About Little Alley Steak
A top-notch charcuterie. A full decanting service with an impressive wine list. A bourbon collection you wouldn’t believe. The newest edition to historic Roswell, Little Alley Steak, rivals the greatest of steakhouses including Peter Luger’s in New York or Bern’s in Tampa. Creators of top OTP hotspots, Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac are digging into the past to create a relaxed, late 1800′s-inspired space. The former antique shop has been transformed with refurbished brick, reclaimed wood and white subway tiles, track lighting fashioned from meat hooks and seating areas of booths and tables situated between low walls. The menu is top-notch, the drinks are divine, the atmosphere is warm and lively, and the experience is one you shouldn’t miss.

Little Alley Steak Ratings and Reviews
My wife and I went to this resturant for her birthday. This was our first there for any oxcasion. Our reservations were for 8:30. Our table wasn't ready and we went to the bar to wait. For 30 minutes, we were pushed around like we were in a mosh pit. There was nowhere to stand without being in the way of other patrons or the resturant wait and bus staff. We were seated for 15 minutes when the table next to use was seated with two couples whow were very load and had extremely foul language.we did our best to ignore them and enjoy our evening. After about an hour, one of the individuals excused himself and said he could not eat and abruptly left.
My wife and I both ordered dry aged steaks and a couple sides. The steaks had a wonderful flavor, but, the meat was a bit tough for the cut and the price. The corn we ordered was also very chewy as if it had cooked far too long.
This was our first and last time to this resturant. The noise was horrible as was the atmosphere. It was hardly the romantic evening we had in mind. Had the fire department come in I am certain they would have shut it down for overcrowding . There are other steakhouses in Atlanta that offer better food and atmosphere...simply overpriced and overcrowded.
Have eaten at many great places locally and around the country. Without question one of the very best steak meals I have had anywhere. Great dinner, had the NY Strip Prime and it was simply outstanding. My wife had the filet, cooked to perfection. Truly a terrific meal!! Melissa was our server and she was exceptional.
My brother recommended Little Alley Steak House as a nice place for me to take my wife for her birthday and as always he was on point. This place has an awesome menu, and the service was exquisite. We live in South Fulton so it was nearly an hour drive but well worth it. We will be back for sure.
Though the food was excellent, the service really impressed. Impeccable service by all of the wait staff. All are very attentive without being overbearing. Drinks and appetizers came quickly (such a treat now a days)! Working as a team without having to be asked or told. All were very kind and patient with our toddler’s antics. Such a pleasant experience would definitely bring us back again and again.
Besides the AMAZING food and drink, which I would say is likely the best steak you will find anywhere, it was the service that stood out just as much. Our server(s) was extremely attentive from beginning to end, made great recommendations, and answered our questions. We absolutely cannot wait to go back and share this experience with family and friends. Thanks Little Alley!
We frequent Little Alley and for good reason - wonderful food, attentive but not overbearing service, creative bar, and again, wonderful food! This isn't a place to go if you are pinching your pennies because you'll want to have all the things. And they will all be wonderful!
Very disappointing. Donielle, the manager, tried to make it a better evening but the steak wasn’t anywhere near worth it he price and standing while we waited 30-minutes past our confirmed reservation time in a tight space while others just sat with nothing on their tables made us feel unwelcome. With room for only 120 guests at capacity, This will always require a wait unless you get there at 4:30 or 9:00 PM.
I rarely write reviews but this was a uniquely poor experience. 25 minutes after our reservation time we were finally seated. The manager and servers were polite and made up for the wait with complementary appetizers and dessert. Unfortunately though when the main course (steaks) came out they were lukewarm temperature. The sides (mac n cheese and potatoes) were good but a bit overly rich. On the whole the experience was a dissapointment. Seems we were expecting too much.
My wife and I had reservations on Saturday evening. We were celebrating my birthday, which we usually do at Bones, but I decided to try something new this year. Big mistake.
When we arrived we were told that they were running behind. We didn't hear anything else from them for 20 minutes. I went back to the hostess stand and was told that our table was still not ready because other groups had arrived late for their reservations (that were 2 and a half hours earlier) and because groups were staying at their tables longer than expected.
We waited some more (with no decent place to wait in this packed restaurant) and then started calling other restaurants in the area to see what their wait times were. Finally, about 45 minutes after our reservation time, and after they could hear us calling other restaurants, they seated us. I don't think that was a coincidence.
To be fair, they offered us a free appetizer and salad because of the wait, and they gave me a dessert for my birthday. The food was also quite good. Service was also very good once we were actually seated. I gave the service two stars above because I included the awful reservation experience as part of service.
People are crammed into the restaurant like sardines. Atmosphere could be better, and it is very loud.
All in all, I would likely not go back to this restaurant, despite the good food, and certainly would not go back for a special occasion. Next year I'll go back to Bones, where reservations are honored and the customer service is far better. Food is better there too.
