Food is great with good variety. Loved the burger. Surprising Milton Jewell for dining.

Allison was our server and she was spectacular - attentive as needed, excellent recommendations. The alligator was decent, unfortunately, the fish tasted as though the oil was ancient and not up to temperature when it was cooked. The chips that went with it were excellent. A great place to go if you're looking to just stop in for drinks and good service.

We had our sons communion lunch here. From the get go it was a very pleasant experience. When we started planning everything Serge took the time to make sure everything went perfectly. The service was fantastic all of our group "20 people" got their food quickly. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Can't thank the staff enough for the great experience. We will see you again. Thank you

Came in and saw alligator on the menu. Thought it was a joke, but nope they actually have it and it's absolutely delicious. Lots of beer choices, not much of a wine selection but enough to make the wife happy. We will be back for sure

We were going to the movies and this was in the same parking lot. Very nice friendly staff. Food was ok, nothing amazing but good. Chicken wings were very good. Portion size was plentiful. We had to take food home. Lots and lots of beer choices. Would be a fun place to go with a group.

We had a delightful dinner. Exceptional service, very friendly staff, the spicy dynamite shrimp are amazing. Anyone coming here should really have them, the best shrimp we have ever had. We ordered shrimp 3 ways and a shrimp pasta, everything came out hot and quick and it was all very very tasty. Too bad this menu is only on for a month or so, if it was a regular thing we would be back more often

Came in before a movie both the service and the food was great. only real complaint is the parking situation, we had to circle the parking lot a couple of times before we found a spot.
Other than that it was great

Spent $150+ for meal that was finished under an hour. No specials offered on New Years Eve. Steaks were $40+ and badly over cooked. Not much fish on menu despite misleading name of restaurant. Ran out of the local craft beer I ordered after first glass. Rushed service despite that the restaurant wasn't very busy. I had previously had a very pleasant lunch there so this was extremely disappointing.

Our second time here and once again everything was really good. Friendly server and great wings. The only thing I would like to see improved is the parking. Took us a good 15 minutes to find a spot.

We have visited this place a couple of times now and both times the food and overall experience have been excellent. It seems a bit quiet and i'm sure they struggle as they are close to some of the local chains - but i would pick Live Bait Alehouse over any of those.

Nice work - keep it up!

We have passed this place several times. Never really gave it a chance because we don’t like fish. We had a couples night out and we went to see James Bond. We originally went to Paramount only to find out they have no alcohol so we reluctantly went to Live Bait. To our surprise the menu was amazing, lots of choice, come to think of it very little fish on the menu. I had the schnitzel, it was really good, a bit large but good, my wife had a steak salad delicious. All of our meals where great, the server was good you can tell she’s fairly new but friendly and very polite. This place is a beer lovers paradise, so many choices, Nice that they don’t have Labatt or Molson but they have real beer. I will be back, we will all be back.

One criticism the name, they should really do something about the name.

Came here before going to the movies. Ordered this fish tacos. Amazing the only word to describe them, fish was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Need to come back here again. Glad we found this place. Our server was very friendly and very informative. Tried a few new beers, not a fan of the hops lol. good thing they have lots of choices

Identity crisis. That's the first thing that comes to mind. The place is called live bait ale house. One would imagine sea food, and lots of it. The decor would suggest the same thing. There is not much in the way of fish here. However what they do have is really good. Hands down the best nachos I have ever had. We had a spicy chicken dinner and it was rather good. The fish tacos are just the right amount of heat.

The service was good very friendly girls. The beer selection is vast however they don't have very much mainstream beer. Mostly local stuff.

I would recommend live bait to anyone not looking for fish. If it's fish you want go somewhere else.

Overall this place is a winner

Place had a nautical theme but needed something more than the decorations they had. Found the food quite expensive as they are trying to come off as a steakhouse but really does not feel like it.
Food and service were OK. Location is a bit hard to get to from Toronto but fine for locals.

Came in expecting sea food. One look at the menu showed that there was little in the way of fish. We decided to stay and give it a chance. Ordered a steak, it was cooked to perfection, and I have never seen larger onion rings in my life. Very good cut of beef. My wife had fish tacos a bit spicy but very tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. My only complaint would be implied sea food in the name. We came here expecting one thing and decided to give it a chance. Glad we did.

The waitress was very informative. With it being my first time there, she explained the variety of beer choices, menu favorites and she was very patient. The food was good ! Only thing I would have to complain about it the beer being warm. No one loves a warm beer on a hot day. Other than that I loved everything else.

I went here for my birthday with my mom, and 6 of my relatives. I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time.

It was a Sunday evening (post-Valentine's Day), so the place wasn't busy at all). Because of the size of the group, they put us in a nice tucked away place in the back of the restaurant, which was great. Three members of our group were late, so we waited for them before ordering.

Due to only having 2 wait staff on hand, we didn't get asked for our orders right away once the rest of my group showed up, which was a bit dissatisfying. However, the staff was friendly, the food was pretty tasty (I had the 14 ounce steak), and the ambiance relaxing.

I would go back, and hopefully next time there will be adequate staffing.

Food and drinks, we're all very good. Went there for moms bday, everyone enjoyed their meal. Cocktail Caesars were delicious and great beer list. We were group of 9, service a little slow but we're attentive. Also have good kids meals and kids were able to choose slushies for drinks.

Good environment, lively bar scene. I tried the catfish - the fish itself was good, but the vegetables were bland. Also there was no option to substitute the rice with brown rice, although not many restaurants have that option.

Staff were friendly and service was prompt.

I'd come here again.

We had 3 appertizers and the buffalo shrimp was awful. Putting buffalo wing sauce on shrimp over powers the seafood not a great choice, I would remove that from the menu. Also the spinach and artichoke and bland and the cheese was over cooked. The wings where great.

I reviewed the online menu prior to visiting the restaurant which offered lobster but unfortunately they did not have any when I got there. That was very disappointing. As well, I didn't find there to be alot of seafood considering the name of the restaurant. Overall, it was good.
