Locally-sourced food imaginatively prepared. Really is in a "little house" so small, low-ceiling rooms make you feel like you have to whisper to avoid inflicting your conversation on everyone else in the room. $10 corkage fee per bottle seemed excessive.

I was disappointed in my steak, which was relatively expensive, meal was barely warm.

Food was we'll prepared and excellent. Wait staff personable. Glad we made reservations, they were lined up at the door! Can't wait to go back.

Went for valentines day. Was surprised to find a fixed menu, but maybe that was my fault. Not sure if it was indicated on open table or not. Disappointing.Food was decent, but nothing was served hot. She crab soup was lukewarm, steak was lukewarm. I will say the steak was cooked a great medium rare, just sat too long before service. Portions were small. Service was good, not remarkable. The following didn't happen to us, but it affected ambiance: our neighboring table had to send several dishes back. Multiple times the kitchen sent courses out before they had finished the prior course. Made the whole dinner seem rushed.Overall not awful but poor value. $65/plate without wine may be the most expensive dinner in Mobile, I expec

wonderful food, a little noisy, no liquor service so you can brown bag your own wine!

This was a great find... The food was very good. A little concerned that the waiter didn't know what some of the ingredients were on the special, which was Duck 2 Ways, but he did go and find out. The Duck was fantastic and the flavor from both the preparations was different and complimented each other. The Shrimp and Grits was a little small but was good.
We went on a Friday night and there were some larger parties, and since this is in an old house, the noise level was a bit loud when everyone got talking. The tables are a little close together so people had a little trouble moving to their tables while waiters were taking orders/delivering food.
We will definitely be returning.

These guys know what they're doing! Very creative and original without posing. Almost hate to share out of selfishness.
