Chef Christopher Barnum-Dann's constantly changing, inspired and unique food highlights the region's best ingredients. A thoughtful wine list, attentive and knowledgeable service and passionate culinary team will make your dining experience one to remember. Localis offers seating at our Chef's Counter or in the dining room. If you have a preference, please note in the Special Request box. Vegan/vegetarian substitutions and dishes are always available. Modifications to the chef's tasting menu are always accepted if requested at least 24 hours prior to the reservation.

We understand something was going on this night. The service was not good. We don’t often go out and spend this kind of money so it was disappointing.

Wonderful! We sat at a high top and could watch everything going on in the kitchen. Great place to sit! The food was amazing, and the portions on the tasting menu were just right, enough to fill you up, but not so much that you feel stuffed. We will definitely be back!

Service was as slow as can be. My table of 4 all ordered from the a la cart menu and our dining experience took well over 2.5 hrs. Food was average. The lamb dish was super acidic, way too much lemon. I appreciate the vision of the dishes but they lacked execution.

We were greeted with complimentary Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary and we ordered the 5 course tasting menu with the wine pairing. The wine pairings were spot on and the food was good. The only negative was that the experience felt overpriced for what we got and the ambience felt like we were eating on backyard patio with stucco walls.

Every single course of our seven-course meal was on point, perfectly cooked. My wife couldn't eat a few of the ingredients so a few of her courses were made to accommodate, and her meal was exceptional as well. The service was excellent. We were sitting next to the open kitchen, and I was impressed how calm they all were! Not frantic, no yelling.

The 7 course Chef menu was outstanding. Chris and his staff outdid themselves. We have always had amazing dinners at Localis, but last night was over the top. We brought a friend with us and as we were driving home he said he loved the dinner and sitting at the counter was an amazing experience. He's a widower and is somewhat uncomfortable going to fine dining restaurants by himself...but, not anymore.....at least at Localis.

Interesting and excellent dishes. Loved the grilled octopus, duck l’orange, and Wagyu steak with truffle sauce. Enjoyed the wine pairing too. Only disappointment was the puff pastry in the cauliflower first course. We would definitely go again.

Pet peeve: especially at a high priced and elegant restaurant! The waiter continually interrupted deep conversation during the meal to see if we needed anything. This also included once while having food and the fork in my mouth. As though that was a check box that needed checking by the server. It is remarkable easy, in such a restaurant, to signal the waiter if something is needed. Waiters should be largely invisible and observant for such signals for assistance and never interrupt simply because a certain amount of time has passed between touches.

Slow - took about 30 mins to get our wine when we sat down. Food was amazing. The chef is a genius. But service could have been a lot better.

The food on the Chef’s Tasting menu was absolutely amazing. Who knew that carrots could be so delicious! Service was great. The restaurant was a little cozy, but noise was never an issue.

Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, a romantic date night, or just for a great meal.

Most exciting foodie Valentine’s Date in 10yrs together was so worth the splurge! I did the wine pairings & was very impressed with how perfect they were paired Smh how they enhanced each other especially with the rabbit & dessert dishes. We skipped getting xtra caviar on the 1st course but we both got fresh truffle shavings on our beef dish and got our first fix. Neither of us would get truffle shavings again unless the chef or reviews overwhelmingly say that it enhanced the dish.

Dessert-the dessert wine pairing was the bomb. The dried orange was too bitter but otherwise beautiful dessert.

VIP YOU MUST CONFIRM RESERVATION THE DAY BEFORE OR YOU WILL BE CANCELLED!!!! I almost lost mine because I didn’t!
I’d go back for only very special occasions as it is pricy!! But so worth the experience. It was fun to sit at Chef’s counter but very noisy. Staff very friendly! Not a snooty vibe at all!

WOW. This place lived up to the hype. Absolutely delicious food. Everything we had was incredible, from the grilled bread to the perfectly flavored crunchy Thai salad to the duck breast. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and watching all of the magic happen in the open kitchen. Service was a bit discombobulated—twice the chef himself had to remind our server to give us appropriate silverware, and they brought over the wrong wine. Nonetheless a fabulous meal and we’ll be sure to return.

We had so much fun at Localis. The vibe was upbeat and playful. Staff and guests were friendly. We enjoyed the seven-course paired chef's menu immensely. We didn't feel rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed every bite and sip. Can't wait to go back.
