Beautiful evening, very well priced entrees, great wine list. Highly recommend!
Service was definitely lacking on this visit! We arrived to celebrate our anniversary, were seated...then waited and waited. Finally server came and took our order and food was good, but not wonderful like we’ve experienced there in the past. Watched wait staff visiting with each other in the corner of the dining room while our beverage classes remained empty and plates sat waiting to be cleared. This happened after the first course, again after the main course and again after dessert as we waited for our bill. We’ve had excellent food and service here in the past, but this is our second visit in a row with less than great service. Sadly, we will remove this from our list of options to celebrate special occasions in the future.
Special Thank-you to Litchfield's for another great anniversary celebration dinner on Saturday evening. The food and drinks were outstanding as was the staff who took special care of us. Highly recommend this special restaurant. We love it there.
Always fantastic! Colleen is a fantastic server. Food is s is always fresh and outstanding. Every meal we’ve had there was wonderful!
It was great experience. We wanted to be outside but there was nothing available. Maybe next time
Waiter was great the feast was a nightmare.
Osso buco was excellent
We celebrated our 1st year anniversary at Litchfield's and we really enjoyed it! The food was fantastic and the service we very good. Thank you for making our 1st anniversary memorable and special.
My take is Litchfield’s is casual elegance. A fine dining experience in a casual atmosphere. Have enjoyed them before and will so again. Food and drinks are outstanding and the ambiance can’t be beat, in my opinion.
Colleen was once again a gracious and kind server. Our boys had a nice meal, and the beet salad was very tasty. The only complaint was the ribeye was a little fatty, but tasted good. We love coming here every year when we visit for spring break and plan on returning next year.
We are never disappointed. Best restaurant in the West Valley.
Excellent cuisine and service, sitting outside just past the bar--best in the area.
Excellence is the most descriptive evaluation. Food and service is absolutely perfect.
We were encouraged by other reviewers’ experiences and decided to give it a try. So glad we did-everyone enjoyed the ambiance and great service. The food was delicious, fresh, and not overly fussy, with great flavor combinations. The portion sizes were perfect and we had room for dessert.
Surpassed our expectations. Blown away with the food and service. Celebrated my mother’s 80th Birthday. Will definitely return.
Very much enjoyed our dinner! Dinner was excellent. Loved the history of the Wigwam Resort. Very friendly staff!
Litchfield's is our "go to" restaurant when family and friends come to town. The food is consistently excellent, very fresh and well prepared.
Best steak in the west valley. You pay more but it's worth it! Great service. There when you need it and transparent when you don't.
Probably the nicest restaurant in the area.
The place is beautifully decorated, the food and service was good, but the noise was too loud. There were two large tables near us with men drinking and they were very loud. We had a hard time talking to each other and is was very distracting. We're disappointed the manager didn't do something about it. Also, for the amount of food, the prices were too high. Disappointed in our first time.
Chicken was very tough but the server took it off our bill.
Great service, excellent food, and kid-friendly - a must while on holiday with the kids! We thoroughly enjoyed it, and will definitely be back!
Our group of 4 had a wonderful dining experience at Litchfield's. One member of our group is a vegetarian and has a food allergy, both of these elements were immediately acknowledged by our server, Jen. The food was outstanding, the service was fabulous and the ambiance was great. We will most definitely be returning to Litchfield's.
This was our first visit to Litchfield’s, Goodyear being a bit of a hike from Scottsdale. The journey was worth it. The Wigwam Resort, in which Litchfield's is located, takes one back to the Arizona of 100 years ago (2018 is the Wigwam's centennial year). The architecture and decoration captures that time very well. There are even some rugs on the wall from the Heard Museum. Dining at Litchfield's is a great experience. The dining rooms are not crowded and, for good days, there is a vast dining patio. The menu is not crowded, but is sufficiently diverse that there is something for everyone. I had a Mediterranean sea bass (Bronzino) that was the best I've tasted outside of Italy. My wife's filet mignon was done perfectly, sufficiently large to make two meals. Bartenders know their stuff and the wine list is very nice. We'll be back, even if a long drive.
