Loca Luna Rita

Guacamole, Queso, or Salsa
Been coming here for years. Never disappointed
Loca luna change their menu and it is no longer a Spanish restaurant. The dishes are primarily Mexican, with things like tacos, quesadillas, burritos, chips and salsa.
I feel that by trying to be everything to everyone, they've lost identity. Probably my last visit
I Loved It for my first experience definitely will be back!!!!
We have been going to brunch at Loca Luna for 3-4 months now and have enjoyed the service and atmosphere every visit we request to sit in Ronnie’s area because he is phenomenal server with an astounding personality if I had to have one negative thing to say it would be the host has an undesirable attitude or personality but don’t take it personal it’s just him
Vibrant ambiance and very spacious restaurant. Plenty tapas to choose from and good drinks. Ample parking. Love the Live Latin band.
Drinks were a bit weak, watered down but the atmosphere and music were great, food was pretty good. I would go back with friends
There was no wait time and the atmosphere was very energetic. The food was good and the drinks was on point. The overall experience will keep me coming back with friends and family.
The food was great. The atmosphere and ambience was also great. The service however was the worst I’ve experience. When we were finally seated at our table, several tables around us who were seated after us were served water before we were. The waitress took forever to make first contact and interaction. Every interaction after that was few and far between. Otherwise things were good and everything but the service was good.
Another great time
Horrible experience. Food was sub par and the restrooms were flooded
Since the food comes out at different times (tapas) it's important that the right people get the right things and everyone at first has something to eat. Awkward that the waiters are all different and dont know who got what - sometimes they'd come around with only 1 of something that 4 of us ordered and we had to pick who got it. There was multiple plates that never made it out. The overall atmosphere is very good, the band is a huge factor, and easy to sit large parties.
Had a great time server was friendly and attentive and loved the Cuban house band most of all!
Me and my husband had an awesome time, per usual. We have been coming here since 2012! The mojitos are the best around and the patio is amazing year round. One of my favorite servers took care of us, Ronnie, and gave us phenomenal service and conversation. One of the managers, David, paid us several visits and took great care of us as well. The band, Macuba, is awesome and plays the best live salsa in ATL. I also noticed the food is even better than it was before, and I was told they have a new chef! We will be back soon.
I Loved the Resturant Quiet Service was Awesome and we were given Free Drinks because of Table Mix Up. It is off the beaten path Fantastic Night.
The service was poor..we had to keep asking our server for refills and for food that we ordered...he only had two tables to attend to..also, I was told that I couldn’t bring my child’s empty sippy cup in...I understand safety precautions due to adults bringing in outside alcohol, however an EMPTY sippy cup with a child present should have been accommodated! Food was ok...😕
Most of the good was good. We didn't like the sangria at all! The place in general was WAAAY TOO LOUD. The band was wonderful, just too loud with the high-spirited crowd. Also, my husband waited 2 hours for french toast while or son was served his within 30 minutes! That was disappointing.
Absolute worst dining experience. Took my mother & grandmother out for lunch with reservations. We did not get served our drinks until 45 mins after they were ordered & that’s because I spoke to another server for assistance. The meals were brought another 45 mins later & at random. Some took 20 mins after that to arrive. Two of the meals for the table never even arrived. The server would blame everything on other factors instead of taking responsibility. We saw her several times just walking around & chatting with associates. When we spoke with management we were told that there is nothing they can do about it and kept asking what do we want. As if I was supposed to beg for a discount or something. As a manager myself, I am responsible for my employees & their actions. This “restaurant” & their team should focus on their nightclub business & let go of the daytime restaurant idea. $145, extremely late drinks & half assed food. Never will return.
We waited 40 minutes for just our drinks. Our waitress never came by to tell us why.
We waited nearly an hour just to put in our food order. No apologies.
We sat down at 12:30. I got my food at 2:00. No apologies.
The chicken, in the chicken and waffles, was full of tiny bones. It looked like it was going to boneless...like a chicken tender. Shocked to see it full of bones that We could’ve choked on.
The shrimp and grits were not even average. I will say the Mac n cheese was good.
No manager came by to apologize. Our waitress was indifferent....she knew she was getting a guarantee tip (because 6 or more people rule).
Great atmosphere and good service
Food was salty and spicy with no flavor especially the paella rice. There was a live band but they were a bunch of amateurs and vocals were really bad. I do not recommend this place.
service sucked and took wayyy too long. orders came out incorrect and compensations were not provided. i’ve been here multiple times before and had a completely different / muchhh better experience
We enjoyed our waiter’s suggestions and overall ambience of the outdoor patio
Our server Ronnie is/was and will forever be fantastic food was delicious as usual but the host has a nasty attitude and disposition get gone
Great food and service! I enjoyed every last bite!
We came for our friends birthday celebration. Brunch was so nice and our server, Alejandro, was the best! Thank you for hosting such an amazing start to our day. (:
The restaurant was very energetic; it gave more of a night club vibe. I enjoyed the live DJ and dancing at Loca Luna. This is definitely a place to go for a fun night out with friends. The food was not very good, and the portions were small. If you come here, you should eat beforehand.
Awesome atmosphere, good music, and great food
Absolutely no social distancing in place. Opened late. Waiter attempted to charge me for food I didn’t order.
The overall experience was good overall. However, we order a pitcher of top shelf patron margaritas but as a lover of patron I know they either gave us the house liquor or mixed it with house.
Our server was friendly and attentive! We’ll be back soon.
Service was horrible. We waited 30 mins for our someone to even acknowledge us. This was totally unacceptable. Hence the reason for no tip.
It was great i’d highly recommend!
DJ was trash
Bad service. Bad drinks. Bad food. Good atmosphere.
Little slow to get our drinks, but overall food and drinks were really good!
It used to be one of my favorite places but this Valentine's Day the service was terrible. Firstly, despite making the reservation we still had to wait (standing) to find a table. After getting the table the server took another 15 minutes to get our order for drinks. Then she comes back with only one drink because the other was not available. She messed up our food order and pinned it on us. She was dismissive and inattentive. We left early and needless to say the date was a disaster.
I understand Valentine's Day can be hard on the staff but as customers we come with certain expectations and the establishment let us terribly down.
Edit: we also didn't get any silverware or napkins. The whole experience was extremely disappointing.
It was like we were eating in a club. No face masks anywhere, the place was packed out. There was no 6ft social distancing and a dj was playing music so loud I couldn't hear my friend across from me. The host was extremely rude and tried to sit us in the middle of a packed covered patio. We had to literally get back up and wall back in to tell him I had reservations and we wanted to sit inside. Just a horrible dining experience and no COVID enforcing.
Excellent experience for tapas, ambience, live music!
