This place is the best.
Took my husband here for his birthday and we had a great time! Food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Just be warned the restaurant is cash only. They have an ATM in the back though, so it's not a hassle.
Been here before. Food was vastly improved. Delicious. Absolutely recommend.
Despite it being early and not super busy, our waiter left us hanging for longer than seemed reasonable, prompting us to skip extra oysters and dessert in favor of an early exit. The food and drinks were excellent.
We go every few years and are always pleased. Fresh oysters that taste of the sea, delicious perfectly fried fish and chips and a sumptuous Portuguese Stew
I love Littleneck and go there often. This time was a little disappointing. My lobster roll tasted kinda old and there were a number of pieces of small shell (ouch). But I've been here many, many times and the food is usually so delicious—the mussels, the fish and chips, and the lobster fritter are faves—that I'm not worried. Mistakes can happen and overall, I highly recommend Littleneck.
Foods was delicious, and our server was everything we could have asked for. Thank you!
Good food and good service is a great combination. We made it for happy hour so got to taste more food. It was a great experience being from out of town.
Great food, great service, cozy restaurant. We will all return! Yummm...
Delicious food always. Great service and super fun vibe.
Love the food and cocktails here. Pricey but a nice indulgence once in a while. Oysters, mussels, salad, you name it. Delish!!
Great food, friendly staff, cute interior!
It would be really nice if there was a kid menu available (2-3 options) with a few appropriately sized portions.
Excellent oysters and seafood. The seafood soup is a particular favorite. Good happy hour specials.
Great clams and oysters on the halfshell. Amazing mussels in curry broth! Service is friendly and attentive. It can get noisy at times. I've been many times and will keep on going back for the superb food.
Wonderful spot. Great atmosphere. Good food.
Very rustic. But the food is terrific.
Great seafood in a relaxed atmosphere. A nice place for lobster and crab rolls and a good place for a get together.
I love this place. I’ve eaten there 3 times this month and always love it.
Great cocktails & raw bar. Friendly & fun. Happy hour oysters wonderful! A neighborhood gem.
Don't know how it was because they cancelled on me. And being on vacation I didn't have time to reschedule. very disappointed.
This is my wife and I's go-to spot for Friday night dates. Always have incredible selection of fresh oysters, great wines and cocktails and the food is delicious. Wait staff are super nice but can be a bit aloof at times, although, that's part of the charm.
Best lobster roll in town!
The Frito Misto was off the hook!!! The service was great. Who knew the Chuna Oysters were so tasty? Love this place.
Great casual dining spot in Gowanus.
All dishes were very good except the Fish & Chips and salad that were mediocre.
Will definitely visit again.
This was the first time at Littleneck and my friend and I will be back. It's a great find out of the normal Park Slope neighbourhood. The food was terrific and the menu was really interesting so when we come back we'll try new things. I heartedly recommend it to anyone who loves seafood.
Father’s Day dinner. Food was great. Great oysters. Delicious Lobster Roll with fries. Great cocktails and wines. Love Littleneck.
One of the best lobster rolls I’ve ever had!
Food was wonderful. Service excellent; nice people and very accommodating. Love the vibe.
We love Littleneck, our family's go-to favorite hands down. A great atmosphere, always polished service and outstanding food. Don't be fooled by the laid back vibe –– this is a serious-minded kitchen with operational sophistication to match.
One of the most consistently great spots in the hood for breakfast or dinner
This place is AMAZING! Fresh, succulent oysters, the bombest lobster roll south of New Haven, and a fish & chips to die for. The old bay seasoned fries are great, not to mention homemade pickles and slaw. And of course, true to their name, this place actually has great clams! Get them fresh, fried, or really any way you like and all of this for the best prices I have yet to see in NYC. The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere.
The place has a very tasteful decor with an eastern seaboard maritime theme, it's quiet (at least on a Wednesday), and the service was fast and friendly with a very welcoming New England vibe. The servers are attentive and laid back.
Would absolutely recommend this place for date night or a casual dinner. My humble opinion: not a place for kids. Check out some louder / larger restaurants in Park Slope if you're looking to have dinner with your youngsters.
Tasty seafood, interesting appetizer. Slow service & a bit noisy.
One of the better places we have been to in NYC over the past 9 years. I recommend the pea shoot salad and the fish and chips. Great service.
Staff was great and food was spot on.
This is very pleasant venue with good food, although the special was not yet available for our 6 PM reservation. I was also happy that I noted one prior reviewer’s complaint about an inaccurate bill. Indeed, the check we received had a significant addition error. The staff apologized and recalculated the bill. Bottom line, good place to dine, but bring your calculator.
Delicious food, friendly staff, inviting atmosphere in a charming neighborhood. Ordered lobster rolls (chose Connecticut style), Portuguese stew, doughnuts, chocolate mousse. Lobster rolls were super fresh, choice parts of the lobster on perfectly toasted bun with tasty fries. I do wish the lobster rolls were slightly larger at $25 a pop but still, seriously fresh and every bite delicious. The Portuguese stew was nearly perfect. The mussels and clams were perfect. Tender and fresh. The soup was rich and soul-warming. The sausage was a bit tougher than I would've liked but maybe that's how it's supposed to be. The doughnut (4 to an order) were fragrant and light. The cream (was it a Bourbon cream?) was so good. We didn't realize there would be 4 to an order so we still haven't gotten around to eating the chocolate mousse (though based on the rest of the meal it's probably going to be very good too).
Was looking forward to grilled skate on the website menu but menu was different when arrived 2 hours later. Good meal. Great service. Slightly crowded and on the verge of being too nosiy but then it cleared out and noise dissipated. Would recommend...earen there several times before.
This use to be one of our favorite restaurants, but after last Friday we will not be going back for a while. We brought my 90 year old mom who didn’t like her lobster roll because it was tough. The waiter made no attempt to address this issue.
