Rude and confrontational staff. Do not waste your time or money at this restaurant. The manager is a boorish, angry man who upset and embarrassed me in front of my guests. Go to Rin Tin Tin up the street. MUCH better food and dining experience.

I live in this neighborhood and was excited to support a local business. Now I will take pleasure in watching them fail.

My husband and I took my son out to Little Rascal for a birthday dinner. I had the chicken brochettes, which are usually served with rice pilaf; I asked to substitute a small salad, which was no problem. My son had the Salmon and my husband had the spinach and mushroom salad. We also shared a zucchini appetizer. The food was delicious, the service was great, the restaurant has a comfortable feel. My son and I had eaten there before and enjoyed it, then. I'd say the food was even better this time. It's not a large restaurant, so I'd suggest making a reservation.

Went on a Thursday night and was pleased to find a DJ playing some safe burning man-esque playa-tech. The place got rowdy later on and essentially turned into a small club. Fun crowd. I will be back. My latest fave place in NYC.

Delicious home made Turkish food, very authentic. Great selection of draft beer too. Place has a great atmosphere and no noise, so it's perfect for chatting. Recommend the lamb chops, they're delicious.

This place is simply spectacular. My boyfriend and I went for dinner last and loved the food so much we ended up ordering the exact same thing plus more for delivery tonight. Amazing food. Amazing staff. We're hooked! PS: The pickles are addictive.... beware!

Went for brunch. Great menu options and pre fix option if you're in a large group with alcohol included.
Authentically Turkish cuisine and waitstaff. The sangria was excellent and the baked eggs dish was amazing.
Beautifully decorated space and pleasant waitstaff. Also tried the Turkish coffee and tea which were both also amazing.

Totally charming little spot in Nolita with extremely welcoming staff and ambience. We all shared traditional Turkish dishes and found it all fresh and wonderful including a perfectly cooked grilled salmon.

We went on a sat morning for pre fix brunch there. The food was very mediocre - they don't even have real pita bread, and instead gave us bagel to go with the drippings/cheese... The worst thing is that it took them 3 hours to give us everything. the restaurant was not even half full, so there's no excuse for busy kitchen, etc. it is literally The slowest meal ever! Given the quality of the food, it's totally not worth it. Don't come to this place.

Met a friend here. Ordered many small plates, all were delicious. Spot is neat, very relaxed ambiance. I have no complaints about the service but I could see how someone in a rush might have been disappointed in the pace of the night, but for catching up with my friend it was perfect.

When we arrived the waitress swiped the table and let us alone, without inviting us to seat. We waited for some table cloth or set, but none of this arrived so we finally understood we were allowed to sit. The table was still sticky as well as the benches. Plates are small so food can fall easily. It took about 30 mn to get the appetizers which usually are ready when we talk about mezze, they were tasteless except the bread that was warm and served in generous portions. Then we waited another 45 mn to get the entrees, which arrived overcooked (lamb and chicken kebab). I was with my kids, obviously not a good pick for a family dinner as this was so slow and with this loud, repetitive music. None of the waitresses seemed to realize that we were upset and we heared no apologies for waiting so long, until the bill came with a 20% service already added while we were only 5. I couldn't even complain this way! This is more a bar than a restaurant, and it's more for a relaxed drink with some mezze if you don't expect anything really good.

FOOD: Taste was average and uninspired. Mezes options were said to be fit for four but were more suited for two and bread that accompanied it was limited. Nearly all main dishes included the same bulgar side. No real variety or excitement.

SERVICE: Booked a reservation for 12, called a few hours before and changed to 11. Arrived and the table we were seated at was made for 8. After 15 - 20 minutes of talking/shuffling a new table was arranged for us that fit our party. I personally moved our water glasses and menus from one table to the next while the gentleman who was serving us watched. He did not offer to help move anything. After waiting at the new table for five minutes I got up and approached our server to let him know that we were a party of 11 sitting with four empty glasses for water and four menus among us and that we would appreciate better accommodation. Service was more attentive from there on but marginally so. No horrific errors were made but the entire evening fell flat in every possible way. It was a special occasion for us and we wish we had it somewhere else.

