Established in 2013, the Local Seasonal Kitchen is located in Ramsey, New Jersey. The elegant dining room is decorated with contemporary artwork, soft lighting, and drapery, trendy centerpieces and a wall of fame that has been covered with framed newspaper and magazine articles that have recognized the famous restaurant.

Exterior signage needs to be lit at night , barely found the place in a non descript strip mall. Interior was nicely decorated although tables were quite close together. Appetizers and entrees were excellent, especially octopus and scallops. Presentation and service also good, kitchen a little slow but it was a crowded Saturday night. . Desserts were the least impressive although my wife was excited about a gluten and dairy free item.... Overall would highly recommend, byob saved a little money but still pricey.

The perfect spot to enjoy an amazing dining experience, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion. The chef is an alchemist with his preparations of both meats and vegetables; the ambiance is perfect for enjoying both the food and the company, and the wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but never pushy. One of the best pure food experiences in Bergen County!

The food does not disappoint! Great quality albeit skimpy portions. The prices have become a bit ridiculous for NJ - $48 for venison or steak. Think that's a tad high for a strip mall restaurant.

RIP, LSK. We came here once a week and I'm saddened that this was my last visit. Sorry Joan that everything came to the end that it did. Best to all who made the couple years of my life more enjoyable.

We love this restaurant. The portion size is perfect and the food is superb. I got the lobster appetizer with dried cherries and apricots and a pear puree. What a wonderful combination!
We were four, brought our own wine - always welcome - and were delighted with what we ate.
Desserts were also wonderful, not too sweet, and just the right size.

The food is excellent and the owners are available for an occasional chat. The chef worked in NY kitchens and I'm amazed at the wait staff training. Some of the wait staff are young men and women, but they are trained to serve on a professional level. This is a rare delight in the suburbs. The price is higher than the typical NJ fare, but it's priced right for the level of service and cuisine.

Local is a few miles from our house and we can not find one fault. This visit to Local was the 10th time we didn't travel to nyc because this place is so good. Local is better than Saddle River Inn, which is excellent. Local crushes Panache, which is okay. Local is better than Esty Street, which we really do likev and is more romantic.

Go to Local. It's shockingly good. I keep wanting to find one thing wrong but this past meal was one of the best I've ever had there.

This was our fourth time at LSK. Obviously, we've been quite happy with our previous experiences there or we would not have returned. This time, things seemed to be slipping in execution. Had the egg raviolo appetizer many times previously. This time it wasn't the same. Not sure why, but didn't live up to the usual quality. My wife's salad (a special) was not that great either. The chicken had an odd taste. The mains were just OK. Dessert, formerly a strength at LSK, was very disappointing. And the espresso tasted burnt. Service was OK, but not particularly friendly. Have had better experiences before. It's sad, but we may not return again due to this experience. We were there for a special occasion and it was a big disappointment, especially given our past, positive experiences.

This is the second visit to the Local and it was a wonderful experience. The food was cooked to perfection and all courses were amazing. I would highly recommend the Local to all who appreciate terrific food, great service and an overall great dining experience.

I like the fact that the food is not only delicious but also presently very nicely. The portions are large and so are the prices. The quality is excellent. The seasonal changes to the menu make it different every visit. The storefront location is a bit of a turnoff. BYOB is a plus and there is a liquor store in the strip mall.
