   Moby doesn’t own it anymore. Ok. No big deal. But someone owns it who clearly haven’t tried the overpeppered mushroom duxelle,the loveless cooked veggies,the over salted polenta. My personal highlight was the flatbread with an undercooked dough. My 14yearolds pizza dough is masterful compared to this faux-pas. My wife is the most beautiful person ever so we had a great evening (I wasn’t even mentioning her boring “eggplant steak” which was nothing but a piece of eggplant cooked again without any love) The waiter was wonderful and the red wine kept us from wanting our money back. But if the Manager sees this : Give us our money back and get some Professionals on board.

   We've been waiting years to try Little Pine and it was so worth the wait. The food was delicious and the portions were appropriate which was appreciated. There's nothing worse than leaving a restaurant hungry after dropping a wad of cash. The service was friendly and professional and the manager was personable as well. Overall, we were delighted! Highly recommend.

   I am so sad to write this review. I am vegan and have been to all the LA vegan usual suspects many times - cross roads, gracias Andre, plant food and wine, Pura vita. I can say all, are much better. We first came before Covid and the food was beyond amazing. 2.5 years later, we came back for my husbands birthday. We had such good memories we drove over an hour from Redondo Beach. We learned that ownership changed before Covid, as all restaurants did, they suffered during Covid ( horribly sad) but it’s just not that great. Our waitress told us the new chef was young, inventive and amazing… Well the fennel flat bread likely had viola life cheddar, which is my favorite plant based cheese at home, but a “high end” restaurant using what tasted like a bag cheese was very dissapointing. I go out for that creamy, delicious almond ricotta or cashew creme. Not bag plastic. The special pasta was so salty it was near not edible. It was so al dente it was hard and undercooked, and the crispy kale salad left wanting more. It was plain bland. I am sorry for this review. I just hope no one is driving like we did, hoping for what used to be

   Had a wonderful time at Little Pine. From the initial greeting by the host, our friendly and personable server, to the excellent quality of food, it was overall a wonderful dining experience. Great ambiance, quiet but nice background music, and dog friendly. Will return!

    The menu changes time to time and that’s a good thing. The service was incredible. And she had a lot of diners/ customers she had to take of. Great place for a romantic date, or family gathering. Everything works here.

    From the moment we walked in we were greeted by smiling faces. Our server was the beautiful, Jessica. She was very attentive and helped us navigate the menu. Thanks for a wonderful evening! The food was absolutely delicious and not too heavy…which we appreciate. The banana cream pie definitely ended the evening on a high note.

    The chef made the best tomato soup and grilled cheez sandwich you will ever have. The staff were all very courteous, knowledgeable and attentive. I look forward to visiting many more times. Thank you to Moby, the chef and the entire staff for supporting animal liberation and creating such a great dining experience.

    Booked a table for Tuesday night, received confirmation from Open Table, drove an hour only to find that Little Pine is closed on Tuesdays. Please update your hours on Open Table.

    The 5 course wine pairing was very nice. It was romantic, great service and really good food. I liked the chef and winemaker discussing the food and wine as well. I would have enjoyed a bit more wine in the pairings (who wouldn’t), but overall it was a great experience and exercise in taking it slow with your food and wine to fully appreciate it.

    Our server and everything about the restaurant was lovely, save for the flavors. I think they could have been more adventurous with their flavors. The starter was amazing! It was a mushroom duxelles, in toast, but parts or all of our entrees were on the flavorless side. 😬 We really wanted to love it! We were so stoked on this place, so the food didn’t quite deliver.

    Not been to this restaurant since the pandemic and the menu changed quite a bit. It’s a very limited menu now. The first thing we ordered was a special appetizer, a spinach artichoke dip. The spinach was not chopped & the leaves were stingy & difficult to chew, and the appetizer was so salty it was inedible. We had to send that back. Everybody thought their food was OK but nothing special. I ordered the eggplant steak at the recommendation of our server and it was very mediocre. I’m so disappointed because I loved this restaurant before the pandemic. The service was pretty good but It’s just not what it used to be.

    Quaint little patio with great service and one of the best veggie chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Fantastic wine selection. Tasty, flaky croissants. Went for brunch and will definitely return for dinner. Bit on the costly side but you get what you pay for here.

    Important note when evaluating reviews for Little Pine - Little Pine 1.0 under original ownership closed at the start of the COVID pandemic. Little Pine 2.0 opened after the pandemic under different ownership. The food at LP 1.0 was stellar. LP 2.0 is a mixed bag. - Parking can be a challenge. No valet, all street parking. Parking on a Fri / Sat night can be tough to find. - Restaurant is 100% outdoor seating with a mix of traditional tables and picnic tables (seats don't have any back rest). - Service is very good. Prompt, efficient, very friendly. - Food - one simple rule to follow here: avoid their pasta dishes. Everything else on the menu is very good. Can't go wrong with what you select as long as you don't pick a pasta dish. We ordered risotto and rigatoni. The risotto was simply the worst risotto ever made (didn't even use the proper rice and it was totally overcooked). The Rigatoni ended up being overcooked penne.

    Little Pine is our family's go to restaurant for family celebrations. The outdoor seating is very comfortable and the noise level is on the quiet side. The food is fresh and original. I highly recommend Little Pine!

    We loved sitting outdoors on the patio, it was very comfortable, the tables were well spaced apart, and the ambiance made for a delightful evening. We ordered several different dishes, all of them were delicious, and our waiter was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend Little Pine, and will surely return in the near future!

    I was visiting LA from Toronto and had been wanting to try Little Pine for years. Finally made it and it was all I had hoped for. Everything my partner & I tried, from appetizers through dessert, was creative, delicious, and presented beautifully. We sat on the lovely, quiet patio and felt very relaxed. Our server was cheerful and delightful! Very, very happy with the experience and will return when next in LA. Oh: we were there before it got dark and I think it must be just magical at night, under the twinkle lights. Next time!
