What Insiders Are Saying
A Tribeca restaurant from Andrew Carmellini that belongs on your Hit List, if not your bucket list.
I took my sister here for her birthday and had a lovely evening. From the well-made cocktails to the delectable Fossil Farm Roast Pork with mole sauce everything was spot-on, particularly our sommelier, Kara, who delivered perfect pairings along with effervescent personality.
The staff and food at Little Park left nothing to be desired. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts!
Beautiful presentation paired with amazing textures and taste. I could not have had a better experience at a restaurant. The staff was attentive and patient. Jose deserves a mention for his wonderful recommendations and service. Thank you Little Park, I will visit you again.
Loved it. Great suggestions and excellent food. Comfortable booths were an excellent seating option
For the last four months I have been in and out of hospital, nearly died and missed my birthday. For the first time in 4 months we picked this restaurant to have a lovely breakfast for my birthday. On entering I felt bad as we sat st the perfect table but a noisy patron was there, I felt bad but I asked to be moved.
I asked our server about the sandwich, I am Irish so maybe it’s a terminology thing but he said it’s toast breaded. It arrived and it was $19 for a burger bun, awful end of tomato and an egg. I showed my disappointment and asked for some toast. The server came back walked over to the person who sat us and made some derogatory comments. Honestly it made me feel the worst.
They then at 9am served us a scoop of ice cream which was sweet but it’s 9am and it sat and melted. There was no apology. The place was nearly empty so they had time to care.
I was looking for a upper class establishment for my birthday and I'm glad I decided to go to Little Park.
The inside is absolutely wonderful, the waiters are helpful, and the desert is out of the world! Make this a definite stop if you are in NYC.
Food quantity small for the price. Had to ask for water and coffee refill. Food was delicious though most importantly.
Loved it! Food is wonderful! Service was exceptional!
This is just a lovely place. Everything about it is refined, yet casual. The space is contemporary and clean, with well-chosen, comfortable seating, tables, and lighting. The service is beyond reproach--a well-trained waitstaff is one of the most important aspects of a good restaurant--and here, it is topnotch. The menu is truly inventive--lovely combinations of flavors, new ideas. I had sea bass with pork belly and clams--it was absolutely perfect; the fish done to the second, the balance of flavors and textures remarkable. Dessert was a lime Pavlova surrounded by perfectly cut segments of fresh citrus--light, and an ideal way to end dinner. I loved it. All that said, Little Park is VERY expensive, with entrees starting at upward of $32.00. Add an appetizer, dessert, or wine, and you're way up there. I don't mind spending money for good food, but others might prefer to save up for a special occasion.
Unexpected gem! What beautiful presentation, flavor, and experience. I was a little taken aback by the prices and small menu as I just selected this restaurant and went on on a random weekday. Place looked beautiful and service was great.
Every bite and sip of my cocktail was absolutely worth every single penny and more. Five stars to the chef and great attentive service.
I would highly recommend and will happily be back.
A quaint restaurant in Tribecca. Ideal for a business breakfast. Quiet, not crowded. The menu is complete but also more interesting than the standard breakfast. Had the smoked salmon and bagel. A really generous portion of salmon.
I love Little Park, but something has changed. The food seemed less refined and more thrown on the plate. My risotto, which I have loved, was actually chunky. And the tuna crudo was unappealing and looked dead.
I will be back, but I hope you will be back too.
We were in NY for 5 nights and went to some of the best NY restaurant recommendations - to my mind this was the best; expensive, but beautifully combined and flavoured food.
I really enjoyed dinner here. I had Brussels sprouts as my appetizer - wowowow!! Truly spectacular. I had the duck entree - also memorable. Great cocktails at the bar to start - and good pacing to the service. I can’t wait to go back.
We were there for brunch on a Sunday. The room was only half-full, but the service was awful. Our server would go missing for fifteen minutes at a time, and while other servers would volunteer to help, they never followed through on any of our requests. It took 20 minutes for our drink order to be filled; the coffee cups on our table were left empty after repeated requests for refills. That said, the food was very good. If only the front of the house can be brought up to the performance standards of the kitchen.
I really appreciate the diverse menu that can easily accommodate for variety of dietary restrictions. Thoughtful vegetarian/vegan dishes are always a delight.
I thought the beet dish was very interesting. The tortellini dish was conceptually cool but taste did not live up to expectation. The steak was a bit too salty for my taste and the potato was way too dry.
Cocktails were solid.
Food wise the experience was above average for a restaurant at this price point but nothing spectacular.
My only complaint about the dinner was the service. Wait staff was mostly absent after initial order.
Wanted to order a wine after finishing my cocktail to pair with my main but couldn’t find a wait staff. Eventually I did manage to order the glass of wine but it came as I was finishing my main so the timing was poor.
