Our waitress Diane was superb! Always smiling! Quietly attentive! Anticipating our needs! Would love to have her service EVERY time!
Food is ok. We went bc you could park once for dinner and the Fox but apparently they don’t do that anymore. The manager was quite rude about it when we asked. Not very impressive. Won’t be going back.
My wife and I had purchased tickets to a show at the Fox. We loved the fact that the restaurant was located directly across the street. We truly enjoyed our visit to the restaurant, and will return again. Thank you !
Great cocktails but food wasn’t very good.
Food was cold, service slow, very loud. We were not impressed with the dinner experience.
Pretty disappointing in service and food. Guess I had higher expectations for a higher end restaurant in a luxury hotel.
I love this place for the while Fox Theatre show experience!
Best Fox pre-show. Beet Salad, Lamb Shank, amazing. Brussel Spouts mediocre. Octopus over cooked. Service above average.
Our server, Eduardo, was attentive, professional and helpful as always. The veal chops were overdone and had to be replaced. Eduardo took care of it immediately but someone should have checked it before bringing it to the table since we had been clear that we wanted it medium rare.
Nite at the theatre. Great venue although on show night parking gets to be quite pricey at $30. Food and ambiance is delightful.
need many more alternative food choices, current choice are well done but only one choice from std 5 food groups
Perfect place to eat before a play at the fox. We enjoyed it very much.
Our server Oz WAS SIMPLY AMAZING. Honestly I would go back just for her. She wass soooo sweet❤️ she knew the menu, she kept checking on us. Didn’t make a single fuss when I didnt like my entree and recommended something even better! This was just the perfect anniversary and I’ll always remember. Southern hospitality at its finest.
I visited Livingston R&B for the first time for Sunday Brunch. It was a great experience! Our server Diana was most warm and friendly. The food was great; I will definitely be back!
I would come here again. It's a very beautiful location right across the street from the Fox Theater. Great for groups and they have private dining rooms upstairs where the bathrooms are located. Our food was great as well. I would return. I think we lucked out with it not being busy on a Saturday afternoon for brunch.
Gathered with friends. Make sure your chicken and waffles are hot. Veggie omelet was good. Sausage sandwich was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I would go back. Waitress was very attentive.
Our whole party was so disappointed. We wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean and elegant. The appetizers (pig wings and asparagus and cauliflower fries) we amazing. The service was great, we were one of only two other tables dining on a Friday night at 7pm which seemed odd. When we got the entrees and desserts we understood why. The fried chicken was really good according to one person in our party but three of us got the Rib Eye, which was the highest recommended item on the menu by the server. None of us liked it. The flavor was bland and quality of meat was not to par for this type of restaurant and for the pricing. The sides of potato wedges were very dry. Thinking dessert would be better we got four different desserts. Awful! The homemade ice creams were icy and grainy. The “Apple pecan pie” which was explained to us as really just apple pie with ice cream with one pecan on top
(Why?) was flavorful but I got one tablespoon of ice cream for the whole piece and it was very bready- not a crust and pie like you’d expect - it was more like a apple cobbler. I guess they need to take better care of their descriptions. The other dessert we ordered was their homemade ice cream which was icy and pasty.
The only reason I can’t give 5 stars overall is the incredibly high noise level - otherwise I love this place - very good food !!!
Excellent. Thank you. Loved our server!
There was a LIVE bug in my salad, enough said.
Before that was delivered, it took over 15 minutes for each beer to be delivered.
Sides - decent but that's on an average of the table. LEARN TO COOK A POTATO PROPERLY!
Not only did the server make sure we were there for the show, he made sure we were the last processed our payment.
The entire meal+"service" was absurdly overpriced for only the convenience to the Fox.
Don't bother, and walk a couple blocks elsewhere.
Our server was late so someone else started with our table and then anew server was given to our group. However we never saw her and there were no drink refills and actually getting the check to pay the bill before our theater event was next to impossible.
Great spot for dinner before the Fox... excellent service
We made reservations prior to attending a play at Fox Theater for Saturday Matinee. Were disappointed to find that a buffet was the only option for food in the restaurant. Will not plan to visit the restaurant at this time of day on the weekends in the future. Love it otherwise!
