I LOVE this restaurant!!! Little Pine is a special little gem with excellent quality ingredients, a very friendly staff, and lovely ambiance. I dine here frequently for brunch and dinner and I give every single visit a five star experience.
I have been coming to Little Pine since the very first night it opened, and I've had everything on their menu except for one new item I will return to try on another night. They have good relationships with local farmers and get only the best organic and vegan ingredients. Everything is home made in their kitchen, including their nut-based "milks" and pasta. This place is my "Cheers"; everybody knows my name. I come here for my birthday every year. I rated the noise level as "moderate" because they have music playing that is chosen by the staff themselves, all good choices and at a perfect level (not too loud). They have the lights low and tea lite candles lit for dinner, so it's a little hard to read the menu, but I just hold the candle up to it. Others use the flashlight on their smartphones. Besides, I know the menu by heart (unless there's something new). The food and drinks are all excellent and 100% of the profit goes to animal rights organizations.
This was my second visit to Little Pine and it won't be my last. The food is fantastic, the ambience is laid back, service is fantastic. All proceeds go to animal organizations.
Are you kidding… I’m a New Yorker and this place Has some of the best vegan food that I have ever eaten. Worth every bit of traffic, friendly staff, worthwhile cause as they give all of their profits to pet charity..... Simply fabulous
My friend and I were in LA for one night and she is vegan, I am not. I had passed Little Pine on a walk on a prior trip and this was a great opportunity to try it out. The setting was extremely relaxing and the service was friendly. Fun cocktail selection and the food was great even for me a non vegan foodie. The smores chocolate ganache was Awesome! Would definitely dine here again...
The appetizers and entrees were just amazing!! The only thing my girlfriend and I thought was weird was the waitress who served us. She started off very attentive to us in the beginning and got our food to us promptly, but when it came time for dessert she was absent and didn’t give us the chance to place an order. In her defense there was a big party that had just come in, but at the same time she still made time for the tables around us and we even had an empty table,so it just left us with a bad impression after that. Regardless of that we love coming here and will be back for brunch and dinner in the future!
Great space housed in an Art Deco building. The staff was very warm and friendly. My first visit to. Vegan restaurant and the food is as good and creative. I found the food to be a bit on the pricey side.
The food is so amazing. I cannot wait to try more of the menu.
Creative vegan dishes in a bright, casual atmosphere. The staff was very friendly & inviting. It was fun sitting close to the other tables and discussing what other people were eating with them. The food was delicious, well constructed and nicely presented. It felt good knowing all of the profits go to support animal rights.
amazing all around experience. Food was good quality for a great value
The food is absolutely delicious. Amazingly flavorful and innovative vegan dishes made our dinner one to remember. The potato leek soup was fantastic and the stuffed shells had a sauce that was rich and satisfying. The staff was attentive and warm - from busboy to manager and everyone in between. I know this is effusive, but it was that good! We can’t wait to go back.
My husband, daughter and son n and I came in for brunch before my daughter left to go back to school. We all loved it! Even my meat eating son says he wants to come back!
Love this place. The food was amazing and 100% of the profit goes to animal organization. Could not be happier.
It’s was a wonderful experience at Little Pine. We have been before and I always have to get the meal and the dessert cause it’s all so amazing. Although the portions aren’t huge the food is always so yummy! The service is always great and I love the ambiance of the restaurant!
This was our second time here.
We celebrated my wife's birthday. Would highly recommend if you are looking for vegan restaurants.
everything was nice but the service just seemed so blah. Oh this is your first time, we suggest ordering 3 items. that's it. didn't bring creamer for the coffee or say one extra word.
The potato and leek soup is INSANE, could eat it every day. I met a friend here on a Sunday night, and it was very noisy. A little hard to hear each other over all the other diners, but just goes to show how popular it is. I think a little more space between tables would help. I felt elbow to elbow with the other parties around. Everything we ate was delicious, and the waitress was very helpful at pin pointing what I could eat on a more restrictive diet. We felt a little neglected later on during the meal and had to flag them down for water, clearing plates, etc. But, like I said, it was pretty hopping. Will definitely come back, probably on a weekday/night though! The atmosphere is adorable too, very cozy and intimate.
I've been to Little Pine twice now and I can't wait to go again. I live in San Diego and I've woken up on weekend mornings seriously contemplating a drive to LA just for Little Pine. It's that good.
