Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm
Sunday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm
All good except they forgot to confirm my reservation and didn’t get the points :-(
We had a great meal. It was as good as expected. The meatballs and gnocchi are so tasty. The Citrus olive oil cake was a great finish. The service was very good. I recommend sitting on the patio.
Very good. Get the gnocchi; it was light and wonderful. And the”Sunday Gravy” was extra good.
Little Nonna’s has been my favorite restaurant for five years now since I’ve lived in Center City. It’s a romantic, wine-drinking, spaghetti-filled spot! Love it.
Accommodating with birthday requests and wonderful food as always!
While I have raved about Little Nonna's in the past, our dinners this time were just so-so. Perhaps we selected badly, or it was just a night when the chef was off, or something. Two of us tried the squid-ink linguini with shrimp and found it particularly lacking. We will go back again but maybe stick to the dishes we have loved before, e.g. Sunday gravy.
Little Nonna's never disappoints. Great food, great atmosphere!
Little Nonna’s helped make our 4 year anniversary a magical experience.
Just as delicious as we remembered! My fiancé and I were back in Philadelphia (we used to live there) and Little Nonnas was one of three places we made sure to snag a reservation at ahead of time. Didn’t disappoint! We shared a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs (oh those meatballs!) and the Pasta dish with vodka sauce. Service was excellent and the back garden patio made for a particularly enjoyable dining experience.
Little Nonna's is a tradition for us when we visit Philly since it is so close to our hotel. I love, love, love the decor. We have noticed the huge meatballs but we are not big meat eaters. There are usually one or two fish options on the menu that satisfy us. They are great about trying to accommodate walk-ins but it is very popular. I recommend a reservation.
Excellent meal! The best Italian food I have ever had.
Awesome food. Great place for old school Italian ie eggplant parm, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread.
Dinner was very reminiscent of a meal at my husband’s nonna’s home. The garden was lively, if a little loud for close conversation. Service was great!
Known for their outstanding meatballs, but great overall food. We sat in the "Garden" and it was a little warm, but had a great feel to it. Wonderful restaurant for fresh Italian food.
Really fantastic food. The waiter recommended me the Gnocchi and I'm SO glad I had it. My girlfriend and I are also Tiramisu people and this was probably the best we've ever had. Excellent restaurant!
Tables too close
Nothing special about the food
A dud in Philly’s great Italian dining scene. Terrible service - three different servers in the course of one meal with shifts changing at 7pm - and very average food. One bathroom for the entire restaurant means long lines.
The restaurant unfortunately had a problem with their air conditioner which made for an unpleasant experience. However, the food was also simply not good. The quality of the Sunday Gravy meal was underwhelming. Taste was bland, meatball a little burnt. The Caesar salad was not even good. Overall, poor and will not go back.
Restaurant was sweltering due to the patio door opening every ten seconds. Food was fine but not great and came out from the kitchen actually too fast. Service was good but not particularly notable. Overall the experience seemed a little stale and like they are somewhat phoning it in.
Spaghetti with crabs is a real treat, taking me back to my roots, reminiscent of lazy summer days. Little Nonna’s nailed it.
One of the best Italian in the city. Cozy, warm, insanely delicious food.
What a disappointment! The descriptions in the menu did not match what we were served. Where was the buffalo mozzarella in the minimal portion of grilled peaches caprese? The pasta is on the over cooked side and often drowned in too much sugary tomato sauce. The rigatoni were correct but the Sunday gravy served nonna style would only deserve such name if your grandma imitates Olive Garden food. A very expensive restaurant for very basic food court mall Italian-American interpretations of Italian cuisine. Not worth it all all.
We dined here at the recommendation of a friend and had a lovely meal. Everything we tried we loved and would order again. Don't sleep on the meatballs! They're out of this world.
Delicious food, great service, looking forward to making time to come back!
Went to Little Nonnas for a double date on lunch on a Saturday afternoon. They sat us outside in their covered patio area which was great. We started with the meatballs and arancini as appetizers and both were incredible. The truffle butter with the arancini was delicious! For meals we ordered the pork sandwich (I didn’t get to try that one), the chicken Parm sandwich which was one of the best I’ve ever had, I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka which I would order 100 more times and my girlfriend ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Italian! We’ll be back for sure.
Food was very good, moderately priced. We were sat outside and the back of the restaurant has a sunroom type outdoor area that was at least 98 degrees. It made the entire experience very unpleasant. I would not recommend anyone sitting outside, especially during the summer months.
Great food. Huge plate of spaghetti and 2 meat balls. I suggest you split the plate or just get the meatball appetizer. If it is hot outside don’t sit at table next to the door to the patio.
I went with a friend for the $20 lunch tasting menu and it was amazing. The portions were appropriately sized, the food came out quick and the service was good. This is the third time I have been to Little Nonnas and it gets better every time.
The food was tasty. I had the Rigatoni alla Vodka, which was tasty. My husband had linguine with sausage and clams; there were few clams and the meal was disappointing. We made the mistake of arriving early for our reservation and elected to eat outside rather than stand and wait for a table. It was too warm. Overall, not our best dining experience.
Staff was great and very accommodating. In the reservation I specified to have a table outside, and even though at first we were placed inside, upon request we were moved outside immediately. The only thing when I arrived there was no hostess.. for about 2 minutes.. and since the restaurant is tiny, I felt being a distraction to other customers who were enjoying their food and conversation right next to me..
Food was delicious - grazie!
Delicious meal! The spaghetti and meatballs are incredible and very generous portion sizes. Next time we’ll split the dish so we can try more of the appetizers and small plates. So good!
So my sister and I went to dinner here before we headed out for a night of fun because it was recommended by a few people as “the best Italian food since their mother’s cooking” - no joke. And boy, was that accurate!!! The decor was cozy and homey, though crowded. The space was tight as it is with a lot of Philly restaurants, but it didn’t take away from the great service and INCREDIBLE food. I will be going back very soon!
Great food and atmosphere. Can’t beat it
Enjoy dinner emensley!!! From beginning to the end
Another great dinner at Nonna's. I didn't know they had outdoor seating in the back. Perfect weather, good vibe. Enjoyable!
Great experience at Little Nonna’s. Try to get a seat at the patio if you could!
Interesting flavors. Good Caesar salad and pea rags pasta. I enjoyed the $20 tasting lunch menu.
Incredible service, fantastic food!
I was expecting more. Took a visitor to the city there. I ordered a gnocchi dish which while having veggies was a little skimpy. I could count the cherry tomatoes, corn kernels and beech mushrooms. Because I don’t eat meat, I didn’t order the popular spaghetti entree with meatballs. My OOT guest did not like it. We both loved the garlic bread and the Caesar salad with polenta croutons.
