We absolutely love Lock Stock & Barrel. We started going for our anniversary 6 years ago, and even though we go multiple more times per year, it is great knowing every time we are going to get an exceptional meal and a fantastic experience every single time.
Our waitress was fantastic the food was ok the value was way overpriced for what you got. I would save the money and go to Texas Roadhouse for comparable dinner for half the price.
It was my husbands 40th birthday. The food was great and our waiter was awesome! The ambiance and live music were perfect for for the occasion. We will be back!
The prices are high for what you get. One steak is $48. Service and atmosphere don’t live up to pricing.
Everything was great! Except for the music. SUPER LOUD and I was introducing my guy to my family for the first time and was hoping for a quiet place so they could get to know him.
Some of my family members are hard of hearing and the music was way to loud for such a small area. We were able to talk when the guy finally took a break, but next time I will make sure we come in on a night that doesn't have music. The space is too small to have someone playing music. Thank you. Kristen
Great food, steak perfect! Parking sooooo accessible.
Amazing food and amazing service by Mike. Thank you for making date night with my husband so special!!
Great Service as usual and food is always consistently delicious. Like sitting in the bar and listening to the live music on Fri nights. Fun atmosphere/friendly employees and patrons.
Always great food and service! And the best salad bar EVER!
Our food and service was great. The steak was one of the best I've had out at a restaurant in a long time. This includes steaks I've had at Chandlers and Ruth Chris.
Nice quiet steakhouse, quick service, good food.
Overall a good evening and meal. Really enjoy the salad and soup bar. The prime rim and steaks were good, food should been a little hotter coming out of kitchen.
Our food was absolutely amazing, I got the Lam Shank and my husband got the Mozzarella Steak and both were phenomenal! We also had the seared scallops and the Cookie dough cake and those were just as delightful. I do wish there were more than 3 scallops for $15 though. The service was a little slow but understandable with a 12 top table that he had. I will definitely recommend this to a friend looking for a good bite!
Always a great time there, great food with great friends
Service was great and the food is alway top notch. Salad and soup bar are very nice bonus as well. They have a good selection of wine as well. Always recommended
Waitress was excellent but took a long time for meal.
I brought my 70 year old sister and my 47 year old son for their birthday's....there was such a fabulous variety of food choices for (me too) all and we just had the best food, service, and time. It was a great dinner! I highly recommend this restaurant. My son is a certified nutritionist and a REAL FOODIE...he loved it! Nice time for all!!!
It was our Anniversary. Restaurant doesn’t do anything special.
Amazing food, we will definitely be back! The atmosphere was very cozy and when the little jazz band started up, it was wonderful.
We have enjoyed dining at Lock Stock and Barrel for over 20 years. Great food, nice atmosphere and excellent service.
Perfect location- ☑️ Outstanding service - ☑️☑️ Hot, delicious, amazing food (our steaks were perfect) - ☑️☑️☑️. We ate there two nights in a row 😍
Best steak in Boise !
Made reservations for dinner prior to going to see George Lopez @ Morrison Center. Dinner was ahhhmazing! I ordered the weekend special, Barrel steak with mushroom risotto. The meat was super tender and the risotto was the best I’ve ever had.
It's always a treat to go to LS&B. I took my son and his girlfriend there for her Birthday. The food is great and portions are generous (her piece of salmon was HUGE). This is not an inexpensive place to eat, so we save it for special occasions. That said, it's our favorite special occasion restaurant. Great, courteous (yet not intrusive) service is the norm here, and the courtesy slice of mud pie (large enough to share) on a birthday is the final piece after the included salad bar and bread to make this an enjoyable experience.
Our server was excellent(Sarah). She was very attentive and very friendly.
Everything was very good with the exception of the service. It was the poorest service we have received at Lock Stock and Barrel.
Excellent choice of steaks (USDA Barrel is top), great wine list, friendly waiters, simply my favourite steakhouse in Boise
Great food, friendly staff, nice dining experience.
Always great service and food, we dine here frequently for business meals.
Prime rib was excellent loved it. Parmesan potatoes were boring no flavor 3 of us ordered them no more than two bites were taken. Service was excellent
We had our anniversary dinner, it was spectacular prime rib! Everything was top notch!
Roasted Garlic & Brie, and Lobster Tails & Shrimp dinners were yummy - great wine selection too !!!
Great service and the best prime rib in town. We are never disappointed and they are very quick as well, you won't be here or three hours!
Was living overseas for the last three years in Germany and this was the first steakhouse I chose to eat at upon my return. Best steak in the valley and perfect for a date night.
Gem of a restaurant with amazing steak and prime rib. Excellent creme brule.
Food was outstanding and service was excellent. I has the prime rib which was cooked perfectly to order. My wife had pork tenderloins and it was the best pork dish she has ever had. The waitress was amazing, she went out of her way to make sure we were happy and that all the food was acceptable.
Great food- one of THE BEST steakhouses in town- you won't be disappointed. We loved it, and will be back.
We have been to Lock Stock and Barrel many times and we love it every time. We enjoy their menu choices, prices and their delicious food! The service is wonderful as well. This time we took our son and his fiancé to eat for a special occasion and we were not disappointed. They loved the food as well. We recently visited a pricier steakhouse in Boise and their food was not as good as Lock Stock and Barrel's. We are big fans!
It was a casual and comfortable place. Old and worn out. I asked the waiter to leave off the cheese from my salad, he left off the Parmesan but I got the feta anyway. Nothing vegan on the menu.
It was a casual place my in laws would enjoy but not a special occasion celebration place. In my opinion.
I love this place, I’ve been coming to LSB for 30 years and I have never been disappointed my filet was perfectly cooked and I had one of the biggest baked potatoes I’ve ever seen, it was a great meal!
