Excellent food and service.
Just a perfect late evening. Locanda Verde is that local spot that you wish you had near you all the time. Literally what you would picture a Tribeca place to be….perfect!
I truly love this restaurant. I’ve been dining here for years and the service is always great and the food is consistently delicious.
Food was fantastic. Our waiter was overwhelmed and perhaps he was new making our dining not too smooth. Overall I love the restaurant and will be back! It’s worth it!
The vibe here is great and the food is good. I might be in the minority, but I think it's over-hyped and there are better Italian spots out there (many of which are cheaper too!). The service was also disappointing. Waited forever at the table before she even came to offer water/take drink orders, and she rarely came by to check in. Overall, I think you will likely enjoy it - but you can have a better experience elsewhere!
We were seated 40 minutes late. I emailed the restaurant in advance to say it was my mother’s 40th birthday and requested a seat in the courtyard or inside. Instead they seated us both late and on the sidewalk. Food was excellent though.
The house-made granola and yogurt were absolutely delicious, as was the cinnamon roll! All were mouth-watering! The frittata--not so much! Bland, overdone (brown) and not enough savory ingredients spread throughout. It could be improved upon. I wouldn't order that again, but I'd come back for those other items. Our decaf coffee was tasty, but they never filled our cups. It was almost as if there were a decaf bean shortage--ha! The atmosphere here is very inviting--vintage warehouse loft-ish. So, I'd give it another try at lunch, dinner or for cocktails.
Fabulous food and service. Definitely on the pricey side ($30 pasta dishes) but you get what you pay for and it’s in prime location in Tribeca.
Everything was great- terrific bar
Had dinner outside on a beautiful night this fall. Lovely restaurant inside and out. Great people watching from the outdoor tables. However, we were very disappointed in our experience. The service was painfully slow to the point we felt ignored. Also, after I paid, the server left a new bill saying he forgot to charge me for a glass of wine, so I had to pay again. The meal was nothing special too. It was fine, but rather bland, even the pasta. It will be a while before I return.
Great Italian food, great service. Even if you’re looking for a quick bite and drink can sit at bar, lovely place.
The food was really delicious and once the appetizers arrived we had really high hopes. But it turns out the service was terrible. My hunch is that they were understaffed but for a $300+ meal, that’s hardly an excuse. We waited 50 minutes between courses. It definitely takes the shine off. We won’t be back.
Great Italian wine selctiona dn very good cocktails. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. Food was amazing.
For a $50 steak it shouldn't be so small and way too fatty. Also over cooked. Disappointed
The food was wonderful and the staff was so friendly. The garlic chicken with root vegetables was my favorite. Perfect afternoon spot to gather safely outside with friends and enjoy some wine.
We sat outdoors, which was nice. Unfortunately, as with almost every restaurant these days, LV seemed understaffed. We waited a while to get a server’s attention each time. That said, the food was on par and delicious as always!
We had a fantastic birthday lunch. The restaurant was very accommodating with arranging a cake and other plans. And we had the most attentive server ever. A really memorable day!
Celebrating my daughter’s move to NYC!!
Limited menu, marginal salads, overpriced
Flew in from LA and headed straight to our favorite NYC restaurant. It’s been two years and as usual dinner was a TEN!
LV rarely if ever disappoints. Thanks to the team for a wonderful service experience.
Iconic and special
Avoid the negroni - it will underwhelm you and set the stage for more underwhelm.
Outstanding food, and the wait staff was marvelous! Thank you for a memorable meal!
The food was very good. The service was very good. The restaurant was very loud. The whole experience was very good but not spectacular, which I expect from NYC dining.
It was our first time eating here since Covid and we had high hopes. The services was atrocious and the cocktails were undrinkable. The food, as always, was delicious, but make sure you have hours of free time because nothing happens fast here. Also…. Wayyyyy too much bread with everything and anything green is hard to find.
This place used to sing a song that no other Italian spot in the city sung. I don’t know what happened but it’s just not there anymore. The pandemic has changed a lot of places but the contrast here is too great to reconcile. The food was as if a 36 year old white woman from a LA suburb had a fantasy of how she wanted Italian food, and here we are… So saddened by this departure for quality and character. I hope they correct course.
Seems to have lost its sparkle. Service was unenthusiastic, especially compared to nearby tables. Portions also have appeared to shrink but prices went up…
Still a fantastic meal with fantastic service!
Amazing service. I want to thank the waiter for keeping an item I left behind and contacting me.
Great attentive service and excellent food.
Amazing service, very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Excellent food as always…
My husband and I used to come here for date nights and dinner with friends before we had kids. This time we came for a celebratory dinner with our two children. Our 11 year old just graduated from elementary school. The food was delicious, our server was very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was lovely. I purposefully made an early reservation (5:30 pm), so as not to infringe on the date/adult crowd that fills up by 7pm. However, when we arrived we were greeted by a sour-faced young hostess who seemed annoyed by my request for a table inside. She was trying to put us in the sidewalk seating, which on an 80 degree day as the sun is shining, can be quite hot. She told us she needed to see if she could accommodate us. Since the restaurant had just opened at 5, there was plenty of indoor dining available, but she made it seem like this was an unreasonable ask. Fortunately, her coworker (or perhaps manager), told her to seat us inside. We had a lovely meal, but the hostess did not even acknowledge us or say thank you, goodnight as we left.
This is a great local spot in Tribeca. We went for my daughter's 21st and it did not disappoint. The staff was very professional, and if you want serious wine advice you can speak with the sommelier. It is pricey and the food, although solid, no foodie is going to swoon. That being said, it's more of a guarantee that you will get good food, great service and in a fun part of Tribeca.
Muy buen restaurante y tienen opciones para gente Gluten free
Excellent pasta, NY strip and salads. The halibut was fresh and well prepared.
Gabby was extremely proactive and friendly. Two thumbs up from the minute we walked in. The food was outstanding. Highly Recommend !
