Everything about little pine is a dream. From their service, outdoor setup, food quality and wine selection. We had an unforgettable night. Thank you!
It was a great experience. The only issue was that it was an unusually cold night and the heaters just weren't enough. But the food and service was fantastic.
Fantastic as always! Has a VIP vibe and atmosphere with the VIP attitude.
Our family is big on VEGAN food. So we know a good mac N cheeze or a good fried chickn cutlet. Neither of those are our favorite vegan foods but we tried them all at Little Pine. Our family of 4 had all but two of the dishes on the very short menu. The restaurant had nice open outside seating with heaters, lovely staff and it was quiet. But the food was nothing special. No new take on anything we haven't seen before. The food was hot, well prepared and tasted ok, just not insightful. Maybe they need a copy of the Moosewood cookbook? Maybe a trip to the farmers market? Maybe a hug? We will come back if the menu changes. The location and the staff would make that a joy.
Very cute dog friendly patio. Delicious vegan food. Reasonable pricing.
Little Pine is always a wonderful experience. Very safe and spaced out outdoor only dining in Silverlake. The staff is helpful and efficient. The food is excellent. I have tried every current gluten free offering they have and they are all wonderful. Perfect for date night or casual dinner with friends.
Delicious vegetable dishes. Great value. Service wasn’t great - had to ask them to wipe our table, bring water, turn the heater on, and felt like a bother doing so. But would 100% return!
Amazing chocolate chip cookies with oat milk, cheesy fennel sausage flatbread, and amazing Caesar salad. Great service as well as great drinks like a turmeric ginger latte, and cute outdoor seating with turf and string lights. Very satisfying and welcoming atmosphere.
The food was so mediocre, especially for the price. The food used to be amazing. Our waiter was lame. Very disappointed with the whole place and definitely won't be coming back.
Entree took over an hour to get. All other tables around us received entrees before us even though we were there first. Food was disappointing and very overpriced. Basically got a Boca burger and a handful of cold fries for $19.
It was my birthday and we had an amazing waiter who gave great recommendations and was so friendly! The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the brussel sprouts and the chocolate cookie. The wine we was also had was delicious too. After the rough year we've had it was great to safely be able to enjoy my birthday with my friends at a wonderful, delicious and local vegan restaurant :)
Delicious vegan food that vegans and non vegans will enjoy!
Great place for creative and delicious vegan food.
i loved the servers and the staff i wished i asked names they were so great
Great experience, the food and staff were yummy.
Love Little Pine...everyone so friendly, food terrific. And the wine ain't bad either!
The food at Little Pine was just okay: small portion sizes, missing ingredients (no granola on the granola yogurt parfait?!), and sorta boring. The banana cream pie was pink, no crust, just a little strange. Also, we did not receive our appetizer until after the meal because the server forgot. He just didn't seem to care all that much about getting things right. Bummer. Finally, the server said the food would come out at random intervals because the kitchen is small. That is not a legit reason to create a poor dining experience. Timing the food is part of running a restaurant kitchen. Sure, there's bound to be hiccups, but at least try to bring dishes out at the same time so some diners aren't sitting awkwardly staring at their food while others wait.
Advice to Little Pine: surprise and delight guests with ingenuity in the dishes and consistency in quality. A sense of urgency among service staff would go a long way.
A fun time love this place!
It was so yummy, and the patio was beautiful! We were served kindly and quickly, will definitely be back!
The food was excellent - best chocolate croissant I've had. The cheddar jalapeno french toast and french fries were so tasty. Avocado toast was filling and delicious. Great coffee. I got an iced coffee to-go as well and that was yummy. Our server Kevin(?) was just so wonderful. And we sat outdoors at a picnic table and it was simply beautiful. We all said we definitely want to come back again soon.
great food, fun place !!
apple sandwich was bomb
with apple cider
Such a lovely evening here! Great service, and food was fantastic!
Great service, great food, patio is a nice setting.
Excellent food and staff. Best Vegan food in LA if you ask me!
Always great food options. Dog friendly too, which is awesome.
Great food and atmosphere
Worst service of my life. I think this place has gone so downhill. Hopefully MKC buys this out
Had a wonderful time w my girlfriends. The ambience and the place is very cute, the food is also great, I am not vegan but I didn’t miss the meat that night which is rare. Overall it’s a great restaurant, not too expensive although not inexpensive either. I like it more after pandemic then before.
Good vibes, good atmosphere. Food was average with some tasty sauces. And definitely pricey for what you get. I love veggies but we asked for 2 Orders and they were so hard. Bummer.
Love this place!
Great food, service, and very cute place that can be dress up or casual!
AMAZING atmosphere, food, service, it doesn't get any better.
Cannot recommend this wonderful place more!
This was my second time making reservations for dinner at Little Pine. Even though I arrived early both times, I was seated in a timely manner. The hostess who greeted us, (I don’t remember her name) a petite blonde woman, was incredibly friendly and warm. The waitresses who helped us were also very friendly and sweet. And finally, food was delicious!! We tried dinner plates, and we’ve also ordered breakfast plates to go! Such a lovely experience every time. 10/10!
Overall, I was a bit disappointed. The menu and drink selection were short and nothing special. The burger was average, but the chicken and mashed potato meal were just not good. I don't think the chef knows how to cook fake fried chicken. It can be tricky, but I can really excuse the poor mashed potatoes. I would say that the brussel sprout meal was phenomenal and something you need to try. We ended up spending $80 for three dishes and a small glass of wine.
Our waiter Kevin was awesome.
We reserved a table for my husbands birthday but the table we got was literally the worst table there. Literally no light. Luckily we asked to move and Kevin was nice about the change of tables. This was my second visit and the first time I swore it was amazing. I found out the sausage is impossible and the chickens gardein? $22 for picatta and $22 for large Mac w impossible is definitely not worth it. I genuinely thought you guys made your meats. Terrible.
Cookies are good though
ignored by staff entire time, were there 1.5hrs and the waitress came to us one time to take our order and that’s it... food didn’t come, had to ask multiple people about it while everyone around got food after arriving later and got check ins from staff - super weird experience.
This was our second time going to Little Pine for their outdoor dining during Covid. The server recognized us quickly from our first visit 5 months earlier and made us feel very welcomed. The food was all very tasty and came out quickly. This is one of our favorite outdoor dining spots because it's not in a tacky white tent, and it's not right along the street or sidewalk, and the tables definitely feel far enough apart to be safe.
everything was on time and very yummy :)
definitely recommended !!!!
I can't wait to try everything on the menu. The new outdoor area is lovely and feels very safe. Big fan.
A lovely little place, missing a bit of intimacy. the tables and astro turf feel impersonal - maybe add some green and I would have felt more pampered. Everything else was tasteful, and well thought out.
