    Great service and ambiance. My only recommendation is a lunch menu with lunch portions. The food is good but it’s the same menu for lunch and dinner so it’s a bit expensive for lunch.

    Waitress was upbeat and friendly. She checked back often but didn’t rush us. I wish you had a gluten free menu so I didn’t have to ask about each item I wanted to order…….or a statement of which items can be prepared gluten free. All in all we had great meals.

    Food has always been really good in all previous visits but was sub par this time. The Cuban Caesar salad had stale tostone croutons and dry grilled chicken breast. Hopefully this was just a one off time since I really like this place and and plan on returning.

    The servers were so accommodating for my son, daughter in law and baby granddaughter. It’s a new spot for them and they’ll definitely be back! Food was great! Love the ambiance!

    The food and our wait staff were fabulous. We had a party of 3 with a reservation and they seated us at a table for 10 which we questioned and assured it would be fine. 45 min after we got there We had just received our food and ordered a 2nd drink when the maître d’ came to our table and asked us to hurry up because she needed the table for another party?!? They would move us to another table if we didn’t finish. I have never felt so pushed to chug my drink and wolf my food down. Sad experience because we would have ordered another course, dessert and drinks but left and went to another restaurant to spend money and finish the night.

    Had a special night with fiancé at Sol. Food was amazing & tasty. Prices were reasonable. Food portions were generous. Atmosphere was relaxed & fostered a romantic vibe. We were dining inside, so don’t know what outside seating is like. On this night, it got a little busy in there so service got a tad slow…but overall, it was good & friendly. It’s great spot to catch delicious food & have relaxed conversation; and then go explore downtown Willoughby. Would love to be there when the live music is performing. Highly recommend! Thanks Sol!

    Both the drinks and food were awesome. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts starter - soooo yummy. Our server was attentive and everything was prompt. Great dining experience.

    We usually enjoy eating here but this past Saturday was just not great. We had a reservation and sat at our table for close to 40 minutes before we were even acknowledged by a server. There was a lack of urgency across the entire restaurant. Other tables were in the same situation, with some other tables leaving due to lack of service. The food was delicious, as always, but we would have appreciated some sort of acknowledgment of our wait since it was excessive. The staff at the bar was attentive to guests sitting over there, so maybe next time, we will just try to grab a seat there.

    A few years ago I didn't have the best experience and Sol wasn't on my radar but after going again a few times recently I'm impressed. Not sure if it changed hands, new management, new chef or what but everything I've had the past two occasions has been great. Will be coming again often.

    Awful experience, at one point we didn’t even know who are server was we even made a reservation and we still wait 10 mins or so for someone to greet us . The food was the best part. I did order a margarita at the beginning of the night, it was awful. Another one of the servers said she would bring me another one, that never happened. Things happen I get it, at the end of the night one of the servers took the drink off the bill when I asked about it. I didn’t feel like a priority when we were at the table. We felt neglected and as if we were bothering every server who walked passed our table to ask for something. Won’t be back for a while.

    The appetizers were very very good. Had the special for the night, the rib eye. It was done perfect. The other three people that got the rib eye though, all were overdone. The other special for the night , a chicken dish was excellent. It was very disappointing though that the bar ran out of everything. Certain whiskeys they ran out of, Titos vodka and Pinot Grigio. Poor planning on that part.

    Food was good, although a tad pricey for what it was. Service was great, although our meals didn't come out at the same time for a table of 6. We also dined later on a Friday and there was live music, which was nice, but far too loud for a dining crowd trying to converse.

    Love the food and our server was great. Way too dark to read a menu, as several other diners used phone lights to read it. And it is noisy.

    We came for a quiet brunch and ended up getting seated directly next to the musician. I wish before we had gotten seated (he was not quite set up yet) we had been told "There is going to be live music, is it ok to sit this close?" Had we known and had the option, we would have asked to be seated away, in a quieter section of the restaurant. His music was good, but we wanted to talk/catch up and were unable to because of the noise level. The little I did speak, I ended up having to yell across the table. Maybe in the future if there is live music, before seating guests mention it, and give them the option to sit close to it or further away. Aside from that, service and food was good. But hard to get over the loud music in our ears...

    The server was great and so we're the drinks. 😀 I didn't care for the dish I ordered for breakfast... loads of potatoes topped with very little scrambled eggs and bacon pieces, way too much liquid white cheese. 😔

    This is the second time I have been to Sol, both times for Sunday brunch. I think it is my favorite destination in my area. Food is fantastic, drinks are wonderful, the energy is fun and festive and the seating is great. I would highly recommend it!

    Our dinner at Sol was so special! Our server was friendly, helpful with information and suggestions, and she accommodated our requests. There was live music there that evening and it was top notch! I would DEFINITELY recommend going.

    Brody (spelling?) was our waiter. This guy made sure to check on us in a timely manner, was beyond polite, and always had a smile on his face. It’s refreshing to go out and get a good server. Please thank this dude, as he truly made our dining experience enjoyable.

    We came prime time on a Friday night. It took a little bit longer than expected for drinks to arrive to the table, but these days it’s expected. Everyone is so short staffed that we are more than happy to wait! Our waitress was very Good and the drinks from the bar or phenomenal. The food of course did not disappoint! Can’t wait to come back again soon!
