Cielos at Lodge on the Desert offers one of the best dining options in Southern Arizona. Dine on contemporary seasonal cuisine that pays tribute to Southwest ingredients. Complemented by classic craft cocktails featuring local spirits and a delectable wine list, Cielos is the perfect place for a romantic night out or a casual happy hour with friends.
The intimate space is framed with floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooks a spacious secluded Saltillo-tiled outdoor private patio featuring bistro string lighting, a four-sided, tiled fireplace for optimal year-round al fresco dining. Cielos and its Bar both reflect a genuine, richly authentic Southern Arizona historic charm and ambience including rough-hewn artist-design hand-painted wood beams, Mexican tin chandeliers, floating potted plants and shade sails.

As the meal unfolds, savor our first course of refreshing Cold Avocado Soup, complemented by succulent shrimp and zesty grapefruit salsa, accompanied by the delightful Antonini Guado Tasso Vermentino 2023. Next, indulge in a second course featuring a vibrant Summer Panzanella Salad, perfectly paired with the crisp Pazo Barrantes Albariño 2021. The food was very good, but it wasn't hot, just warm. Service was slow. Several times we had to call our server over to take our order. Food took a long time to be ready. Patio setting was lovely.

Great dining experience. The atmosphere, service and food were all excellent. The Green Corn Tamale Hush Puppies and Lodge Tamale a must try, very good!

I took my boyfriend for his birthday to Cielos. They were very timely and our server was very nice and attentive. The food tasted amazing and fresh. They also were so kind to serve us a free dessert for the birthday.

The food was fantastic. There wasnt one thing that wasnt five star. Everything we ate we loved. The service was very attentive and the atmosphere was great!

Delicious Easter Brunch! Invited my sister after her husband passed away and the ambiance was quiet, quaint and lovely. Prime rib and salmon were cooked to perfection. Colossal shrimp on the appetizer table, incredible bread pudding and pecan pie! We will be back!

The food was delicious and the patio was charming. I had the trout and my husband had a salad with grilled chicken. It was a nice way to relax on a beautiful day after a lot of walking at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. Service was prompt and friendly. I enjoyed the house margarita while my husband had a craft beer. They have a happy hour 3-6 pm. We had a dinner reservation at 6 pm.
