Food & drinks were amazing, highly recommend stopping by.
Excellent Food and service !!
We had dinner at their outside terrace last night and we were pretty cosy even though the evening was cold. The food was fresh and delicious, french fries, mussels, shrimps and broccolinis. The waiter professional and super sweet. I recommend it
Friendly staff, excellent food, and a very nice atmosphere.
Incredible food. Our server was amazing. Best kept secret in BK.
Always delicious - the fisherman’s stew and Curry mussels were perfection.
Great food and service! We will definitely go back next time we are in New York! Awesome seafood!!
Delicious and lovely, and even some great live music! A treat.
Great food and service!
Some of the best oysters you’ll find in NYC.
The lobster roll tops the famous Redhook version as well.
The entire experience was wonderful - the food, the drinks, the service and the ambience. Can’t wait to go back!
I went here with my beau on a date night. The place is great. We sat outside. Their food was great, as well as their drinks. We will definitely be back.
I chose this spot for mine and my partner’s anniversary dinner, as it was a little restaurant that I would assume would be a cute date spot, but I should have known better and gone to Claro next door instead.
I made a reservation ahead of time and the host shuffled us over to an outdoor table that was literally sandwiched between the ends of two narrow benches that were apparently affixed to the wall of the outdoor dining patio. If we hadn’t spoken up and asked for a more comfortable table, we would have both had one sore and fatigued butt cheek each, since that’s all that could fit on the bench they initially sat us at. Thankfully, they allowed us to sit at another table with actual chairs.
The noise level couldn’t be controlled by the restaurant since it’s in Gowanus and… well, constant construction is commonplace.
The food was okay, but the steamer clams that we got were incredibly gritty, like they weren’t fully cleaned. The only real saving grace was our waitress, who was wonderful and we tipped well for her. We’re not difficult to please, not entitled, and we understand that things are still hard for small restaurants during the pandemic, but I think Littleneck could have done a little more to make us feel welcomed for our first visit rather than make us feel like we were inconveniencing the host by showing up for our reservation. Maybe I’ll go back in the summer months for the raw bar menu, which is what originally drew me in, but we’ll see.
Little Neck is always a good idea. I’ve been there 4 times and they haven’t missed yet. The seafood is always fresh, the menu is creative, and the service is A+.
Life never fails to surprise us, whether it be a unexpected bouquet arriving at your doorstep, a 3 star movie review that ending up being a 5 star movie, a found dime in the street (or better yet a 20), Littleneck Resteraunt was one of those surprises. Littleneck Resteraunt, where the food was so unique and delicious you’d almost want to carve your name in the table to say, Yes I was here. Searching through Open Table for a Resteraunt close to a friends house, but not the same Dumbo locations that we have visited many times before, we came upon Littleneck. Littleneck is located at 288 3rd Avenue, which I was told was the Gowanus section of Brooklyn. We entered, my husband in his crown celebrating his birthday and our treatment was no less than royal.
As we walked up to the Resteraunt you first notice, the outdoor dining area, rustic with wooden tables, and wooden heaters in preparation for the cooler months. The inside was lit with sparkling lights that made me feel warm and cozy, unassuming you didn’t know what to expect and trust me you will not be Disappointed. We started with a signature frozen confection with Rum and Coconut that made me, have three. Dinner was exceptional, ,my husband started with Oysters while our friend and I ordered lobster tails, so good we asked for another. Mussels and chorizo, a fish stew, fish and chips…everything was fresh and delicious. You don’t need a 5 page menu when you have dishes like this to choose from.
This was truly a wonderful surprise one that we will enjoy again and again.
Great food and wonderful service. Nice cocktails and really great oysters!
Food was delicious. Super fresh seafood and interesting ingredients. Service was fast kind and thoughtful.
The food and cocktails were delicious! We came for Happy Hour and had oysters and mussels from that menu, which were both great. We had the clam toast as well, which was really special. Then we had the crab rolls with fries - this was the most average part of the meal, but there was nothing wrong with it. The cinnamon girl cocktail was really yummy! We had the bread pudding for dessert, which was big enough to share and also delicious. We will be back!
Superb food and service overall. We love this neighborhood place.
The food was unbelievable!!! So delicious, can't wait to go back
Such a great place to enjoy brunch ! I highly recommend!!
Sat at the bar, because rez was overbooked. Restaurant called ahead to try to straighten out.
Cleared out quickly as did the tables
Food good, salad, broccolini, mussels, halibut. Halibut a bit dry. Food came out too fast , we didnt get thru apps before dinner arrived. No room on the bar.
I have been meaning to eat at here since forever and can’t believe I waited so long. We went for Happy Hour and all the food raw oysters, raw clams, green curry mussels, lobster tail & aioli were fresh and flawless. The service was kind, quick and responsive. We will be going back an embarrassing amount now. We plan to make it our new “Cheers!” It’s the perfect combo of casual raw bar with a full selection of great drinks. It feels airy and spacious which is a must in Covid times. Five Stars all around.
Outstanding oysters and clams. Fresh and tasty, and very well shucked.
Great food and wonderful service - the food at Little Neck is consistently fresh and tasty - the servers go out of their way to make you feel welcome
Really amazing seafood especially for Brooklyn. A unique gem in the neighborhood!
I love this place, they make great margaritas and the fish is so delicious. Had the halibut with quinoa
Everything was unbelievably delicious! The beverage selection is incredible and perfectly paired with the simple and splendid food. The service was fantastic and thoughtful. The vibes were on point. And the ambiance was casual yet incredibly lovely. We can’t wait to go back! Get the fisherman’s stew and the amazing broccolini.
Everything tasted super fresh! I love in Portland OR and we cant get this quality there.
For the price, portions were small. This was especially true of the fried clams and the halibut.
the food, the service, the vibe at littleneck is incredible. Its great for families. for singles. for dates. It is perhaps my favorite restaurant in the world, and I have been to Hong Kong, Tokyo, LA, London.....etc........ it's a special pace!
Food was so so ams and service was terrible.
Fish and chips and the lobster roll were a little disappointing. The food took forever to be brought out.
Food was coming very slow and our host basically kicked us out because there was another party coming - which was not communicated to us earlier
Charred lobster was delish. Ordered twice. Oysters and clams were fresh and good. Lobster roll was a bit small but overflowing & it came with fries. They were busy, make reservations.
