What Insiders Are Saying
A Tribeca restaurant from Andrew Carmellini that belongs on your Hit List, if not your bucket list.
The food was amazing! And the kitchen was easily able to accommodate our dietary restrictions.
Six of us sat comfortably and had a great meal at Little Park. Andrew Carmellinis inventive menu is satisfying and beautifully presented! Love Little Park!!!
Great salads! Awesome trout with raisins and vegetables! Awesome ravioli! Cannot say enough positives about quality of food and the friendly and professional service!
The Spring Menu was very curated...season driven and the food was all beautifully presented and delicious. My oysters were great and the duck was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was a little shaky. Our server seemed nervous and unsure of himself. Once our entrees were dropped off, he never returned to check on us or to see if we wanted another glass of wine. And he brought our check with dessert, so it was almost as if he was implying that it was time for us to pay and go. Ambiance was lacking a bit and quite boring and beige for a "downtown" restaurant...it felt very much like an upscale hotel restaurant in Anytown, USA.
Food was excellent, service was extremely attentive. Highly recommended.
Very good food; service for brunch was fine. They seemed to be a bit overwhelmed at first, but no issues.
Made a last minute reservation and luckily they were able to accommodate us. Had been there one time before and this was an equally good experience. Interesting menu in lovely decor. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend for a nice evening out.
The food is consistently excellent at Little Park and it’s a lovely ambiance.
2019 05 25: Ariel, Anne and I: we shared two apps: heart of palm and fava bean salad. I had the halibut, which was very good; Anne had the cavatelli with lamb, very good; Ariel had the morel ravioli, also very good. I had the chardonnay by the glass, which was good. I had an Amaro Sibilla after dinner, which was good.
We’re lucky that Little Park is in our neighborhood! They change the menu frequently and there’s always something for vegetarians on the menu. Also great service and creative cocktails!
Food is awesome. Service is great. Wine and booze lists are terrific.
I arranged to meet colleagues at Little Park to go over some business issues. This was a great venue for that. The food was excellent. Service was good. Wine was good. I very much liked the look and the feel of the restaurant. Dinner took a little longer to come out than I would have liked, but fortunately we were busy chatting anyway. The noise level was such that conversation was easy. I will certainly go again.
I had a very memorable brunch. Excellent service and food.
Service very slow from waiting to be seated, to having orders taken, all needs to be more responsive
Great service & good food. Nice selection of food & specials.
This is my favorite restaurant in New York City. I feel so welcome, and the food is sensational. I only have one piece of advice. If the server tells you of a remarkable desert, one you look forward to all through the meal, you should order it when you order your apps and your main. But when I was there a few nights ago, the raspberry flans were all gone by the time we were ready to order dessert. We had joked about eating the flan first, before our crudo and the other joys of our meal. We should've done that. Now I know. So, I had the exquisite pavlova and was very happy.
So. Cheers to the staff and the chef for providing me and my best pals a consistently joyous, sophisticated, quiet, thoughtful dining experience.
We had a wonderful meal here. Food was fantastic, unique presentations all delicious.
The restaurant was empty and our food took a very long time and came out cold. Because we were headed to a show there was no time to have this addressed as we had to rush our meal.
The food was great, but the front of house needs some help. We had a 9:30p dinner reservation and waited almost 45mins for our table. Kind of defeats the purpose of a reservation. The service was slow and it took away from the overall experience.
Lovely delicious elegant but not fussy. All dishes yummy.
Our dinner embodied the beginning of spring without being faddish - asparagus, ramps, morels, and more in ways it never would have occurred to me to make and some past my skill level. Our charming and efficient waitress guided us well, including warming me off a wine I didn’t like when she gave me a sample and to a delicious wine in the same price point. The room is uplifting. Only disappointment was dessert which was beautiful but not very flavorful. The bill was a surprise - I expected it to be much more.
Excellent service and great food
Overpriced and ubderportioned. Though I had a reservation for 4, hostess tried to seat us at high tables in bar area, where it was noisy and people were hanging over the the tables. Had to complain to.manager to get a normal table.
Food was good jut not great. Portions of striped bass entree were tiny -- barely appetizer size -- and overpriced. Brussel sprouts starter was generous but average.
Restaurant living on chef's reputation, not it's own merits. Overall, no reason to return.
Cute spot, nice ambience. Food and service was great.
Outstanding food, service and drinks. What more could anyone ask for?
Little Park is very pleasant and the food is good, but the prices are out of line even for New York. Most things were 20% more than I am normally comfortable paying. For example, a modest portion of Risotto, at lunch was $30.00. We spent over $100 dollars for two entrees, a dessert, and two bottles of sparkling water. No alcohol, no coffee. At lunch. The food quality was good, and the staff was attentive; there were only two other customers while we were there. Price is the problem.
For a casual brunch, it's very good. For special food or atmosphere, it's just ok. The one really excellent aspect was the service--quite attentive servers and a maitre d' who checked in for additional requests.
Unfortunately super slow service and just decent food for the price.
Good food, moderate noise, attentive staff, great location.
The food was outstanding. Creative and delicious. Wonderful special dinner for our New York holiday
I took my sister here for her birthday and had a lovely evening. From the well-made cocktails to the delectable Fossil Farm Roast Pork with mole sauce everything was spot-on, particularly our sommelier, Kara, who delivered perfect pairings along with effervescent personality.
The staff and food at Little Park left nothing to be desired. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts!
Beautiful presentation paired with amazing textures and taste. I could not have had a better experience at a restaurant. The staff was attentive and patient. Jose deserves a mention for his wonderful recommendations and service. Thank you Little Park, I will visit you again.
Loved it. Great suggestions and excellent food. Comfortable booths were an excellent seating option
For the last four months I have been in and out of hospital, nearly died and missed my birthday. For the first time in 4 months we picked this restaurant to have a lovely breakfast for my birthday. On entering I felt bad as we sat st the perfect table but a noisy patron was there, I felt bad but I asked to be moved.
I asked our server about the sandwich, I am Irish so maybe it’s a terminology thing but he said it’s toast breaded. It arrived and it was $19 for a burger bun, awful end of tomato and an egg. I showed my disappointment and asked for some toast. The server came back walked over to the person who sat us and made some derogatory comments. Honestly it made me feel the worst.
They then at 9am served us a scoop of ice cream which was sweet but it’s 9am and it sat and melted. There was no apology. The place was nearly empty so they had time to care.
I was looking for a upper class establishment for my birthday and I'm glad I decided to go to Little Park.
The inside is absolutely wonderful, the waiters are helpful, and the desert is out of the world! Make this a definite stop if you are in NYC.
Food quantity small for the price. Had to ask for water and coffee refill. Food was delicious though most importantly.
Loved it! Food is wonderful! Service was exceptional!
This is just a lovely place. Everything about it is refined, yet casual. The space is contemporary and clean, with well-chosen, comfortable seating, tables, and lighting. The service is beyond reproach--a well-trained waitstaff is one of the most important aspects of a good restaurant--and here, it is topnotch. The menu is truly inventive--lovely combinations of flavors, new ideas. I had sea bass with pork belly and clams--it was absolutely perfect; the fish done to the second, the balance of flavors and textures remarkable. Dessert was a lime Pavlova surrounded by perfectly cut segments of fresh citrus--light, and an ideal way to end dinner. I loved it. All that said, Little Park is VERY expensive, with entrees starting at upward of $32.00. Add an appetizer, dessert, or wine, and you're way up there. I don't mind spending money for good food, but others might prefer to save up for a special occasion.