We made a pre-theater diner reservation at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm show across the street at the "Fox". We were seated promptly on arrival, and the waitstaff appeared immediately . Drink and dining orders were taken and our dinners arrived hot in less than fifteen minutes. We enjoyed a window seat with a view of the Moroccan styled entrance to the Fox theater. The restaurant was very busy and the noise level in the dining room was approaching uncomfortably loud. The food was delicious as were the specialty cocktails. We hadn't allowed enough time for dessert, as we closed out our bill with ten minutes to spare crossing the street for the show. The Georgian Hotel which houses the Livingston is a classic with history and style. Dinner for two with drinks was $125 plus gratuity.
Service was great and the pre-theater dinner was good. We were out in plenty of time for our show. Thank you for a lovely dinner
Pre-theatre dinner before The Book of Mormon
Dinner before Fox
we went there for our anniversary and both really enjoyed our meal. It was delicious. So much so that we went back for brunch on the sunday. Again the food was great! Too bad the bar only opens at 12.30. Diana our waitress was really great...we had her both times. Am sure we will be back!
The pre concert menu was limited. They brought out our dinners quickly, before our salad. Then the fish was fishy. And the side was cold. Overall very disappointing
Great food and service! A little pricey but for special occasions it is worth it!
Limited menu with great service!
Livingston's was an excellent choice for a business lunch. I met colleagues traveling from the northern ,southern and eastern suburbs, the location in midtown was central to all. I will host more business lunches at Livingstons in the future.
We had a somewhat rushed (earlier reservation times were all booked) pre-theatre supper before a show at The Fabulous Fox last Sunday evening. It's a very nice restaurant in our favorite hotel, The Georgian Terrace, in our favorite city, Atlanta. Our food was excellent. We had a Delmonico steak with potatoes, asparagus, and tomatoes, a bread basket with rolls and cornbread, and of course, sweet tea, y'all. lol The service was very quick, as we had requested, since we were worried about being late for the show. Our waitress was wonderful, but unfortunately, I have forgotten her name. So sorry. We had plenty of time to eat and enjoy our meal, after all! We even talked to some friends from home which were seated nearby! It was quite a noisy atmosphere, which I believe was because of the excitement from everyone heading to the show at The Fox. This was our first time in the restaurant, but, will not be our last. They also provided the room service breakfasts that we ordered during our hotel stay, and that food was excellent as well. The room service staff, Larry, Chris, and Kawsu, were all just great, and so very friendly, polite, and accommodating for my special breakfast orders, as well. It was all a wonderful experience! BTW, we hurried across the street to the theatre, where the show was half an hour late getting started! Wouldn't you know it! lol
Biggest issue was the restaurant was hot. Was offered to set up stairs.
I’ve heard about Livingston over the years but never had the occasion to dine there.
The crab/rice ball special appetizer was meh. The fried chicken was tough, over cooked and bland in flavor - VERY disappointing. Both of us ordered it and felt the same and I left a lot of it on the plate (and it was a small portion) it was that unenjoyable. The casserole served with it was boring - something anyone could throw together for a potluck dinner. It’s really a shame because the service was very good and the location is fantastic.
We have been here before and had a fantastic meal. This time was truly disappointing. The food was simply adequate, we had to keep asking for things like small plates and utensils and it was no where up to the quality that we had enjoyed before. With so many great restaurants in Atlanta, I doubt we'll be back.
We had a pre-Fox event dinner. We ordered the fried asparagus and “popcorn” cauliflower. It had a horseradish aioli that my husband described as “perfect” and “made by someone who loves and appreciates horseradish”. For me, it was a little strong. We each had a salad; me, the arugula salad which was a perfect summer salad, and he had the roasted beet salad which was quite earthy. I ordered the scallops and he had the trout. Both were delicious. We were too full to try dessert.
Everything was wonderful—great staff and food!!
We made the reservation online for 1:45pm and were told that the kitchen was closing at 2pm. We were rushed and treated as if it was an inconvenience for us to be there. The food was good but the service was terrible!
My wife and I dined here prior to a concert at the Fox Theatre. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. We arrived early and enjoyed drinks on the terrace overlooking Peachtree Street and the entrance to the Fox. My wife recommends the Frankly My Dear house cocktail.
