Little Drunken Chef
Little Drunken Chef was born out of the idea to bring a unique flair to Westchester’s current dining landscape, offering a eclectic menu and social hub for patrons. The menu will feature tapas from distinct regions, while sourcing fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. There will also be a small selection of entrée‐sized portions, seasonal specials, and an oyster bar.
The idea is that this is a place where our guests step in and get an experience; they’re traveling with their palates. We can take you to three or four different countries in one visit.
marinated slow grilled chicken / pico de gallo / guacamole tomatillo / cilantro
grilled lamb / ground spices / pico de gallo / guacamole / white sauce / pickled onions
Food is always stellar and the ambience is a welcome sort of trendy. I think the service staff needs a little bit of a refresher on attentiveness.
i came with a reservation and the hostess told me it was invalid, as they only accept reservations for 5+. this was stated nowhere on OpenTable. i am extremely disappointed, as i have enjoyed this restaurant in the past, and it was a truly terrible experience.
Food was great, extensive bar but service was poor...appetizer came out before our drinks, all the main courses did not arrive together & staff members kept wanting to clear our dinner plates before everyone had finished eating.
Heat wasn’t working
Loved it! Would definitely go back!
Love the atmosphere; food and service were great!! Will definitely go back!!
Great food, friendly and knowledgeable staff - awesome sangria.
A nice variety of choices for happy hour as well as the regular menu. International offerings to share so we each get a taste of the interesting flavors and seasonings of the food. Bar tender was very animated and chatty. Have been back several times having different selections to share and taste. Nice size portions.
Server did not know that root beer was soda. Substituted my friends beer with root beer. Food was not as described in menu. Sangria with popsicle was not great. Nice concept but actual sangria was not good.
Casual and great service. Food was good and a lot of options to choose from. The food was creative, tapas was small portions. All was good except for the Mediterranean salad which was limp and old.
But everything else was good. Nice place if you’re looking for a casual dinner and you like tapas.
Service was a slow for a quiet Wednesday evening. Food delicious, drinks too - just slow in arriving.
This is an awesome place with great food and the decor is sheek. Good to go with family, friends who like to share, laugh and have a good time.
Short staffed. Waiter was also the host seating new arrivals. Couldn't take our order for four without multiple lengthy interruptions. Food was poorly prepared. Curry goat was entirely bones. Due to problems, waiter provided 10% off check. Little consolation. Won't return.
Always a good time there. Lively atmosphere
Worst time at a restaurant this year; perhaps ever.
Food was excellent as always but the restaurant ran out of menus and utensils so we had to wait for those. This didn’t affect our dining experience very much, just a little odd. I love that the vegan and gluten free options are very clearly marked on the menu.
The waiter forgot to bring over drinks from time to time but the food was brought very quickly. The restaurant definitely knew how to serve several large groups of people at the same time. I would definitely recommend going.
This restaurant is an enigma. The tapas-style food is actually very good, but I'm stunned by the consistent level of incompetence on the part of the wait staff. My wife, two adult sons and I went this weekend, and for the second straight visit, I was sitting there with no entrée while everyone else ate.
The first time this happened in December, we were out with two other couples, and the waiter literally just forgot to enter my entrée into their system, so I told him, and by the time they got it ready, everyone else at the table had finished, and I ate with everyone staring at me.
This time, I ordered the seared halibut entree, and the waiter entered halibut tacos into the system by mistake. So again, he had to correct it, and my entrée came when everyone in my family had finished. As if that wasn't enough, my wife and I had a large bottle of sparkling water, yet the bus boy came over and poured tap water into our sparkling water. We pointed that out and he said he'd get us another bottle, but he came back with a bottle of STILL water. At that point, it wasn't worth the effort to correct that mistake.
Based on the above, I could never recommend this restaurant with a straight face. The level of incompetence there is unusual and consistent. They are always apologetic and admit their mistakes, but I'm not willing to go back and potentially have a third straight entrée either not show up at all or have the wrong one served
Second time there very much enjoyed the food and service. Will definitely be back
The food was good but we made reservations for 8 pm and we were seated at 8:30 pm!!!
Manu and his team did a great job for our group of 18 for my daughters 13th birthday family dinner celebration. Food and service were very good. We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone to try.
Great atmosphere, a bit loud, but didn't matter because it was fun and delicious.
Everything we ordered was wonderful!
