice experience. It felt fancy without being stuffy. We got to sit outside which was beautiful but got a little noisy with cars/motorcycles on the street. I thought the food was a bit overpriced for what we ordered but it was delicious as were the cocktails. Plus it was a nice occasion out with friends so it wasn't that big of a deal. Our waitress (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was attentive and accommodating. We would definitely go back.