I love Turkish food - I am not familiar with too many Turkish wine bars in the city but so glad found this one.

The place is small but really cute and intimate. Perfect to grab some wine and small plates before a night out. The service was just enough and felt very personal.

My only wish is that the meze menu had more variety, namely more "meaty" dishes. For example, the lamb meatballs were a main but would have been a perfect addition to the meze menu.

I truly loved my experience here and would definitely recommend.

The owner of this neighborhood gem is personalbe and attentive to his customers. Not only is his wine list superb but most people will be dining on the delicious Turkish cuisines from the menu. The decor enhances comfort and conversation. A highly recommended place to try!!

I really wanted to like Little Rascals, from the location, decor and the menu. Unfortunately, the food (Turkish Meatballs, Chicken entree and Baklava) was underwhelming and the portions small. The service was also lackluster, inattentive and slow - it wasn't even a busy evening (just a lot of takeout orders and the sole waiter/bartender was splitting time with friends at the bar). It was my husband's birthday and the restaurant missed at making it a special evening. I will not be returning

I came here with a group of 11. The food was delicious. The place is very small. There are about 3 tables. We got an inexperienced server who admitted was on her second day. A crazy choice for a party that size. The ambiance was pretty relaxed though.
The brunch is pricy and includes nothing a brunch generally includes. We spent so much money on coffee alone, we could've invited two more people to eat with us. they charged us a tip on top of our bill which I didn't realize was included and handed the waitress $70 which she didn't refuse. I get it-- but a 140$ tip on an alcohol-less brunch sounds a little insane even for the very wealthy. I left and resented the fact that nobody said, "just want to make sure you realize that tip was included" -- again, I get it. Whose going to talk someone out of a tip-- but honesty would've been appreciated. Overall id recommend this place for lunch rather than brunch and not for a very big group.

Little Rascal is a phenomenal wine bar offering a delicious food selection, eclectic wine options, and a warm and romantic atmosphere. The host is very friendly. I have come here numerous times and I always left extremely satisfied. The meatballs, the eggplant and the warm bread are all super tasty. I recommend Kavacik Karasi in terms of red wine. Enjoy!

This place has good Mediterranean food - a lot of the staples everyone likes are on the menu and the prices cannot be topped. The bread is delicious and served hot out of the oven for dipping pleasure. The service is friendly and welcoming. The bar is lovely. The tables are few and they are rustic in set up so diners should be prepared for a wait if you don't have a reservation and creative maneuvering in/out of the tables if you're interested in moving around a bit. This isn't a turn off at all - we had a great time there and enjoyed our meal. Its just something to be prepared for. And, in the summer months, some A/C would be a welcome addition. I would definitely return - just in the fall.

We went on a Saturday night for a 7pm reservation. It wasn't packed but still busy. It's a great location and the vibe of the place is really great, with good music that's not too loud, great space, great view of the neighborhood. Alas, the food wasn't all that great. 2 of us had lamb (turkish) meatballs - tough, overdone & tasted like they'd been pre-cooked earlier in the afternoon & nuked right before they were plated. Another friend ordered the branzino after being told it was filleted. It was served whole instead, giving my friend a mouthful of bones in every bite so we had to send it back. (One the plus side, they did replace it quite quickly with a decent salmon.) The wine & space was great. The food was not.

Great turkish food situated in the heart of NoLita. The bartender/server was very easy to talk to and was more than accommodating after having to give our table away. We ended up eating at the bar which was actually spacious and easy to eat at. The yogurt and hummus dips were excellent and they provided plenty of bread to eat it with. The salmon was good but wasn't especially different from other salmon dishes I've had. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd highly recommend.

Little Rascal was awesome. I booked a table for 8 of us recently, and everyone was impressed by the food, service, and value. The food is delicious (the best Turkish I've had in NYC), the ambiance is great and it's also great value. We had a main each, plenty of starters to share and lot's of wine and beers, and it worked out at very reasonable $50 each, everything included. I highly recommend Little Rascal!
