   Good was great and cooked to perfection. Drinks were fantastic with their own twist on original cocktails and dessert was fantastic! Strawberry shortcake was light and creamy and just sweet enough that it was a perfect addition to dinner.

    We thought Cielos was a solid 4 out of 5. I searched best small plates and Cielos was a top choice. We had the Green Corn Tamales and Pork Chop. My husband loved the chop and the sauce-he's not a sauce guy. The Tamales were very good. Our server was good but when we didn't order bar drinks, I felt his energy drop. We are at 5pm and the tables filled quickly!

    We love Cielo’s - this time we tried the charred octopus appetizer which was excellent! Although too cool to sit outside, the view of the patio and fountain from all the glass allowed you to enjoy it as if you were out there. Food and service is always the best here - it’s why we keep returning!

    Came out to Arizona for a short time to visit my daughter and celebrate mine and my husbands birthday ( there 2 days apart ) On my birthday I booked a 6pm reservation and specified that it was a special occasion. Upon arrival the hostess was very nice, saw it was my birthday. After sitting us down we had a young waitress who seemed nice but not much personality. She was ok at first but was a 45 minute moment where we had lost her . We had to go to the wait staff station to order additional drinks etc. After dinner was over our plates sat for 20 minutes. She never came back to offer coffee or dessert. We had to ask the waiter that was at the next table ( who btw..seemed very attentive ) told him that we haven’t seen our waitress and we would like dessert as well. He apologized and sent the manager over. After complaining about the service he apologized and said the waitress was doing a bigger party as well. We understood the issue but that didn’t mean my birthday dinner wasn’t important as well. At the end they comped our dessert but to me it wasn’t about that, I just wanted a memorable birthday experience with my husband. I will say the food was good and the place was very cute. Sadly, the waitress just didn’t make us important which just put a damper on the night.

    Exceptional food, especially the scallops and pasta with mushrooms, our two mains. Ambience was perfect. Service just right. Loved it. Only suggestion would be making more dishes GF accessible. It’s not a hard change. The markings were on the menu but only applying to like 1 appetizer and 2 salads. That’s kind of sad compared to other upscale places.

    The food was delicious. Very expensive for small portions. Terrible margaritas and so small. Happy hour not much. Desert was $12 for about a quarter cup of cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. Beautiful place with lots of possibility.

    My wife and I had lunch with another couple at Cielos last week. Of the four of us, two really liked the food. I had the lamb chops which were tiny. The other guy had a hamburger that he said was a little dry. One woman got a salad which she said was very good and the other got tacos which she gave a b. Service and the atmosphere were great. I would go again, but I would get something other than the lamb chops.

    Overall we had a wonderful Valentine's Day Dinner. As many posts say, the food was outstanding, but the service was lacking. Seemed disorganized and slow from the git go. Even though we had a reservation, it took several minutes for them to get the table ready. The hostess took off and the manager greeted us, but didn't have a clue about the status of our table. Once seated our waitress was very friendly and took great care of us, but things were very slow. The food, however, was fantastic! We will definitely come back again, but only when we have a full evening with nothing else planned. If you have a leisurely attitude this place is really good for a special occasion.

    We asked for an outdoor table not knowing it would be too cold to sit outside. We were told our only option was to sit in the bar if we wanted to eat indoors. It was very noisy and somewhat chilly in the bar area. The food was good however.

    Since there was an intuit meeting at the hotel, the seating was limited to the breakfast area. It was cold and unromantic. Most of the food was excellent- especially the octopus. However my wife’s main course was - the lodge pasta. It was bland and tasteless. We mentioned it to the waitress and she replied, “it’s not supposed to be that way. I noticed that the color of the sauce didn’t look right when I delivered it.” Also we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We booked a deluxe Spa King room with a fireplace. 2 months ahead of time. Upon arrival we were told that all those rooms were filled, They instead offered us room with no fireplace or spa for $10 less.

    I booked a last-minute dinner reservation for 10 and the restaurant did a great job accommodating our group with only a few hours' notice. We were seated in the fireplace room, a private dining room. This was a wonderful surprise and a nice touch for the executives we were hosting. Service was mostly good, only a couple hiccups. The food was spectacular. Not one complaint from anyone. The chef's board appetizer was bountiful and had a nice variety. The pork chop entrée was my favorite.

    The food was pretty good, but not great. Both the food and the drinks are heavily overpriced. The mixed drinks are quite small. Service was spotty and our waitperson seemed perhaps overwhelmed although the place wasn't close to full. Give it a pass.

    We sat on the patio on a nice January Saturday night. Great vibe! Limited menu all with a southwest theme. Entrees, apps, and craft cocktails were excellent. The chocolate desert bomb thing was a complete miss. Great service and very clean bathrooms.

    My only complaint is that it was cold and they sat us right inside the door. I asked if we could sit at the next table and the hostess told me it was reserved specifically. When we left nobody had yet to be seated there when we left. The food and service was top notch!

    We have eaten at Cielos previously, one time, and it was a treat then repeated on this visit to. Very good food, prepared marvelously. The waiter very graciously provided us with a free dessert when he found out that this meal was in honor to my wife's birthday! So sweet!!!

    We (party of 6) were pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a restaurant. Located in a lodge/hotel, we were treated to delicious drinks and dinner with a charming and witty server. The Sonoran martini was so good, that I had to ask for the recipe. Three of us had the Sonoran salmon which was delicious. It came with mashed parsnips instead of potatoes that were a nice change. Two had the green chili stew as a first course, and after we all sampled it, agreed that it was perfectly seasoned. My husband’s short ribs were the best that we ever had, so tender. The pork chops and enchiladas were rated excellent by the others. Overall, a home run from drinks to dinner to the service. Whoever was in the kitchen, please don’t leave! Someone please send our compliments to the chef!

    We really enjoyed our dinner here! There is a bar with TVs for those who want to watch sports with their food and drink. There is often live entertainment outside that is also a draw. There are heaters, well spaced tables, a fireplace, all very inviting. We usually eat indoors where tables are also well placed. But the main draw is the very interesting menu. The chef is creative and is sending out delicious dinners. The wait for food is minimal. Cielos has become a favorite restaurant.
