Featuring classic French bistro items, the menu includes Fluke Meuniere, Bistro Chicken and Steak Frites, in addition to lighter fare such as Quinoa Salad, Ratatouille and Mussels. Signature specials include an “off-menu” French Onion Soup Burger with caramelized onions and gruyere.
Little Prince will also feature a frequently rotating beer program, highlighting unique French and local beers and seasonal French cocktails.
Dramatic floral arrangements accent the light-filled space, which has floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on bustling Prince Street. Caramel banquettes line the walls and the wooden bar is warmly lit by classic globe pendant lamps. Hand-painted ceramic floor tiles complete the bistro ambience.
little prince is the very best!!!
Terrible. Wait staff is great but this place shouldn’t be allowed to serve food
Everything about this restaurant makes me happy! Fabulous food, warm environment and friendly, outgoing staff - especially Lee! We Love the Little Prince!!
Good food. Salmon, steak Frites, nice wine. The server brought our bill, there were $60+ of cocktails that were not ours. She was barely apologetic..hmmmm.
Left because they hadn’t seated us 45min after the time our res was called for
Always fabulous. Took guests from out of town to lunch and was perfect. Someone who had never had quinoa or hazelnuts had the Salad Alexander and was amazed.
Me and my other two guests waited by the door for 5 minutes, and no one cared enough to come and greet us by the door, so we left.
It was crazy noisy too.
So adorable and the food is delicious too!
I highly recommend this establishment.
The staff was amazing!!!! They were so kind and helpful! Andrew was our waiter and we truly were so lucky. He was engaging, funny, knew what we wanted before we even asked! He was the best! I’ve always loved this place but even took it up another notch! Thanks for everything!
Judt a fantastic, romantic restaurant with a,great, cool vibe. Absolutely outstanding food and well crafted drinks!
They lied and said our reservation had been changed to 8:30 by "someone". Had to wait over 50 minutes for our table to be ready and they didn't apologize or offer any explanation.
The food was great as usual .
Always the best food. My favorite place!
amazing french food. They have the best artichokes and mussels I have ever eaten
A perfect fall day, perfect glass of rose with strawberry and tomato salad!
Great energy in the restaurant. The service, food and wines were stellar! A wonderful neighborhood restaurant with great value and creativity.
The hamburger is a must have for any burger lover...and maybe even for those who don't think they are. One of the best we ever had. The steak frites consists of exactly what it should. Perfectly cooked, tender and tasty Creekstone skirt steak with a fantastic au poivre sauce! Then the fries are al;so perfect...and are amazing with a little of the sauce. My wife and I called it the perfect lunch. I had read in one review that the service fell short...it was not the case for us...our waiter was pleasant, informative and showed the perfect amount of attention.
always a favorite when in NYC. Amazing service and food, such a stunning and special place. Right in the heart of Soho!
Lovely meal in a bustling little cafe.
good cocktails, albeit skimpy; shared octopus: always good; mains were fine though again steak size was skimpy but great fries. we always return.
Great ambiance. Lovely food, wine and cocktails. Authentic-feeling French place. Very friendly and helpful service. We will go back...!
We went for brunch after passing on a walk. It was fun and the food was good. Not a lot of choices which can be nice. The full monte was recommended and a great choice!
Great menu and excellent service. Place has a lot of character.
By 7:30pm it was so loud that it was nearly impossible to have a conversation.
Cute spot for a date or a fun dinner with the girls
The food was excellent. It was pretty loud in there and hard to hear the person across the table!
This was my second visit to the little prince and they never fail to amaze. They were full up with a fashion week crowd and i made a last minute reservation through open table for 11 pm, after my previous reservation had to be canceled because of a restaurant water pipe leak. When I arrived i found out that their kitchen closed at 11. (The reservation shouldn't have been possible.) The Matre D had a quick chat with kitchen staff and arranged for them to stay open and wait for my date and i to order. They also comped our drinks to make up for any confusion.
On my first visit I wasn't pleased with what i ordered, because i had expected a cold dish to have been served hot. The owner came by and gave us additional apps, on the house, saying he'd rather us leave happy, than for him to not hear complaints.
Charming bistro with very special takes on bistro fare. Delightful cocktails and friendly, helpful service. A real gem!
Despite having reservations, we did not find anyone on the waitstaff to seat us for twenty minutes. When we finally found the host, we were told our table was no longer available and were told it would be first come, first serve. Since we really wanted to go here, we ended up booking a second OpenTable reservation for 9:30pm and went to a bar nearby in the meantime. We came back at 9:30 and walked to the host stand hidden at the back of the restaurant only to be rudely told by the same host to move out of the way, that we were blocking traffic. After ten more minutes, another waiter finally seated us in the busiest part of the restaurant, despite which we could not have felt more invisible. At one point the rude host hung someone else’s coat on the back of my chair. The food was okay and the prep time was reasonable but was overshadowed by the obnoxious waitstaff and really loud guests. I had been so excited about this restaurant and was hugely disappointed. Please teach your hosts to have manners.
It was really really loud
Wonderful meal, lovely atmosphere. A little escape to France! Duck a l’orange and pommes frites were divine
I have had trouble for over 20 years finding a place where I can hold a conversation at normal volume. I have hearing loss and even with aids on high, using shouting and repitition and lip reading, it is really in hard to talk to your companions. I know this is nearly universal in New York but I sure wish it had a solution. I had a pretty good sound level on a boat along the Hudson but it seems outside with the smokers is almost the only place and then there's street noise and the piped in e music that seems ubiquitous. Everybody gonna be deaf by and by.
The ambiance and location are great, and service was decent too. However, both our fish dishes were over cooked, and the steak undercooked. Even though the frites were delicious, we wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
We arrived 40 minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately. We ordered drinks, the fried artichoke appetizer and our meals. We received our drinks promptly and our appetizer and meals came out at the same time. The fried artichoke and aioli was delicious and in spite of it being delivered with our dinners we ate it all! The dinners were good as well. Steak frites was done perfectly medium rare and the frites were some of the best I have eaten. I will go back for the great open air dining and cute French bistro feel as well as solid food.
Very good food, romantic vibe. I'm used to tiny French restaurants but even these tables were a little close for comfort.
Cute staff! Friendly!
Food was AMAZING. My only complaint is that I made a reservation and requested outside seating but when I got there we still had to wait like 20-25 minutes for a table outside. It’s a small space though so I guess that’s tricky. But the cocktails were lovely and the menu was great. The French onion soup burger was to die for 🤤
The food was delicious, the drinks were great, our waitress was attentive but not overbearing and gave great recommendations. We took a friend for her birthday - we absolutely loved it.
Go on Thursday for a dance party!
Visiting and recommended by a friend- glad they did. Lovely food and ambiance, cheerful and attentive waiter.
Ambience was great. Food was good to great. Service was good except that the meal felt very rushed.
