Local 11ten Food & Wine

Wow. This made my trip to Savannah one to remember. We definitely ordered too much food, as the portions were very generous. At the price point, and option for a tasting menu, we assumed the portions to be about half of what was given. (Pleasant surprise!)
We had quail and a pork trio for our mains, marrow for the starter, and three cheeses and olives in the beginning. (You could get by with just one of the first three and 2 mains for two people).
I hate olives. The brine and seasoning is just bitter and turns me away...I've never liked olives. But these. Wow. They were in a broth, warm, and I couldn't stop eating them. They tasted like olive oil and had a mild earthy flavor. Bravo for focusing on the natural flavor of an olive, and I would pay to have the broth recipe!
The cheeses were interesting, and the bread was oiled and seasoned. The marrow, amazing. Served in a meaty french onion like broth. By the time the mains came, we were stuffed, but of course continued to eat. The flavor, heat, acid, and texture combinations were well thought out, and you could see the passion from everyone in the kitchen in the food.
Service....every restaurant should be trained here. You barely notice employees around, but my water was always full, wine being topped off, napkins being folded, new flatware, and just pleasant smiles and attention to detail.
Great food and service!! They were prepared for us and made it special for us!!
We had a truly outstanding tasting course here on a busy Saturday night. We were struggling to think of a better meal that we had had in our lives. Every ingredient (including the humble peanut, barley grain, and radish) was treated with respect. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
GreT spot loved everything about it
We were in town to run the Savannah marathon and we came here for our celebration dinner. The food was amazing. Our server was awesome. It was the perfect place for us to have dinner. Everyone loves their meals!
We opted for the four-course dinner with wine pairing. We have done this type of dinning in many restaurants throughout the country. Some locations are better than others. Local 11 Ten gets an 85% rating from us. The food, especially the scallop appetizer, was better than average. The server for some inexplicable reason delivered the food before serving the wine pairing for that course. Most, if not all other restaurants, serve the wine while giving you a narrative about the wine and the food to be served. They don't do it the other way around and talk to you while the food is getting cold. IT JUST DIDN'T MAKE SENSE TO US! The price for the wine pairing is a little higher than most for the same experience but not high enough to quibble about it.
Wonderful evening. Out of town friends with good experience dining out in other cities were very impressed with this restaurant. Food offerings, wine list, wait staff made this a very enjoyable experience.
Had a Fantastic and unique meal here in a girl’s trip to Savannah. Recommendation of a local shop owner. One of our favorite dinners during our visit.
The mussels were fabulous! Large enough starter to share.
My husband & I love this restaurant! The menu is seasonal and always interesting, so we decided to celebrate my mother in laws birthday here. My in laws live in Savannah part time with their permanent residence in CA. So, this was their first experience at Local 11Ten. The evening was a quiet one in the restaurant which made for easy conversations to take place, the amuse bouche was delicious and immediately impressed them. We then ordered our meals starting with appetizers to be followed by salads and entrees. The apps were outstanding and the meal continued to impress my in laws. However, after the apps our entrees arrived. Yes, before the salads :( To further add insult to injury the waiter had also neglected to order one of the sides we’d ordered. The manager came over as our entrees were being served and apologized for the error and offered us free dessert. Overall the meal was a success, but the service sure could’ve been a whole lot better.
This place is amazing. My boyfriend and I spent the night in Savannah at an Airbnb just across the street from Local. I made a reservation that night. So glad they had a table available. Everything was just perfect, from the moment we walk through the doors. The food was so delicious and the service was exceptional. Even though this was a high end restaurant, the fact that we both wore jeans never seemed to be an issue. Our server was just the best, well knowledged and fun. One of the best meals we have ever enjoyed, and we are both foodies. For a small place it was loud, but that certainly doesn’t take anything away from Local. We were so into our own conversation that it didn’t t really matter at all. Definitely give this place a try.
We have been dining at Local 11Ten for at least ten years and still love the menu and the setting but the kitchen has slipped the last two times we have been there. The starters, salads etc. remain very good and the main course protein is fine but the plating is amateurish and the accompaniments to the protein were like an after thought.
We go to Savannah to visit 2x/yr and have tried many restaurants, I believe this is the best restaurant in Savannah among many high quality restaurants.
Food and service were amazing!!!
Found a great place off of the beaten path in Savannah! Cannot wait to return!!
The service was very slow, the food was served lukewarm, we had to ask repeatedly for water refills
The fall menu is incredible!!!
Surprise roof-top bar & live music. Great ambiance and our server made us feel comfortable - never rushed.
Local never disappoints.
After 7 years and a lot of dining, its still my favorite place in SAV.