Also after the bread and appetizer courses our dishes were not cleared so when the mains came it was a bit of a shuffle to make room and clear the table.
The waiter clearly forgot about swapping out the silverware for the steak main so the exchange was done quite haphazardly after the dish has already arrived.
Food was delicious. Went for lunch with 2 colleagues - one had the risotto, one had the trout and I had the steak, and we all cleared our plate.
Very good. Pretty expensive
Food was terrific. Background music terrible!
This was the third time I've had a meal at Little Park, and the first two were outstanding. Not so much this time: I had come here for lunch two weeks earlier (during Restaurant Week) and loved the butternut squash soup (w peanut, turnip, curry leaf, & an emulsion), and was looking forward to having that soup again. So I ordered it again, but it was so heavily doused with strong curry that I had to send it back—it tasted nothing like the flavorful, delicate butternut squash soup I'd had here he last time. (I wonder if there was a different chef in the kitchen this time.) I replaced it with the heirloom beets w ancho chili, tiny dollops of whipped avocado, and beet chicharron, but found the beets rather bland and the beet chicharron a bit unpleasant. However, the crispy brussels sprouts and the risotto (w taleggio, black truffle, and vin cotto) were both excellent. Which just goes to prove that a satisfyling meal depends upon the particular dishes you order. I'll come back, but next time I'll ask more questions before I order.
Valentines Day Dinner - Service, Ambience, and Food- all were great. Lovely place for a special night out. Recommend.
Jose Was Awesome !
Perfect atmosphere, with the best service and food. Pork hash is a must, along with their almond iced latte!
Love this little gem...always good food, service and ambiance. We love it here.
It was such a great meal and beautiful ambiance to catch up with my brother!
Came here for a Restaurant Week lunch. Super nice staff. A very classy place. The food was absolutely delicious but the portions were a bit small, hence 4 stars instead of 5. Not sure if that was because it was the RW menu or if the portions are always like that. But aside from that, it was a fantastic experience.
Had a wonderful meal here during Restaurant Week. Food was absolutely delicious a beautifully presented. The service was impeccable and friendly, and it was wasn't load, which is a must for soft-spoken people like me. We'll definitely be back!
A friend suggested Little Park and I loved it! Went for Restaurant Week and the menu selection was fabulous. The presentation and the food was really outstanding. Our server was sweet and professional, I loved the layout of the place, altogether very impressed and would go back again. Already recommended to a friend in the area.
Lunch was incredible. Food was amazing!
Menu is limited but tasty! Decor is beautiful and the homemade bread is can't miss.
Great food, good service. (Only downside was the coat check / reception lady not being around when I arrived and having to wait a while looking around for a host / anyone to pay attention when I was already late for dinner). Restaurant week dinner menu - great food but probably not worth the cost. Nice ambiance. Autumn leaves cocktail was well-worth it.
Lovely place! Warm welcome, professional service and finally a restaurant where you can actually understand what your dining companions are saying even though the place was packed! Just great acoustics.
Good food and well run
The food was delicious and fresh. The waiter was attentive and very knowledgable about the menu. Excellent experience overall.
Petite halte très appréciable pendant notre visite du sud de Manhattan, le brunch était délicieux et copieux ! Le tout dans un très beau décor, avec un service irréprochable. On le recommande !!
Discovered this Zagat recognized gem on a cold afternoon - the warm, green space was inviting and comfortable - the attentive service was excellent. We enjoyed the wide selection of brunch dishes. Our food was delivered fast and was delicious
When we were arrived, a passing server told us that we would have to wait to be seated. We hadnt even asked to be seated yet. Ot was a very abrupt greeting. Once we were seated, it took forever for a server to come to our table. He dropped the menus and took drink orders, then someone else took delivered the drinks, and we didn’t see the server again for more than 10 minutes. When we ordered food and asked for substitutions due to dietary restrictions, we got a lot of “we don’t substitute that” kinds of answers. It felt pretty cold. I’ve had this experience often at breakfast at this restaurant.
Food was very good, decor and service was pleasant. I found the music an odd choice and on the expensive side for small portions.
Lovely, well located, excellent food, great service, and quiet enough for a conversation (so un-NYCish in that regard). Had a breakfast meeting with a friend and colleague and it was a real treat to be able to eat and chat leisurely.
I was disappointed in our brunch experience at Little Park. I had emailed about my gluten allergy and the manager had emailed that they could accommodate my food allergy. I alerted the server and asked to confirm the omelette was indeed gf. He said yes, and then was confused about what gluten was but said he’d double check with the chef. The wrong entrees were brought to our table and the gentleman delivering them was quite confused and insisted it was what we ordered, when it was not. We found our waiter who checked our orders and switched them out to the right ones but also looked confused again. Our water glasses were refilled and there was a hair in the water and we never saw our waiter again to mention it to him. The food was ok, but I expected better service from a place this expensive.