The service was very good, personable waitress, attentive, easy to order refills, etc. The food itself was trying a little too hard. I wasn't a fan of their putting sausage in the tofu scramble. The French toast would've done fine without being drenched in cream. And the taste of matcha on a chocolate donut is really disgusting.
My favorite vegan restaurant in Los Angeles. Great atmosphere and delicious food!
Loved the food, and loved the idea for animals benefiting from the profit.
The restaurant was a gem! In a city where it is easy to find quality vegan food, this menu really stood out and was worth the trek to Silver Lake.
The menu was well curated, with a strong showing of items that were also gluten free or catered to those with food sensitivities and allergies.
The only notable downside was a side effect of the limited liquor license, but the menu was still labeled as cocktails. It was slightly misleading. (So we just switched over to wine because the meal was so good that no one really cared, but we all were a bit confused)
This place is a comfort foodie’s dream...oh, and it just happens to be vegan! Bravo Moby & team for creating a beautiful, cozy space with thoughtful, delicious compassionate cuisine! And always get dessert!
Little pine is truly a gem of a neighborhood restaurant thats friendly and welcoming, and most importantly serves incredible food. I’d recommend going for brunch - had the scramble twice now. Or for an intimate dinner with friends/ date - Mac and cheese and the Brussels sprouts, yes please!
The chocolate chip cookies are the best I’ve ever had. Until next time!
I'm not a vegan but every dish is tasty and worth eating no mater if you have dietary restrictions or not. We sat out on the patio and were made to feel us and our dog were welcome.
Little Pine is amazing!
This is the second time my husband and I have been to Little Pine. The first time the waitress spilt water all over my husband (clearly an accident). This last time we both ordered the french toast and it looked amazing. The waiter did not bring us any syrup and we asked for some. My husband said that he saw the waiter grab syrup from a dirty dish and bring it to us. I asked him if that was really what happened and he said that he was pretty sure that's what he saw, but couldn't confirm it. My french toast was fully cooked, but my husbands was still soggy and under cooked. I could already tell that my husband was unhappy with the quality so we just got our bill, paid and left. I will never return or recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Thank you Moby for such an incredible restaurant! Your compassion for our animal friends is infectious and I enjoyed every minute of the restaurant and its wonderful eats.
Little Pine has always been a favorite of ours since it opened. Always great food selection and service top notch.
This was my 2nd visit to Little Pine and I've enjoyed everything I had on both occasions.
The food is creative, fresh & unique. The coffee was great too.
I love this restaurant! Food is amazing, ambiance is nice! Also, the profit goes to animal organizations, how cool is that from Moby?!
Delicious food. You'd never notice it was vegan, but thank goodness there's a restaurant where vegans don't have to search through the menu for something yummy that they can eat. There are so many great choices, from appetizers through dessert. Excellent drink choices; even the coffee was fantastic. The food is made to share, the room is sweet - though a bit on the too dark side - the music was just the right volume to add to the ambiance without distracting from the conversation, the thoughtful touches of pillows to lean back on, personal blankets thrown over the back patio chairs if you choose to sit outside, and attentive but not intrusive servers. It's not cheap, but worth it if you're looking for a special meal.
The stuffed shells were delicious but I don’t think the dishes should be marketed as “family size”. They definitely are not big enough to feed more than 1-2 people. We got a few dishes to share but we should have just all ordered our own entree. Other than that I.t was excellent service and food. I’d go back again for the stuffed shells
Absolutely adore this restaurant! The ambiance is romantic and laid-back. Very cozy seating indoors with dim lighting. As soon as you walk in, you are embraced with amazing aromas of food. The menu has a variety of big and small plates, as well as a creative list of mixed drinks and delicious desserts! The caesar salad has become a fave and we were quite impressed with the king trumpet scallops. We had the banana cream pie and it was beyond heavenly! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Our first visit to little time and it meant every expectation. Cannot wait to visit again when we come back to LA.
Excellent food. Too dark, and too noisy when I was there. Excellent service. Parking was good. I'd say brighter lights, softer music, and you'll get more people over 50. They got the money and love spending it when they feel welcome.
Excellent food even for a non-vegan. Desserts are outstanding !
It was such a long very experience
Fantastic food, great service, nice atmosphere, vegan, profits go to animal welfare, easy parking. All in all, just a tremendous experience. The desserts were especially impressive.
delicious food and drinks!
