Featuring classic French bistro items, the menu includes Fluke Meuniere, Bistro Chicken and Steak Frites, in addition to lighter fare such as Quinoa Salad, Ratatouille and Mussels. Signature specials include an “off-menu” French Onion Soup Burger with caramelized onions and gruyere.
Little Prince will also feature a frequently rotating beer program, highlighting unique French and local beers and seasonal French cocktails.
Dramatic floral arrangements accent the light-filled space, which has floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on bustling Prince Street. Caramel banquettes line the walls and the wooden bar is warmly lit by classic globe pendant lamps. Hand-painted ceramic floor tiles complete the bistro ambience.

Little Prince is a very quaint and lovely place to eat.
wonderful! so friendly, warm and special. love it!
Amazing food, Something for everyone. great atmosphere, but very loud.
Wonderful food and atmosphere, the recommendations by the staff were on point and we enjoyed every minute
Great little spot with a good vibe and fun menu.
Very delicious food and cocktails! I would definitely go back. Although the dessert menu was lackluster and not very appetizing. One thing that I think could be improved is the cleanliness of the glassware
pretty good
Charming vibe, never pretentious. Welcoming staff who make great recommendations. Food is modern bistro food. Down to earth, delicious.
Great food and service. Way too loud, small and tables too close together
Cobi and his team are masters of hospitality, the food is always exceptional and vibe is happy and fun.
Very nice food, good service, but very loud.
Chose this restaurant because of its proximity to Soho Playhouse. Good decision!
Service was outstanding—never intrusive but always available, even as the room went from a few diners to a full house.
We shared a first course of crispy artichokes which was so good that we would never share this again. When we return there will be an order for each of us! The other dishes we had, steak frites, bifteck hache, creme brulee, were all very good for type.
The only disappointment was the espresso. Having noticed the classic looking espresso machine behind the bar, I’d looked forward to perfection. But the espresso was thin with minimal crema. I hope it was just an off night for the barista!
We had to order bread rather than having the bread served with our meal. Then they charged extra for it. This is supposed to be a French restaurant. I’ve traveled to France just about every year since 1974. I’ve lived in four different areas of France for a month at a time. I’ve never ever had to ask for bread, even less been charged separately for it. This is no French restaurant. Never again.
Love this restaurant any time of the year but it was a really intimate and fun way to spend Valentine’s Day. Oysters were a nice addition but overpriced. We got them anyway. Love the menu and cocktail list. The pink teddy bears dining outside was cute. They also played old films on a projector which gave off a nostalgic feeling. Great evening. Certainly recommend.
I've never had French onion soup that was so perfectly made. Also the artichokes were superb! Loved everything about this wonderful little restaurant! My husband was also excited that they had Diet Coke instead of Pepsi!
Great experience
Was a special birthday for husband
Was a very rich and delicious meal, bring your appetite
CHARMING PLACE FOR BRUNCH. Lots of variety on the menu. It was quite busy by the time we had finished our meal, but was quiet at 10:30 when we started.
Sat at the bar, got great service and care. Full menu was available even pretty late. Great bottle of wine and meal.
We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and the staff were so wonderful! They played a song, brought a dessert out, and included a sparkler! It absolutely made her day and was such a special treat!
Absolutely perfect in every way!
nice place; food was nice
Our waitress was excellent and friendly! Wonderful experience overall.
Excellent service and perfectly executed dishes in the meaty heart of accessible classical French cuisine. A touch spendy for the elevation of the food, and the cocktails were hit-or-miss (but overall, solid), but I’m nitpicking because I was impressed but I know they could’ve been a little better. Will be back, and soon.
Excellent onion soup, salmon and ratatouille!!!!
Went with friend for dinner - super crowded good food
The restaurant was small but really nice... reminded us of a cafe in France. We had brunch and the food was delicious and the staff was very attentive.
We went to The Little Prince for a belated birthday brunch and had a great experience. The burgers were especially delicious!!
Lively happy place, great food and friendly staff. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not for you, but a great place for brunch when in the area.
This is one of my favorite spots for lunch and an after-work drink. Great staff and DELICIOUS FOOD!
Come here all the time and is always very good. Loved that they have their famous Soup burger available as vegan or regular.! I don’t eat dairy and to have a real tasting “cheeseburger” made with vegan gruyere cheese was wonderful. Service was great as always and it’s a very energetic place, not for quiet dining
Way too noisy. Loud stereo. Not a great date environment. Too many tourists
New Year’s Eve!!
The food and service were great, but did not bring out a candle with dessert as I had requested in my note to the restaurant.
Great restaurant. We've been eating here on Christmas Eve for many years. Festive and Friendly!
One of my favorites, always a reliably great meal at time of year. Tonight was no exception. Excellent service and wonderful food made is a nice date night, but it works for most casual outings.
First time in SoHo fabulous wee place
Enjoyed the food but that’s where the enjoyment ended. Service was so terrible that it actually ruined the entire meal. Waiters had an attitude and one kept leaning over my constantly to serve another table, plus bumping into me as I was eating without even apologizing. Another example how a restaurant crams way too many tables and unfortunately we had the worst one - avoid the back table near the host podium. Awful and will not be back. There a ton of great restaurants in nyc with much better service
Great place with a very good wait staff. And the best mussels ever!
I love the Little Prince. I have been here a number of times with friends and family, and find the combination of excellent food and great service to be a stellar combination especially in Soho, where you can easily get duped into going somewhere highly overpriced with underwhelming food. However, I came here to celebrate Christmas dinner with my girlfriend and we had a surprisingly bad experience. We showed up about 5 minutes ahead of our 8pm reservation, and were not seated until 8:30. Granted, a 30 minute delay is not the end of the world; however, the host was unsympathetic, which was surprising considering the small, intimate space does not exactly accommodate people standing to wait. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I asked to see the wine list so we could at least have a drink while we waited, and the host told us absolutely - but did not return until our table was available 10 minutes later. My frustration was compounded when at about 9pm the wait staff emerged from the kitchen with a birthday cake, and the lights were turned off in favor of strobe and disco lights. What was a very nice gesture for a special birthday guest turned into a painful light show for me and my date, as the lights were never turned back to normal we were in the unenviable position of being directly in the middle of the dining room - so the strobe lights were pointed directly in our faces. At the end of the meal, we made a comment to the wait staff, who admitted that they saw our pained faces during our meal, which only made me more upset. How did they not take the proactive effort to simply pivot or rearrange the strobe lights?
I think the Little Prince is great, but this experience really makes me rethink going in the future.
Love this place. This was my first dinner at Little Prince and it was delicious. Perfect amount. Usually go for brunch which is excellent as well ❤️