Wonderful experience. Our dinner was superb great ambiance and decor. The food was excellent and our server was friendly kind and knowledgable
As always, outstanding food, service and ambiance. The table side follow up of the manager was attentive and appreciated, as were the food and drink suggestions. THANK YOU!
The restaurant was well worth going to. The serving staff was knowledgeable and knew the best choices on the menu.
Started the meal with a perfect 50/50 Martini from the bar. Caesar salad was excellent. Scallop and Fish entrees were both very nice plates. Very good assortment of wines by the glass. Nice way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Good coffee and sweet bite to finish the meal.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Took 11 people for a bday dinner, the waiter was very knowledgeable
Food was delicious. Ambiance enjoy-
We loved our entire experience. Everything about this restaurant is so great!
This was a late choice for us - we had most of our dining choices laid out for a 4-day anniversary celebration in Savannah, but not having been here before we were not sure about navigation to a place on arrival day. We found Local 11ten on Trip Advisor and noticed it is pretty close to the inn where we were staying so we were confident we could get there easily. We arrived to find a smallish, stylish place, very quiet and comfortable. Our waiter was very attentive and had a complete grasp of the menu to answer our questions without reference to any notes. His service was just right, checking in appropriately but otherwise giving us space to enjoy our dinner. My wife and I each chose a nightly feature (grouper for me, a ribeye steak for her) so we cannot comment on the standard menu, but our choices were well prepared and tasty. The steak was huge so my wife had to share a portion with me (darn!) and I rarely get steak out because we do it so well at home. But this one was great - a nice deep char on the outside with a nice red center inside. A nice lady welcomed us on the way to our table and on the way out - I assumed she is the owner, and she has a nice thing going with this restaurant. One more comment - my cocktail was a Manhattan, but the vermouth was infused with espresso, and that was a uniquely good cocktail. I would go back, and I would recommend.
We ordered the 4 course chef tasting with wine. The wine pairing was phenomenal. Plating is very pleasing. The main courses though was quite a disappointment. The duck was chewy. The scallop was salty. The beef fillet was not cooked the way we requested. We ordered medium rare and medium well. We got well done.
Food was excellent. Filet and Swordfish entree!
Service was wonderful, no rush given plenty of time between courses
We went up to the roof to have drinks before dinner. It was a Wednesday night and very quiet, but I have been here during peak season and on weekends when the venue is full. There are comfy sofas and during the summer, electric fans provide some relief from Savannah's heat. The cocktail menu has a fun selection of drinks and the wine list is comprehensive. I love the warm olive appetizer and the cheese plate--you can get them for nibbles while enjoying drinks. Much of the food is locally sourced. The Caesar salad contains lovely fresh greens and anchovies are an option! The stuffed squash blossoms are a yummy appetizer. My husband gave high ratings to the hangar steak with duck fried potatoes. It was a big portion and just as good for lunch the next day. The seating in the dining room is comfortable with cushioned banquets along the walls and padded chairs opposite. There are two dining rooms and an old vault converted in to a semi private dining area. On busy nights, request seating in the main dining room with its modern vibe and windows overlooking Bull Street.
Excellent restaurant. The food was exceptional. A great way to send our daughter off to college!
Service overall was excellent. Not a single person in our party was disappointed with their dish. The scallop dish was absolutely fantastic, and the steak was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were just right, so you are easily able to enjoy multiple courses, from appetizer to dessert. The Baked Alaska was perfection. a beautiful experience you will not regret.
Birthday dinner on vacation. Very good overall!
Pehaps the only conteporary option in town, seems to work out well for them. Delicious food! It is worth the visit if you are here.
Always love their drinks, food and service
This restaurant was such a disappointment. Clearly word has spread as it was empty on a Thursday evening. The food was dreadful - we returned two plates. I will never go back
My husband and I made a reservation at Local 11ten to celebrate our anniversary. We had never eaten there and didn’t know what to expect. The restaurant is in a nice neighborhood that feels very safe. We got an easy parking spot in their parking lot (a real plus in Savannah) and found the restaurant to be very stylish and contemporary. Our waiter, Tyler, was very attentive and enjoyable. Our dinner began with a corn bisque that was delicious. From there, we both had the fish, that was perfectly cooked. We took our wine up to the roof to enjoy our dessert. The rooftop bar is totally magical, with lighted planters and string lights. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend Local 11ten for a great night out.
Great restaurant, atmosphere was active, fun and enjoyable. Food was delicious and the server we had made our dining experience wonderful. Wine list is outstanding. Just a top notch place to dine.
Fantastic, absolutely perfect in every way!!!!
My wife had a marvelous birthday dinner. Thank you!
