The intimate space is framed with floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooks a spacious secluded Saltillo-tiled outdoor private patio featuring bistro string lighting, a four-sided, tiled fireplace for optimal year-round al fresco dining. Cielos and its Bar both reflect a genuine, richly authentic Southern Arizona historic charm and ambience including rough-hewn artist-design hand-painted wood beams, Mexican tin chandeliers, floating potted plants and shade sails.

Excellent. Exceeded expectations. Delicious. Welcoming. Friendly. Attentive.
It was a nice evening. We are able to walk over from where we live and that’s a plus.
We went here for our Anniversary and everything was great! The patio was quiet and cozy. the Old Fashioned was excellent and our server was attentive but not intrusive. We highly recommend this location for a special occasion. Thank you for making our Anniversary special!
Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend the tacos and the creme brulee!
Old Tucson ambience and outdoor dining with outdoor fountains and fireplaces. Excellent bar food and dinner menu with outstanding wine list and cocktails. Plenty of space between tables.
Great ambience, service and food. Super easy to book on Opentable.
It was perfect. Next time we visit Tucson, we will totally be back. Our waiter, Wes, was great, the food was delicious, and the outdoor ambiance was lovely.
Patio was very quite, as we were there for lunch. Food was excellent, drinks were good.
Wait staff was attentive, all in all a great time. Will go back for dinner and a stay overnight.
This restaurant was a wonderful surprise When traveling we rarely eat at the hotel, as typically the food is mediocre at best. However, Cielo ‘s was fantastic. Nice outside table, great live background music, and the food was fabulous. I had the Cioppino And my wife the scallops both were fantastic. As an aside, this is located in “Lodge in the desert” Which is the cleanest hotel in which we have stayed.
This was a birthday dinner. We chose Cielos because of their positive reviews. All of the food was cold. 2 of the dinners were sent back. One of the ribeyes was very rare, was ordered as medium. It was returned very well done and returned again. We did finish one of the ribeyes and a short ribs dinner. Service was very slow though it did not seem very busy. We asked to speak with the manager, but he was "unavailable". They didn't charge us for two of the dinners, but overall it was a poor experience.
Had a wonderful evening on the outside patio. Beautiful ambience, good food, nice wine selection with wonderful service. Will be returning soon.
Wonderful lunch. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes on the menu!
I’ll start by saying the server was very nice and helpful... aside from that this was a terrible experience. Drinks were mediocre at best, certainly over priced for what was delivered. For apps, we had the meat and cheese board and the guacamole which was the most plain under seasoned guacamole I’ve had (my 8year old could have done a better job). For entrees, two people ordered the trout, which was inedible... the succotash was so salty both people had to send the dish back. Another in our party had the ribeye, which had a nice crust but oddly enough seemed to have no seasoning at all on it... certainly the worst steak I’ve ever tried at a restaurant. The highlight of the dish was the refried beans that came with it, they were excellent. Another ordered the short rib, which was ok, very tender with the little dribble of sauce they managed to put on the meat it had a great flavor, and the bed of grits were very good, but sadly the carrot served with the dish were basically still raw and to my taste were also inedible. Finally we had the tamale which was the all around best thing we had, however it was nothing like an authentic tamale... it was more of all of the parts of a tamale just piled on a plate in a heap. Plating was horrible, but it tasted really good.
If you want good service in a cool atmosphere with terrible food, then this is the place for you. What an expensive and disappointing evening.
Steak was excellent! Would return for sure.
It was nice to feel secure eating out again. The outdoors was crowded with a couple of larger groups close the music and the farther away tables had already been booked so we sat inside well spaced from 3 other occupied tables. The lamb chop appetizer was excellent as was the service.
We went there only because there where a few restaurants open due to Covid.
The service was slow. Menu is quite limited although what we ordered was well prepared.
Decor is rather cheap, no atmosphere.
Enjoyed every minute!
Will be back. Was a nice relaxing evening on their patio. Food was great. We closed the place down with desert and Zambucca.
Excellent menu, service, ambience. Will Return in the near future.
What a cool little place tucked in the north side of Tucson. A little tricky to find the entrance, but once in it was like a little oasis. High walls keep the city sights and sounds down. I could only see the decorations and palm trees. Quite nice. Service was really good.
Lamb chop was great! Monsoon margaritas was amazing!
It was just bad food, I rather eat McDonald's
Very adherent to the current mask and distancing rules. Menu now is printed sheet for each patron. Offer inside or outside or even bar inside. Service is always perfection with quick delivery of drinks, refills of water, and the check when you ask. The menu is simple and ample for most and the wine by glass very nice as is the bottle menu. Nice courtyard setting.
Great food. Nice atmosphere. We were even able to sit outside n July in Tucson!
The service was excellent and the bartender amazing. We highly recommend this venue.
Enjoyable experience for lunch. Undercover outdoor seating was comfortable despite 100-degree temps. Tables well-separated both inside and out. Staff wearing masks and paying attention to pandemic protocols.
Tables are well separated and the staff all wear masks. Excellent table cleaning routine I noticed. The menu is not large but everyone can find some great food. Esp love their lamb chop appetizer that comes with a tasty salad and a perfectly cooked sea bass for dinner. Nice wine by the glass
Excellent service, delicious food. I’d return even if I’m not staying at the Lodge on the Desert.
Nice place to go. Fine dining.
Love the food!!
Outstanding food by a super chef! Located within the historic Lodge on the Desert.
Loved getting back into the world and eating here. Great service, wonderful food and very comfortable atmosphere.
We loved it - beautiful, excellent food. The tamales are to die for.
Loved the food. Especially the entrees. Started out with Guacamole -- very good but a very small portion. Had the House Margaritas as well. First time.
Loved the Pork dinner and the Steak Dinner. Both flavorful. My wife is allergic to cow cheese and I'm celiac. Hard to find a place with a chef that can make dinners flavorful without reliance on butter, cream and gluten. This chef does an amazing job at that.
We will be back.
great night ...glad to have enjoyed Cielo's ...very good meals...great waiter and presentation...will go back...
My husband and I had the sea bass and it was excellent. Everything was really good; the service, the drinks, the bread, salad and entree. Cielos is one of our favorite restaurants in Tucson. Delicious!
Very delicious food. Varied menu. Indoor outdoor seating. Good service.
It was great. Creative dishes. Nice wait staff. Pretty place and quiet. We really enjoyed it and would return next time we are in Tuscon
This is a very cute little restaurant. We were able to sit outside next to the fireplace. Service was good and fast. Food was amazing. Definitely recommend stopping here. We started with the pork belly sliders, then the duck breast and filet. Both were cooked perfect.
Nice restaurant, a little cold with recent rain, but not too bad.
