Great environment, outstanding service and excelente food
We were disappointed with Laco da. The lasagna was cold and had to be sent back. The spaghetti bolongnese had very little taste. The waiter failed to offer us bread.
The meal we had was so good! We had the risotto special with braised beef. A good amount of beef was included and the combination was a good amount such that i had leftovers. We also had the tagliatelle and sausage which was also very good. Both had perfect flavors. The service was definitely good as well. Highly recommend and we will be back. Maybe my favorite Italian restaurant right now that is a nice neighborhood spot.
Really great dinner though I’ve had better bolognese, Bruschetta outstanding. Pastas delicious.
Went on Christmas night. They were busy but handled it without issue. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Loved the Crostini!
It was a delightful visit, our server John was outstanding. We will be visiting again soon.
Food was excellent. Waiter was engaging and on top of his game.
Emily was amazing , food was great and thank you for a great experience, looking forward to come back.
One of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Absolutely a hidden gem. Consistently great food and extremely affordable prices.
I can see why this restaurant is considered a neighborhood gem. We dined early, and though we didn’t need a reservation, you definitely would if dining after 6:00. The food was very good. We had the halibut piccata and the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and sausage. Both were delicious and fresh. The butter lettuce salad was wonderful but I was a bit disappointed in the fritto misto appetizer, a mixture of fried seafood and vegetables which had a disproportionate amount of items and the shrimp seemed off. That said, I would definitely return. The service was outstanding and it looked like there’s a nice patio for summer dining. We never felt rushed and our server put each course in separately so we could enjoy a leisurely dinner.
My fav Italian restaurant. Even honored my table request from OTable note without my asking. Great food and wine.
Had a great time as always with a group of friends for good food & conversation!!
Very efficient service and amazing food.
The gnocchi was amazing as well as the cioppino. We have visited a few times and are always happy when leaving but wondering why we don’t visit more regularly!
Great neighborhood spot for excellent Italian food.
Celebrate the holidays and fun with friends at a wonderful restaurant
Great service! Tasty food!
Food was cold but will come back
This casual Italian eatery is wonderful. Our waiter was knowledgeable and charming. The food was delicious! We will definitely return. So much fun!
Sarah our server is incredible
Delicious food, great service -a little loud.
Amazing food and service!
First time patron. Server Raul was funny, efficient and attentive. He made our dining experience very enjoyable. Food was excellent. Best test for good Italian food for me is to try the Bolonese and it was delicious. Gnocchi and hangar steak were also excellent. Would highly recommend!
Had dinner here last night, it was awful. Ordered the seafood risotto and it tasted like overpowering almost-bad seafood flavor, really disgusting. Told the server it was not great. Didn’t eat more than three bites. She was snotty about it, still charged for it unapologetically. Overall our dinner with our family was over $200, I have never left a bad review for a restaurant before, but this place deserves a bad review. Disgusting entree and terrible service.
Great atmosphere for a weeknight date spot. Menu had great options and the server was super helpful with recs. Can’t wait to go back!
The food is very good. The ambience is quiet and dark which is relaxing. The service here is hit or miss. We have had good servers and we have had so-so ones. The bartenders are always good.
Salmon and Porkchop entrees were great, we would definitely be back
This is an Italian staple in the Hilltop neighborhood. The food is exceptional, filling but not heavy. My "go to" dish is the Chicken Milanese. Or try the daily Risotto. Atmosphere is relaxed and service is efficient. Love it!
Excellent service and all the food was very good. Ravioli, lasagna, and chicken parm were great. And good selection of good wines at good prices.
I love this little restaurant and would die for their superb seafood salad, which I have every time I go there!
Love this neighborhood spot. Never disappointed. Will go again soon.
Excellent food, as always, and very nice service.
They could use tablecloths, though, as good Italian restaurants do. One or two bucks to wash them wouldn't put a slightest dent on the costs.
Locanda is a hidden gem. It's just far enough off the beaten path that we can slip in on a quiet night and get reservations the morning of on busy weekend evenings. The staff is friendly and upbeat and give you the feeling that you are among family. The food is fresh and uncomplicated, relying not on heavy sauces but on a delicate blend of herbs and seasoning to create the right balance and enhance each dish in the most delightful ways.
Four of us shared a delicious charcuterie board and I had pasta with clams, mussels and shrimp. The butter and wine sauce was a hit.
Dinner was fabulous - I think the music was a bit too loud.
Great neighborhood spot. Great food, drinks and service. Crestmoor- Hilltop gem.
Its always a good meal but as people are venturing out again its gotten crowded and very noisy. I don't like having to yell to my friend across the table...
Great service and food. Recommend it highly! The seafood salad was delicious!
For was very good and reasonably priced. Nice neighborhood restaurant!
John our waiter was prompt and courteous. Food was great as always. Atmosphere was awesome out on the closed in deck.
