Local 11ten Food & Wine Ratings and Reviews
Ambiance is terrific. Service was excellent. Prices were high but what you would expect for a restaurant of this caliber. But, the food was not what one expects for a restaurant of this caliber. The food was bland, underwhelming and not what one expects to get for the prices charged. It’s to bad, the place deserves to have better food since everything else about it is great. I would not go back.
My daughter and I were in Savannah for the wine and food festival. We tried to get into an event and it was sold out and I am so happy it was. We went to dinner instead and from the moment we were greeted until the moment we left everything was wonderful and the staff was helpful and friendly
Never Disappoints. We make a point to go to Local11Ten every time we come to Savannah. The food is always delicious and the service is good. They also have a good cocktail and wine list. The outdoor rooftop bar is a great place to start your dinner as well.
Have eaten at this restaurant several times but tbis must have been an off night. Three out of the four of us were very disappointed. I had the rabbit ballantine which had the consistency of spam. It did not taste like anything in particular and was off-putting. Another diner had elk shank which he found gamey.
My feeling is that this restaurant really wants to push the envelope in being different but would fare better if they served meals that were more "normal" instead of out of the park experimental.
Took several clients out to dinner here, 9 of us total. The restaurant made that work and provided a great atmosphere in which to dine. Our group can be loud so I requested a table as far back as possible, which is great as it was the only big table available to host us. The group all started with different salads, but the most popular was the Poached Pear Salad which was fabulous. For the main course it was Hanger steak, Filet, Scallops, Bass and more. No one ordered dessert as we were so full. The wine selection was outstanding and the service was even better. Recommend you Uber to find this place and get out of the downtown Savannah tourist area. You won't be disappointed.
We stumbled on this restaurant after a long 8-hour drive to Georgia. We are so glad. The food is creative and delicious. So when we returned this Fall with friends and family we made Local 11ten our first night out. They loved it too. When we return to Savannah we’ll be back.
The menu was limited and had only 2 fish options. Having rabbit, elk, and pheasant on the menu is not appealing to me but may be for others.
The sides were mediocre and overall the food was above average but not nearly as good as it has been in the past.
Still it was a very nice evening. Our cocktails were delicious, the service was good and it is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere.
The food was fantastic and so inventive. The wine list was a little narrow but since it is a smaller establishment that is understandable. The wine we did order was outstanding. Service was very friendly but not intrusive. I will definitely go back when visiting Savannah again.
This was our second visit to Local 11ten. It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. Our sever was extremely courteous and provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food was beautifullly prepared and presented. The wine list is also first class. My only complaint is that I do not live in Savannah and therefore cannot go back often enough to this hidden gem of a restaurant.
The atmosphere and the level of service were excellent! The food however, was not worth the price. The ossobuco was good, but for $40 I expect it to be awesome. It was dry and the sweet potato fingerlings were presented in a chip fashion, which didn’t match the dish. The rabbit was also good, but extremely sweet and on the dry side as well. It was a lovely date, but the value just wasn’t there.
This was our first visit to Local 11 ten. Overall, the food was good but Pacing was very poor. Charcuterie appetizer was very good, but toasted
Baguette was soggy at best and not very toasted.
The veal t-bone requested medium rare was overdone. The chef's choice beef, a grilled ribeye was very tasty although accompaniments were only so so.
This was truly a fun dining experience at the Local 11Ten, a very well run restaurant. We sat at the bar where we had a wonderful view of the interior (beautiful) and the friendly way they greeted patrons coming and going. The bartender was very informative and the service was impeccable. The food creative and fabulous! Will be going back soon!
I loved every bit of my dining experience at Local 11ten. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and were treated well by all the staff. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the menu that evening, explaining where the restaurant sources their ingredients, and giving us suggestions based on our tastes. This restaurant is a must-try if you are in Savannah.
The restaurant was outstanding. I was in Savannah for a girls weekend and it was all of our favorite meal. The ambiance was wonderful, our server was amazing, and the food was excellent. I cannot say enough good things - if you are debating between Local 11ten and the Gray - please go to Local 11ten, its so much better!
We enjoyed several restaurants while in Savannah, and this 1 was hands-down the best. We had the chef's tasting and could not have been more pleased. The food and service was exceptional. And then to top off the evening enjoying a heavenly glass of wine on their beautiful rooftop patio, perfect.
We got to Savannah right before hurricane Irma, everyone was leaving town, trying to evacuate. This restaurant was my sons recommendation. Worth every penny!!! Delicious food, friendly staff, didn't feel at all the pressure of hurricane. Definitely will come back to Savannah and visit this restaurant!!!
We very much enjoyed our experience at local 11ten. This was our second experience and was just as beautiful as the first. The servers are very professional, discrete and intuitive, showing up at the right moment. The ambiance is so elegant I found it hard to witness guests in shorts and flip flops but perhaps this is the Southern way.
Could have been so much more: let's get to the point, while my husbands steak was delicious, my own dinner was weak. It started with being served an iced tea that looked like black coffee and tasted very bitter. I asked the waiter if they could just dilute it with water and he indicated that it was already diluted and that I should select something else. OK. Caesar salad was good but loaded with lots of garlic..fair warning. I chose scallops and requested they be well done. I also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts. The result was underdone scallops and overdone sprouts. The sprouts tasted like they were deep fried and microwaved all at once...totally inedible. On a lighter note the mac and cheese was good. Won't be back unless I am wanting steak..a ribeye, that is.
This is the best meal we have ever had in savannah - it was absolutely perfect! I enjoyed the chicken roulette, while my guests enjoyed the pork chop special and duck. We selected the creamed corn and macaroni and cheese as sides - all amazing! Finally, the wine list had good offerings in every price range.