Will definitely be back!!
First time... But not last!
Wonderful overall experience! Started with a colorful sangria that came with a popsicle in it. It was pineapple Popsicles, with chunks of fresh pineapple in it. Sangria was fruity and delicious. Next, we ordered some tapas, the first one being tiger prawns in a spicy chili sauce. It was perfect. Sauce was exceptional. The crunchy bread that accompanied it was delicious dipped in the sauce. It was very addictive.
The Momos were next. The handmade dumplings were flavorful and tasty, with a hint of cilantro.
I loved the lemon grass wings! Very sticky and peanutty. Just perfect. The service was exceptional, and the taco flight was a delicious ending to our meal. Chicken, pork, lamb, succulent sauces, delicious meats. The manager and servers couldn’t have been nicer. Very efficient. We ended it with the perfect churros, accompanied by a caramel sauce. I loved everything I had. I can’t wait to go back and try something new!
Mom and daughter night
This restaurant is tons of fun on a Saturday night! It’s nice to have a restaurant where I can also get my dance on!!! The food was flavorful and the service was good.
Staff was welcoming and seemed pleased to wait on us, but plates were disappointingly small for the price and my salad was made wrong. They insisted on making me a new one although it was evident they took it in the back and threw some fresh greens on top because it wasn’t plated with as much attention to detail as when it first came out. Nice ambiance and good for light plates. Not so much when you’re starving. Was much more pleased with Little Crepe Street, definitely would visit there again.
Our food was delicious. The staff was great! Will definitely return and can’t wait until her White Plains location opens up. Btw music was a t a perfect level for enjoyment and conversation-so important!
Fun meal but waiter brought one friend’s meal 20 minutes after the rest of the 5 had been served. Had to be reminded 4 times that a meal was missing. And after all that not even a drink was comped. SMH
Excellent food, wonderful service, but noisy on Friday night! Much quieter at lunch.
Run of the mill. Tight tables. Loud. We only had the tapas food. Mediocre to poor.
Not my first time eating here, but some new menu updates that are great. The food is always delicious and there is such a great variety of items to choose from. Very inventive. Definitely a local favorite
Different choices of food , not the same old menu as other places and very tasty food. Great use of spices, everyone enjoyed the meal.
I have been here a number of times and have been more than pleased UNTIL...I went with an out of town guest last Sunday evening with an 8 PM reservation. We were not told when we arrived that the restaurant closed at 9 PM. We were seated towards the rear of the restaurant and ordered a glass of wine. After about 15 minutes, we had to signal that we hadn't received our drinks. Owner and waiters were very busy tacking up twinkling lights directly around us (for the Indian festival of lights - Diwali), pounding hard with a hammer. We were ignored until we signaled for our drinks and ordered our dinners. Noise level was quite unbearable and we asked them to please stop - they did not. Our dinners arrived without the poppadoms that we supposed to accompany our order. We asked, they eventually came along with the announcement that they close at nine and we had 10 more minutes to eat before we had to leave - our dinners had just arrived. Finally we asked them to just pack up the food and we would take it home and eat and to please call us a taxi. They did that, we stood outside for a good 15 minutes - no taxi came; a waiter who saw us freezing outside, finally came out, ran down the block and soon a car, NOT THE TAXI COMPANY they said was coming (Ernie's) arrived, drove us home (ALWAYS a $5 fare as I do it often) and charged us $11 when it got to my home. Most disappointed and embarrassed for my guest! Will I go back - I very much doubt it and it is a shame as up to now, I was a regular here.
The service was very good The person who attended us very friendly Everything was served on time as we requested
Food and atmosphere was amazing!! So many options and great drink menu.
Great food, not so great service. Tables are right up next to each other so not really great for a romantic night out unless you want everyone to hear everything you're saying
We went for an early dinner with a toddler. Food was tasty and service was good as well. We will be back.
The last time I was at LDC was in 2015, the food was amazing. I couldn’t stop talking about it. This time around I was very disappointed. Quality of food has gone down significantly. The chicken empanadas in particular. We felt like they came straight out of the freezer into a microwave. Very low quality. Too much bread no filling.
Was disappointed with my halibut which was small and dried out. My wife’s Channa saag was a bit blamd. Rest of food was okay to very good. Service very good and friendly. We’ve been multiple times. Good place. Food has possibly become hit and miss.
