This will be our forever spot for anniversaries. We got married the night before and had dinner the night after, and from the food to the service, it was all impeccable. We ordered grilled lamb, taco salad, tamales, and the mar y Tierra, and WOW. I look forward to staying at the Lodge and dining at Cielos again.

Thanksgiving dinner meal was definitely not worth $144 for 2. Atmosphere was great but mostly because the weather was perfect, service was average but the turkey was unlike any I've ever had. It tasted more like ham (which I despise). We were so disappointed, we had a Thanksgiving re-do.

We had our Thanksgiving Dinner at Cielo’s. The soup was superb, followed by the main course. We had several choices to choose from. Their food was delicious. Our waiter was very cordial.'

The food was good (chicken), but not outstanding. The prices are incredibly high for the amount of food served---not great value for the price. Service was good. There was a surprise when we received the check. We were a party of four (were originally booked for seven, but 3 had to cancel), and one person ordered a bourbon on the rocks. The surprise was an additional charge of $3.00 for the ROCKS! This wasn't printed on the menu, and the waiter didn't inform us of the extra charge when rocks were ordered. If we had known we were going to be charged $3.00 for ice, we would have taken some out of our water glasses and put it in the bourbon. For the price of drinks and food, this seemed to be a very greedy thing to do. We will never return.

We sat outside and the setting is lovely and fairly quiet. There is a water fountain feature that keeps the ambient noise of others' conversations dimmed. Happy hour offered a nice selection, and the carnitas tacos and fundido were both very good. The Basil Agave Gimlet and House Margarita were fresh and bright. Our main course of sea scallops were perfectly seared on the outside and moist inside, and the risotto was an excellent complement. We will be back.

The entrance to the restaurant is circuitous; however, there are attractive gardens. We were daytime diners, so I hope at night there is adequate lighting. The service staff was very friendly and helpful in selecting items for one of the parties that required special attention for medical reasons. All the meals were enjoyed, and we will return.

Appetizers were brought out not fully warmed thru. Hanger steak while perfect mid-rare was either left to rest for a long time or just extremely delayed in being served. The steak was cool, served on luke warm beans, covered with white and green tortilla strips and served with 1 and a half small tortillas (not even warm. $35 for 6 to 8oz cool steak over maybe quarter cup of luke warm beans is horrible. The steak flavor was great. Your shrimp and scallops were again seasoned cooked well, but not hot. Honestly, feel like they sat under a broken heat lamp waiting to be served. Which is odd because our server was great, restaurant not even slightly busy. Bar looks great. Ambiance was nice. But considering the claims of one of Tucsons best ranked restaurants and their prices, we expected so much more. Decor is extremely dated. However, over all a quite place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. I'm chalking it up to an off night for the kitchen crew

We were really looking forward to eating here while on a road trip but it was AWFUL. The barracuda tasted like it had been sitting out spoiling all day and the hangar steak was MAYBE 4 ozs for $35 with beans that were straight out of a can. The breakfast buffet was worse....sausage and bacon sitting in a bath of grease, dry stale bagels, cold waffles and no new food being put out despite empty chafing dishes. It was bad. McDonald's breakfast sandwich would have been way better.

We were delighted with our dinner at Cielos. There were three of us and we each ordered different appetizers and entrees. All delicious. We sat outside on the patio where we enjoyed the beautiful setting and ambiance. The staff were attentive, thoughtful and professional. Highly recommend.

Went to Cielos to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Very, very delicious! We both had the scallops over a corn elote and it was really good. We also split the chocolate gluten free cake; it was rich and smooth and dense. You would not believe it’s gluten free. Cielos is a hidden gem!

I visited Cielos about two years ago and found it lacking: the food was not good, and the service was horrible. Things have truly changed. Service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We will definitely return.

We arrived after 2:00 when the lunch menu ended. We ordered off the limited bar food menu and enjoyed our jackknife tacos, chips and guacamole. Their tortilla chips have a light dusting of chili powder. They stand apart. The wine list is good. We enjoyed a bottle of Viognier from the Willamette Valley. They even provided an ice bucket to finish the wine in our room. If you want to order from the regular menu, arrive before 2:00.
