Four senior citizens and one 4 month old grandbaby might have given some restaurants a heart attack. However, the hostess found an excellent area away from other diners where we could park the baby and stroller. Thank heavens he was an angel that night. Food was excellent. Steaks, crab cake and Ahi Tuna all satisfied our family. Wine choices were good but limited. We loved a jammy cabernet sauvignon recommended by the sommelier. We've been here before in summer but I liked that it was easy to get in on a cold rainy saturday evening in February.
Order the porterhouse steak for two!!
Group of 6 went to dinner after play matinee . Overall good, can’t wait for all the new renovations that we heard were planned in the near future. As we enjoy the Bucks County Playhouse in town.
Steaks were fabulous. Service was terrific, entire evening was cozy and very enjoyable.
food was delicious. there was a large party in the bar area, which contributed to the noise level, but still decent. tables not too close, great service, right in the center of new hope, so close to everything
Was very enjoyable
We had drinks at the bar before dinner. Cocktails were very good. The food was very good but the wait staff was inexperienced although pleasant.
A major turnoff is that they have their own parking but still charge $10 to park if you are having dinner.
Great Valentine's Day dinner! Very nice staff and food was cooked and served perfectly! Would definitely come back again.
Had a wonderful night out at the Logan for our anniversary. We started off with fantastic cocktails at the bar and followed it up with an amazing dinner in front of the fireplace. Saturday night special prime rib was amazing and the rack of lamb was equally as good! Cooked to perfection with great side items, more than enough food to bring some home for lunch the next day. Special shout out and thanks to Maggie Smith, GM of the Logan - she is top notch and made our evening one to remember!
The food, from appetizer to salad to entree to dessert, was fabulous! The restaurant is beautiful, and a wonderful place for a special date. Only unattentive service by our waitress marred a perfect dinner.
Food was outstanding and the ambiance is great. Server was very helpful.
Our dinner on Saturday, Feb 03, was terrific. Having visited the Logan Inn during the warm weather months, I didn't know what to expect dining indoors. We were pleasantly surprised, and greatly enjoyed our dinners. The beauty of the fireplace was perfect for a cold winters night, and we could hear the music being played in the background, not too loud, again, just right. We will return again as there were many menu items we would like to try.
It was a cold, crisp winter day when my friend and I decided to meet for lunch. Upon arrival the host sat us next to the warm fireplace. The ambience was remarkable. Summer was our waitress and she was attentive and very friendly. Most of all, the cream of potato soup with curry and then main course of crab cakes were the BEST I have ever had. We sat for a couple of hours and enjoyed the fire, historic atmosphere, friendly wait staff and most of all the opportunity to spend time with a dear friend. I feel as if the afternoon at the Logan Inn reflected our friendship. Thank you to the Chef, wait staff, host, and owners of Logan Inn
Always a staple for us. We come here all the time. Enjoy bringing people here who have never been. Good food and service always.
Everything was superb except for having to park to eat there.
Been to the Logan Inn several times and always love it. This time was no different, with one exception. One of my guests was enjoying a nice Onion Soup, when to her surprised she scooped out a mussel shell (complete shell). Upon telling the waiter he did remove it from the bill, but I was surprised the Manager didn't come over to check in and apologize. it was a pretty slow time period (end of Brunch) so he/she could have made the effort. That being said the food was excellent, our server very nice and place clean and enjoyable as always. Hence my rating is not "outstanding" for this one visit. I'll be back, but it's the little efforts that are remembered. John
Met friends at the Logan Inn for dinner on Saturday night. We sat near the bar near the outside windows. They must have had the heat off because we were so cold! There were 4 of us but only table settings for 2 people. We asked for 2 additional and the waiter brought plates but no silverware! Had to ask again. Food was okay-- we had two Logan burgers and salads Desserts were good. Didn't seem like we had too much attention from the waiter. Would go back but with lesser expectations.
food and service were excellent--great atmosphere--easy parking--much improved under new management!
The Logan Inn has a beautiful atmosphere, rustic and cozy! We sat on the porch which offered bright sun on a chilly day. The live jazz band was loud in the main restaurant/bar area, but provided a good backdrop for us on the porch. The food was okay and not as much variety for a brunch menu; and the service was inattentive. I would definitely return for drinks, the bar was very active!
