Meatballs are an absolute must try.
Great food. Interesting vibe, but would go back because of food
love the place. love the food. wait staff tends to ignore you or rush you after food is served.
Great food! Awesome ambiance outside on the back patio. Loved it!!!
Quaint little place. The appetizers and desserts were very good. My husband enjoyed his lamb / pasta dish. I went with the meatballs and polenta. The polenta was quite tasty ... however, the meatballs were salty and I could not eat them. The service was great. Would recommend.
Cute, casual place but small- you can easily hear the conversation of the next table. Appetizers were pretty good - burrata with bread (which was burnt) and the arancini was tasty and well prepared. The spaghetti and meatballs which is their signature dish was a disappointment- pasta was overcooked, sauce was spicy, but the meatballs (which were huge) were pretty good. I would have preferred a smaller portion that was cooked properly. Service was friendly and efficient.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Great service too and a good vibe
Wonderful hand made pasta without the normal stale and stuffy atmosphere you get with top quality home style Italian. Unique and fresh takes on some menu items while mastering the basics. It was a wonderful meal!
Delicious food, cute space, great service! I had the pan seared gnocchi and the tiramisu... Drool worthy!
Mother’s Day prix fixe brunch menu was great!
Mother’s Day Brunch at Little Nonna’s was perfect. The food was delicious, great Bloody Marys and mimosas, and it is very cute!
Good food and a great staff
Great food, small restaurant with some tables outside (covered) in the back. Easy to find something for children since pasta and meatballs are always available.
Always an amazing experience going to this place. It is our favorite!
Excellent food and great ambiance. They were gracious in accomading our timing for a show. Will def go back!
We loved the food and service was very good. It is a small, tables close together, thus the noise level
was HIGH! At. 5:45 pm when we arrived, nearly every table was occupied by boisterous, hungry diners.
Nonetheless, we will return.
One of the best restaurants we have ever been to! We were visiting Philadelphia and were so happy to come across this beautiful place. We sat outside which was a lovely seating area in the back. We ordered the rigatoni, spaghetti marinara and garlic bread. Absolutely delicious and would definitely come back again!
Cute ambience. So delicious. Large portions. Loved the eggplant parmigiana appetizer. Spaghetti and meatballs amazing. Shrimp over squid ink pasta- yum. You won’t be disappointed. Make a reservation, not a large place
The service was attentive and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Good value prix fixe lunch at $20. Had the lamb neck radiatore. Though good flavors, seemed a bit oily. Excellent made in house cannolo.
Asked for a quiet table to talk. Chose Nonna’s because I believed it was small and quiet. We were seated in an enclosed back yard patio. So noisy could not talk. Average food at average prices. Very expensive limited wine list. Above average service. A disappointment.
Ate there 2 nights in a row, loved the presentation of food and flavor of dishes. The grilled Octopus and Lamb pasta were a treat!
Be on time!
This is a hot restaurant in a small space. They almost gave away our table as my cousin was barely on time- word to the wise, Don’t be late. Loved the salmon and shrimp pasta with squid ink. Not overpriced for Center City. Great find!
Chef must have forgotten to season the dishes. Bland pasta dishes.
Amazing staff, Chef is one of the best if not the best. Food was amazing!!!!!
Just ok - better Italian at other Phila. restaurants
Amazing food, authentic and delish! Would go to again and again when I’m back in Philly. Only complaint was the pasta was out in less than 10 minutes after ordering and we felt a bit rushed to get out of there for the next table to be seated.
Always a great meal AND service!
Didn't expect such a great meal. Easy walk to the Academy of Music. Would highly recommend, especially for a pre-show meal.
This has recently become a favorite lunch place for us during occasional visits to Philly. The menu is limited but everything feels fresh and tasty. A hybrid between homecooking and familiar Italian dishes. The portions are generous so it is very good value. But tough then to make room for a dessert... The service is pleasant and helpful.
We love this restaurant! The food was amazing and loved the atmosphere! This will be a new staple for us! Great neighborhood restaurant!!
This is a really fun spot and I would come again...it is casual innovative and very good. Great service.
Absolutely incredible food. I love their garlic bread and meatballs!!!! All of their pastas are sooo light and perfect. My boyfriend got the nonnas gravy and it was also amazing!
Food was fabulous! The waitress friendly and helpful. Cushions on the garden benches would be nice and having an espresso machine would complete the experience.
Very good but limited menu
Great as usual
The wild mushroom arancini may be—without exaggeration—the best thing I’ve ever eaten.
Little Nonna’s was great- I highly recommend the gnocchi, octopus and rice balls....really good! Our waitress was awesome - friendly, energetic and very helpful. The restaurant is small and somewhat dark, but has a pleasant ambiance. While the crowd there was lively, my wife and I could still hear each other.......we’ll definitely be back!
Visiting Philly for a long weekend. Staff very friendly and efficient with great recommendations. Would definitely return!
Everything was outstanding! Food tasted home made from Momma's kitchen and the staff was all smiles and welcoming.
