Litchfield's Ratings and Reviews
The service was exceptional! Colleen and her assistant, Peter, were on top of everything without being intrusive. The pork chop was very good. There was a problem with the fillet and it was quickly recognized and a new steak presented. Drinks , a Manhattan and Old Fashion, were delicious. The room is love.y.
My wife and I had dinner at Litchfield's on Jan. 4, 2018. In every respect, the dinner was "superb." We started off with the Spinach Dumplings and then she had the Endive Salad and I had the Mushroom Bisque. We both had the Diver Scallops on a bed of butternut squash and cranberry risotto. The food was perfectly prepared, graciously served by our waitress and all was encompassed in the quiet relaxing ambiance of the restaurant. We would definitely return and recommend it highly. We dined at 5:30pm on Thursday, Jan. 4th. I prefer to fine dine during the week (M-Thurs) and early before the chefs are pressured with multi-dishes to prepare and the crowds arrive.
Lovely setting with booths and tables. Views to green lawns through floor to ceiling glass. Very nice wine selection.
The potato chowder was excellent. My daughter had fettuccine carbonara and I enjoyed the Mediterranean Sea Bass. Both were wonderful. The Bass was decoratively surrounded by pomegranate sauce and the appearance was a work of art.
A visit from the Manager Scot made the evening all part of a glorious day in Phoenix.
Having dined here before, we knew Litchfield's was the perfect choice for our evening out with good friends. The 'Smart Casual' atmosphere, fine service and outstanding cuisine were appreciated by all. Diver Sea Scallops, Salmon and Mushroom Bisque are highly recommended. This restaurant is a top choice for visitors to the Wigwam.
This was for our families Christmas dinner. We were seated in a walkway next to the kitchen door. There was no music in this hallway, like some of the other rooms. It took the waitress 20 minutes to take our drink order (glass of wine is over priced). When she brought out our drinks we had been there 45 minutes. My daughter had to ask her to take our orders for dinner. I'm not sure what the waitress was waiting for? We started with a salad, Romain lettuce, vinaigrete dressing and pickled onions. Very plain, just lettuce.
We all picked Prime Rib, fixed from medium rare to well done. All of the Prime Rib was tuff! Served on cold plates. My Father shook the table cutting his Prime Rob. The Prime Rib was not done with a dry rub, but a with a sweet balsamic glaze. Nothing savory about that. Out of all the Prime Rob I've eaten, this would be in my bottom three worse I've ever had. We had to seek out our waitress to get our drinks refilled. The dessert was finger food in the next room. They couldn't even bring it to our table. Some of us had coffee, but the waitress never came back to warm up our cups, by topping them off. We paid $60 per person for this meal, which was worth about $19.50. And on top of that, the restaurant stuck a 20% gratuity on the bill. I would have given 10%, that's probably why they do that. Poor wait staff, poor menu, poor food and poor ambiance. This is the first and last time we'll ever go to the place.
We were A group of 3 couples for Christmas dinner at 4:30. Unfortunately, the main course of turkey and all the fixings was a disappointment for 3 of us. The only items on the plate that were HOT were the turkey and gravy. ... the mashed potatoes, dressing and veggies were "just warm". Other than that, the dining experience was good.
My husband and I were there to celebrate my birthday and it was perfect. Our server was Cindy and she and the rest of the team took great care of us. The food was absolutely delicious and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was the perfect end to our meal. The manager even checked on us by using our name which was also a nice touch. We will be back for sure.
Food and presentation was exceptional. Service was just mediocre. Not as attentive or accommodating as we’re accustomed to receiving. Poured our own wine. More experienced staff is needed. This is the second time we encountered service that was less than expected. Would expect more from this establishment. No acknowledgement of special occasion from our server but at end of dinner, manager did stop by our table. He even offers to our more wine. This is the standard our servers should live into. Our dinners were all very good. Scallops were excellent. Mac n cheese delicious. Ribeye was rather fatty but cooked to perfection. Cheese plate was beautiful. Love the setup of the restaurant. Interesting seeing our meals prepared.
We came to the Litchfields base on reviews. I asked for Deon for our waiter base on reviews.
I must say I wasn’t disappointed.
From the beginning Deon was excellent. We had drinks, soup and entree, of the Rib Eye and the sea bass. The food was very good, cooked as we requested and came to the table nice and hot. Deon was always there making sure we had everything we needed. The other servers were around to take dishes as needed.
I would recommend the restaurant and when booking your reservation ask for Deon, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Enjoy.
The entire experience at Litchfield’s was above expectations. The food was perfectly prepared and the service was prompt courteous and helpful, the ambiance was great. We went for my wife’s birthday and we will be coming back in the future. Wine list is extensive. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Ratings say it all. Wonderful food and service. Evening dinner was romantically lit, but not so much that those not so inclined would feel uncomfortable. The only negative was that for the music to be heard in the dining room, it was uncomfortably loud in the bar. My guest enjoyed it tremendously and thanked me for the suggestion. He lost the wager on the Dbacks-Rockies playoff game and I chose the location. Despite the pricey menu, he was pleased with the choice.
The food deserves a five star rating, but the service could of been better. Caught the manager socializing and screwing off instead of doing his job. Didn't receive our drinks in a timely manner. Once the meal got started, the service improved. The restaurant itself was absolutely gorgeous and well decorated for Thanksgiving. Change out the manager and the problems will be solved. I will come back again next year.
Very nice, it was a date night for my wife and I. And we couldn't have went to a better place.
Deion was our server and he did a great job. We sat in the patio area and the weather was perfect for it. We started with a nice bottle of cabernet and the black mussels, which were nice and meaty with chorizo bits. So good then I had the ribeye with blue cheese crumbles on top along with cheesy grits. The steak and grits was perfect. My wife had the filet mignon and green beans also cooked perfect, green beans had pieces of bacon in them really tasty.
Can't wait to go back.
