Litchfield's Ratings and Reviews
We came to the Litchfields base on reviews. I asked for Deon for our waiter base on reviews.
I must say I wasn’t disappointed.
From the beginning Deon was excellent. We had drinks, soup and entree, of the Rib Eye and the sea bass. The food was very good, cooked as we requested and came to the table nice and hot. Deon was always there making sure we had everything we needed. The other servers were around to take dishes as needed.
I would recommend the restaurant and when booking your reservation ask for Deon, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Enjoy.
The entire experience at Litchfield’s was above expectations. The food was perfectly prepared and the service was prompt courteous and helpful, the ambiance was great. We went for my wife’s birthday and we will be coming back in the future. Wine list is extensive. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Ratings say it all. Wonderful food and service. Evening dinner was romantically lit, but not so much that those not so inclined would feel uncomfortable. The only negative was that for the music to be heard in the dining room, it was uncomfortably loud in the bar. My guest enjoyed it tremendously and thanked me for the suggestion. He lost the wager on the Dbacks-Rockies playoff game and I chose the location. Despite the pricey menu, he was pleased with the choice.
The food deserves a five star rating, but the service could of been better. Caught the manager socializing and screwing off instead of doing his job. Didn't receive our drinks in a timely manner. Once the meal got started, the service improved. The restaurant itself was absolutely gorgeous and well decorated for Thanksgiving. Change out the manager and the problems will be solved. I will come back again next year.
Very nice, it was a date night for my wife and I. And we couldn't have went to a better place.
Deion was our server and he did a great job. We sat in the patio area and the weather was perfect for it. We started with a nice bottle of cabernet and the black mussels, which were nice and meaty with chorizo bits. So good then I had the ribeye with blue cheese crumbles on top along with cheesy grits. The steak and grits was perfect. My wife had the filet mignon and green beans also cooked perfect, green beans had pieces of bacon in them really tasty.
Can't wait to go back.
My husband and I live in Goodyear and had never been to Litchfield's. We decided to make a reservation for our anniversary, and we enjoyed the experience! The direct route to The Wigwam was, unfortunately, closed that evening as an arts festival was being set up. We took a very indirect route through the neighborhoods, but we did appreciate the adequate signage to get us to the resort. For first time guests to the restaurant, I wish that the directions would have been a little more intuitive. The restaurant does not have parking or direct access, so you park in the general resort parking and walk quite a bit through the conference center to reach the restaurant. Once we arrived, the service was wonderful and accommodating. The food was delicious. My husband raved about his ribeye being perfectly cooked. We both ordered the potato chowder, which was my least favorite taste of the night, but still pretty good. The only thing I would have changed about our dining experience is that we were seated directly next to the order station, so it felt like the wait staff was watching our entire meal from behind us. I would maybe consider moving that order station so it is not directly connected to a dining room booth.
Stayed at the resort on business. Not many options in close proximity outside of the resort so tried this. Was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the ribeye. Very flavoarable and cooked just right. Must order the mushrooms with it. They use king mushrooms which have a nice texture to them.
This is our favorite restaurant. My husband and I don't get to go out often between work and a newborn at home, but when we can escape for date night or a special occasion, this is our favorite place to go. The food is always excellent, I love the quiet, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is on point. It's also fun to watch the chefs prepare your food, and we love when there is piano music as well. I know we will always leave there satisfied. I highly recommend Litchfields! Try their dessert with their house-made ice cream. YUM!!!
Overall very good as usual. For West valley dining options this restaurant provides one of the few locations that can consistently deliver fresh seafood at a price point that is reasonable while being well prepared. That said, the halibut was fresh and enjoyed by two for the main entree. On a slightly minor note the mushroom bisque tasted fine, but the texture was a bit odd as the soup began to stiffen as it cooled and became like a mousse or clotted cream. Simple dessert of chocolate cake and ice cream hit the spot with moist cake and good ice cream, An additional observation having dined inside prior and outside this occasion. Noticed that seating cushions should get more attention. Outside cushions spotty on both sides as attempted turn over cushion to get a clean side. Inside chairs are fine but previously dined in a booth with low spots. Don't mean to get overly picky but the resort shows well and the tables are set nicely so why not keep the seating clean and up to date. Still worth the trip and will return.
We were staying at the wigwam resort for a conference and went here for my birthday dinner. We had a fabulous time and the service was wonderful. Colleen was exceptional and such a sweetheart. She took great care of us! Definitely worth it especially for a special occasion. The cheese grits were to die for! I would definitely go back again if I was in the Phoenix area again!
There was country western band playing at the pool which made the main restaurant a little loud but we were given a perfect spot for our family of four to talk that was out of doors off the piano bar and the night was beautiful. Our server, Virginia, was attentive and gave wonderful explanations of the menu items. My son and daughter-in-law had the halibut which was wonderful. I enjoyed the scallops and my husband was in heaven with a ribeye cooked to his exacting instructions! The desserts were excellent and we will definitely be back.
We have gone to Litchfields in the past on several occasions. Overall it has been positive dining experience; 4/5 stars for an average. Friday night our best service was by Alek the bus boy/young man. My husband's food was undercooked. Our waitress was speaking to someone she knew who was also dining in our section (we could clearly hear their conversation). The waitress spent her time conversing and it was Alek (the bus boy) that came to see how our meal was, and Alek who took the meal back and had it remade, Alek who notified the manager and AleK who came back to make sure it was better the second time around. The manager comped us some deserts; which was the minimum they should have done. The waitress brought them and then she brought us the cheque. She then returned to speak with her 'friend' at the neighboring table. We waited to pay the cheque for upwards of 20 minutes as she continued to look over at us, talk to her friend and then look back at us. She finally came back over and took care of the cheque and we left. This was the most disappointing service we have ever had; the waitress definitely needs some training on how to be courteous, considerate and diligent with the patrons.
We had a very enjoyable meal. We loved the setting within the Wigwam Resort. The hotel lobby (the entrance for the restaurant) is charming. Menu was a little small but adequate. We had scallops (excellent) and the pork chop (very flavorful but not as tender as I would have liked.). Portions were very generous. The meal was well priced, 2 glasses of wine, 1 salad, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 2 coffees were $115 plus tip. We will be back 😀
Purchased Groupon to try Litchfield's. Very impressed. Had the pork belly appetizer-delicious. Husband had ribeye which was huge and perfectly cooked...he loved the potatoes that accompanied the steak. I ordered the filet and loved it. The manager stopped by the table which was a pleasant surprise. Waitress was a little overly attentive but not intrusive. Great place.
My wife and I went to Litchfield's on an impromptu date. We were given a nice booth. Our server has been there for 7 years and was very knowledgeable and good. She knew how to interact with different guests in a way that fit the guests. We liked her a lot.
My wife had the mussel appetizer and I had the cheese/meat plate. She's a mussels fan and liked it even though there was a slight "kick" to it. My plate was also very good but there was enough for two.
My wife had the salmon for her entree and raved about it - very moist. I had the filet mignon. It was very tender and tasty.
We shared a very good chocolate desert.
Very enjoyable evening.