Great restaurant. Will definitely go back.
Great food and atmosphere!
The food was just ok, not much flavor. Very minimal. I got a 30$ fellet mignon and it was just ok, very plain, just came with some steamed carrots. My husband got fish, it looked very pretty but had very little flavor. It was just super expensive for just ok food. The service was fantastic though. We sat outside, the restaurant is next to a swimming pool in a resort, so we watched people swimming and playing games in the grass, not bad, just not what we had in mind for a super expensive "fancy" dinner.
20 minutes into dinner a headache came on from either the bread, which I rarely eat or the soup which may have had msg. I get headaches from chemicals in food. Something triggered my headache. I know the soup had a flavor I could figure out. I bet it was the soup.
We are so lucky to have Litchfields right next door. The Wigwam is a very special place and the restaurant is great. Good service, good food, and the price is not bad.
Really enjoy this restaurant. Very authentic old world Spanish feel. The service and food are excellent with an open kitchen for viewing. Cozy bar with piano music when we were there on a Saturday.
The salmon and the sea bass were perfect. The service was as good as it gets. Best restaurant in the local area. A destination for one’s most important special occasions.
I was imagining a fine dining experience. It wasn't quite that. I think the resort was hosting a convention of some sort, so the atmosphere was very noisy and boisterous the evening we were there, more like a frat party than an upscale dining room. Possibly also because of this, it took quite a long time after we were seated (more than 15 minutes?) before anyone came by the table to ask if we would like anything to drink. It also took a long time for our salads to come after we'd placed our order. I will say that the food, when it did come, was delicious. Pricey but delicious.
I’ve been to Litchfield’s several times, this is the first Friday night. Service was sub par, restaurant was noisy. Food still very good.
Great steaks. Hard to find if you’re from out of town. Excellent service.
I celebrated a special birthday with a friend and I chose Litchfields for dinner. We started with the black mussels and blown away by how well prepared and so tasty. I have to admit they were the best mussels I've ever eaten and I'm from the Pacific NW so, that's saying a lot! We enjoyed the pork chop and the scallops. The only thing is the sweet potato and apple served with the chop was dry. I would've preferred it to be saucy. The wine was great! Every time I visit the area I always make sure I make time for Litchfields.
Our new favorite restaurant! Friends visiting from Indiana gave us a Litchfields gift card as a thank you gift. We went on February 20th, and our dinner was very special. Now we are planning a return visit with our daughters and their families.
The food and drinks were excellent. Our waiter Deon did a fantastic job and would highly recommend him.
The dining experience was as good as it gets.
Have been to Litchfields many times. This was a terrible experience. Disappointing food and service. Am hearing from many people of same experiences. Management has changed or something. Won’t be going back.
Celebrated parents 50th anniversary and it was a nice dining experience. Not quite as fancy as I would have expected but the food was delicious. Open kitchen was a very nice experience. Wait staff was attentive.
After moving to the West Valley a year ago we finally tried Litchfield's. Except for one slip they would have received 5 stars and perhaps on our next visit it will be at that level. The Wigwam appears to be a very nice resort. After valeting our car to very polite attendants we walked through reception and through Red's bar which was hopping with activity to Litchfield's where we found a beautiful bar we sat for awhile enjoying terrific martini's from friendly bartenders. We sat in a booth table with a clear view to their center kitchen and while there were several large tables of folks nearby, the noise level was moderate. Our server was friendly and attentive as was the rest of the wait staff. We started with the black mussels and they were amazing. Incredibly fresh, one could still taste the ocean and they were a truly outstanding dish with plenty of large meaty mussels. The bread and garlic butter were as good as other reviews state and my wife's salad was also very nice. The brussel sprouts were good but could rise a notch in creativity of flavor, but still, they were good and fresh. The only fall down was predictable as it seems chef's refuse to grill a filet mignon at any level other than rare. I ordered medium and received a barely-warm center rare, maybe barely to medium rare. I sliced off the seared edges and waived our server over to give it another sear which she did and it was returned perfect this time. The manager came over and apologized which I felt was a sincere touch to an overall wonderful experience and we will return.