I loved eating here! I’ve lived in the bucks county area for some time now and never actually had dinner at The Logan Inn before. I’ve don’t drinks and brunch out on the patio (which is beautiful in the summer) but never dinner. We went on a double date on a Friday night and the service was incredible. It was in January and the fire place was on and someone was playing live music from the bar. It wasn’t too loud, just enough background music. So rumor has it this place is haunted. During dinner the lights in the dining hall turned off and the entire wait staff was stunned. I don’t know if it was part of the “haunted act” or not, but it was really interesting to see happen! The food was very delicious too and great drinks. I recommend the Harvest sangria and the salmon and Ahi Tuna were delicious. I’d definitely come back here for dinner.
Great service, wonderful food, will be back many times
Coming to the Logan Inn shortly after the holidays has become a family tradition! We love the brunch food, cozy ambiance, great service, and live music. Will definitely be back soon!
Perfect for a New Year’s Celebration!!
Spent New Years Eve Dec 31st 2017 at the Logan Inn, really enjoyed our time. The only thing i wasn't happy about was the fixed Menu. I wished i knew ahead of time that it was fixed. When i booked the time slot nowhere was it mentioned that the Menu and price was fixed for the evening.
A New Year’s Eve brunch - food was delicious and well presented - a little noisy ( however the Eagles football game was on in the bar)
Overall a pleasant way to spend New Year’s Eve with family.
Anytime of year, inside or outside dining.
I've always returned.
Beautiful Christmas eve dinner!!
We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at Logan Inn. Wonderful menu and the food was perfectly prepared. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive....... Overall an excellent experience!
We had a great Christmas Eve dinner here . Save me a lot of work and was a nice environment to have dinner with the family. It would be great if there was a little more variety for a dinner like Christmas where families are likely to bring kids. The main course and dessert were great., but the appetizer selection was a bit tougher for picky eaters. Service was great . Early seating was very quiet - almost too quiet!!
It was great. I loved the oysters (east coast) and fried calamari. The mac n cheese was good. I only had apps because filet mignon they had no more but it was alright. Would come back. Server was great and atmosphere also
We were very glad we had a reservation since the restaurant was very busy. Our waiter was outstanding but the food was hit or miss. Filet was excellent, strip steak was tough, creme brûlée was very much like delicious scrambled eggs. Waiter was apologetic but that and a quarter buys you nothing . The bill for 6 people $475. Not sure I would do a special occasion there again.
My husband and I went for my birthday we were seeing a play at Bucks County Playhouse. We were so disappointed in the food I ordered oysters which I was told my the waiter that east coast were bigger so I ordered them they were the size of my finger the manager did take it off our bill but when we received our meal I didn’t have the heart to complain I mean this was my birthday and it is the holidays but I got the pork chop which I couldn’t even cut it was so dried out I can understand that service was slow due to weather but the chef got everything wrong I was so hungry I ordered dessert thinking that can’t be bad a brownie with ice cream well I was wrong again the brownie was rock hard It was very expensive and when you work all day Saturday and spend what you’ve made in pay for a few days on a horrible meal its depressing I may call today to speak with management. Thank god the play was amazing! The night was redeemed due to that!!
My first visit to the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and very good food. Filet mignon was done perfectly as med rare. Calamari appetizer was generous and tasty. Nice being able to stroll the street shops after dinner.
Went for the tree lighting and a final Thanksgiving with family we didn't get to see on Turkey day! Love it Here! Gorgeous place, great food, and wonderful service!
The New Hope Xmas Tree lighting was hosted by Logan Inn.
It was amazing! Food & service outstanding! Our Thanks to Maggie Smith the Manager, excellent!
Everything was very good. They messed up the order of our food and one of the appetizers came at same time as dinner. They were very apologetic and bought us an after dinner drink we ordered. Food was delicious and loved the High Hook Pinot blanc! Always make it a point to stop at Logan Inn when we visit PA.
We had a great Thanksgiving dinner. The price fix was very reasonable I liked the fact that we had other choices besides turkey, like salmon or steak. The service was excellent and we were seated in the big room with the fireplace as I requested
Service was so,so. Took the menu with the wine list I was interested in choosing from on the back before I could decide. Same wines didn't appear in the regular list. Sat finished for a while waiting for the waiter to finish pushing cigars to another table.
Food was pretty good, except for the vegetables. The carrots in the peas and carrots where still hard and barely cooked. Tops of the few bread slices offered in the basket with oil were burnt on top and barely a slice worth picking up as it started to fall apart.
Ambiance was great, good for people watching and was nice for a change. Maybe better in the warmer months.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the Logan Inn and there was a good variety and the food was all delicious.
