Tasty food, good service.
My husband and I had the most wonderful
Anniversary in the most beautiful restaurant. The food was freshly cooked and hot, so tasty, well presented and a pleasure to share together. The staff were friendly and so quick to respond to smile or a nod for attention. We will be making a little gem a very special place to “us” and will be returning for our next anniversary. Thank you Lobos.......
I'd arranged to meet a visiting American colleage here unfortunately he was extremely delayed. Despite this the restaurant manager accommodated our lateness. Food was very good for fast food tapas, service was on the ball. Downsides are:- 1) very small tables and 2) background music much too loud. Was difficult to have a conversation.
The food is superb, the staff very attentive and friendly, the place has a really good atmosphere. It is smaller than most venues and you have to hear trains rumbling over every now and then but this does not put you off. Would definitely recommend and will go again.
Very tasty and perfectly cooked food. The four of us had the sharing beef and pork dishes. Service was efficient and friendly. Cost was reasonable for the food, wine and location. The restaurant is in a railway arch but even so I thought it was still a little too gloomy in there.
Good atmosphere upstairs next to the open kitchen. It was a bit tight for space but was fine. Food was v good especially the pork platter and the sirloin. Not cheap but was enough for 4 together with the more traditional tapas plates.
This was our third visit to Lobos over a period of 2 or 3 years and it never fails to impress. The staff are super busy and work so hard, but everything they do is never too much trouble and is with a smile.
The food is very good and comes out in appropriate intervals to make the overall experience fantastic.
Hoping to find an excuse to be in London again in the coming months so we can pay another visit.
GREAT wine selection, we tried 3 before committing to a bottle. Cosy private booth upstairs too. The Octopus and steak were particular highlights.
Great service and the food was delish.
Really loved this restaurant. The food was amazing, great wine and service was great too.
Another fantastic meal at lobos and great service. Table next to us was ridiculously loud which was annoying but nothing you can do about that. We were next to the kitchen and loved it
We have been there once before and really loved the atmosphere, the food and the service. Dishes were fantastic and authentic. It might be a bit pricey but totally worth it!
Excellent pig! Great wine. A little too hot for comfort but the food is wonderful
This is one of the best tapas restaurants i have been too. The food is so fresh, and tastes amazing! We had the squid in rice with squid and prawns, which i would highly recommend. Its in a really good location too and the restaurant is really quirky!
Such a cool little restaurant that is a great spot for a date. All of the food was delicious, in particular the steak which was well worth the price. Definitely coming back here.
Lovely friendly staff, food and wine was very good, if a little pricy.
Fab. Ordered the steak sharing plate, salad and patatas bravas. All delicious. Service great, not intrusive. Staff knowledgeable about the menu and gave good advice. Best meal I’ve had out this year
The food was delicious but it took 20 minutes to be seated, despite booking a table and then another 20 minutes for our order to be taken, with nobody asking if we would like a drink in this time. Nice setting though.
Absolutely recommend. The tapas came in great portions and the waitress made sure to let us know whether we were ordering too much!
Really nice food. Great spot for a meal with plenty of options on the menu and staff who can make delicious recommendations.
My experience was very good. The only negative comment I can think of is the noise. Both Argentinean waiter/waitress were lovely and very kind to me and my friend =) Will def come back.
Great food, great service, great location! Order the pig cheeks - they are the business!
Absolute favourite date night spot. Food is always unreal and staff always happy to help!
The food at this place is great. It can be quite noisy depending on where you are sitting but that is the only negative comment.
Loved the ambience of the place, service was very nice and quick too ..
We thought the cheese board was a bit overpriced .. portions otherwise decent sized - in the end it was tapas !
Location was perfect ... would visit again and taste the bits we didn’t share on Saturday.
Quirky interior, food very good, great ambiance . Very near to London Bridge Station and the Shard, generally where located a real buzzy area of London.
Very enjoyable gathering with old friends. Food was all good, service excellent. Had a very nice rose although I felt it was expensive. Will choose drinks more thoughtfully next time. Will definitely go again.
Had a nice meal and the venue enhanced the experience. Good waiting staff
A really great evening, superb food, service with a wonderfully Spanish atmosphere to boot.
Fantastic meal, black rice and octopus was amazing
Lovely food and friendly attentive service
Fantastic food and wine! Great service. Highly recommend.
The food was amazing! I’m not one to write reviews! In fact this is my first ever but really enjoyed the whole experience. Great place to go for tapas.
Menu is a little narrow very meat driven which is fab if you are big carnivore. Disappointed that the lamb chops advertised on the online menus was not on the in-house menu but that was minor and didn’t detract from the other amazing food that was available and we had.
Definitely worth a visit. I’m lucky enough it’s a short walk from my office so will be doing another lunch time visit again without a doubt.
But must admit the food is not as fabulous as it was in the early days...
Been before and same amazing food, very tasty. Some dishes a little pricey. Very helpful attentive staff. Would definitely visit again
The food was great the service was fast and a friendly atmosphere. Loved the place !
The food on offer was a good reflection of the culinary empire that is Borough Market ; fresh, varied and very tasty. The service was friendly and helpful and there was a good atmosphere. Whilst the interior is interesting, it is a shame there is not room for more than tables for 2 upstairs. I could see this as a good place for larger groups with sharing platters. Wine is a little pricey. Overall a great place to try if you are visiting the adjacent market
Great food and really good staff but the service was a bit slow at times. No attempt made to offer more drinks throughout the evening and no offer of desert menu at the end of our meal. The restaurant was quite busy so perhaps it was down to the business. The staff were all really friendly and helpful once flagged down. And food was delicious. Well worth a visit.
Im glad I was able to book a table, the restaurant was pumping. The food was delicious and came out in perfect portions for me and two girlfriends. Our waiter was very helpful with suggestions and checked in every now and then to see if we needed top ups. The venue is small and cosy, perfect for a catch up with a 1-2 girlfriends or a date night. As the restaurant starter to fill up it did get a bit noisy however there was a buzz and the booths do give you a bit of privacy. We will be returning without a doubt.
A fantastic find only a minute away from London Bridge st. Service great from the welcome to the bill. Great food.Cant wait to go back
