It started off with a warm and welcoming greeting from staff along with an incredible atmosphere. My waiter was Walter, a kind and knowledgeable person, recommended what wines go good with my food. Appetizer: I had the escargot to start along with bread & butter and wine, which was an explosion of flavour. Snails taste like cooked mushrooms if anyone wants to know the texture of it. Chef also gave an amuse bush! Entree: I ordered the rib cap, it’s 5oz of heaven on a plate! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. I paired it with red wine and it did satisfy me. Dessert: after all the food, I was stuffed but could not miss out on desert so Walter brought me two small chocolates that went well with the rest of the wine. I went alone and would go again but with another person. Around $250 per person if you’re wondering. Thank you Auberge du Pommier for this incredible experience! 10/10, will come again and recommend to others.

This restaurant is amazing, it’s boujie and very high class so the prices are higher but the food is just as high quality and the service and ambiance are all top notch. It is worthwhile to come here on any occasion.

Great food - delicious chorizo, homemade bread, everything was great. We had the front table by the window, nice little date night for us. Enjoyed every bite, while sipping a bit of wine. Cool ambiance as well, server was helpful with menu, we enjoyed our first time there.

We couldn’t decide which appetizer to have and so we chose to have two appetizers instead of a main course. The pasta was wonderful as were the foie and scallop and shrimp dishes. We had a little room left for dessert and ordered a Grand Marnier soufflé which was superb. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and professional.

Always delivers its best: best food, best service, best ambience. We went there for the octopus. It never fails us: so juicy and tender. Love its fish. Lovely crusted and tasty. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, who has made our dinner enjoyable. Great desserts. Love even just the plating. My friend was amazed by how quiet we were when we were having desserts: no one could take our eyes or spare our mouth away from the desserts. Thank you for a joyful evening.

Everything was absolutely spectacular, we ended up being 10min late for our reservation due to our Uber getting stuck. We call ahead to let them know and they were very appreciative. Once we arrived our table was ready immediately, service/food/drinks/atmosphere were on point. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Montreal, certainly a must stop.

Started off with the warm oysters and apple, leek with shredded potatoes and the burratta! Every single bite was to die for! Continued with the pasta and rabbit and the pork chop with brussel sprouts and semi sweet demi glaze. The evening was fabulous, the service impeccable and I will keep coming back.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate the physical limitations of our 90 year old parent. We were moved to a more accessible area which as very much appreciated. The duty manager who seated us and took initial orders and then server were attentive and very professional. Our meals were first rate. Reason for 4 star for ambience is the choice of music did not work for us from a dining pleasure perspective and the sound level as we found it made conversation difficult.

This was a return visit with friends who have not been here! They approved of our choice and also loved the food/service/ambience etc! Probably could have more vegetarian options! It was a first time visit for my friend and I at the Winery restaurant, even though we are wine club members. As my friend said, "what a wonderful lunch experience. It felt like we had our own private chef." Having Celiac Disease, I was astonished that I could order anything on the menu (which was extensive), as everything was made fresh by the kitchen to accommodate any allergies. Our server was professional, friendly and provides us with superb service. The Winery restaurant will now be a regular visit for us.

The Press Gang is a wonderful restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent and ambiance was lovely, especially on a chilly night in Halifax. There were a couple of issues with the service: the server put in the wrong order for our first course and then forgot who had ordered what when the main dishes came--neither of which are big big deals, obviously, although both incidents did feel like noticeable interruptions precisely because the service was otherwise extremely good. Overall, definitely worth a visit, particularly if you're in the market for quality without pretension.

Dinning at Rivera is a treat. Certainly can't afford to do this often, but once in a long while. Had the seafood tower, steak, halibut and grilled octopus, and creme brûlée (between three of us). Every dish is good, waking up my taste bud in pleasant ways. The server took time to interact with us, making recommendations but not too pushy. The host was friendly and welcoming. It was my son's 22nd birthday, and a wonderful memory.

I was a single diner, so I chose the special course with appetizer meal side dish and dessert for $79. Overall was not too bad of a choice made sense since the portions seem to be big for the sides. Overall good value unfortunately only hiccough was they had one dessert, which was cheesecake, which I did not care for as an alternate, I was offered berries only which to me was useless .

The petit fillet (alberta) steak was quite bland, made it hard to enjoy the entirety of it. A bit of rosemary and salt would have gone quiet the ways with it. The cake was disappointing. We got the Chocolate sin cake but it wasn’t cake. It was a chunk of dry fudge. We were hoping from the description for some real cake and a layer of raspberry sauce inside and then the ganache on top but it was just a too rich messy, over priced hunk of chocolate. The raspberry sauce need to be on the cake not the plate. And the strawberry would’ve have been nicer with it had there been more and had the top been properly cut off. Something is needed to break up the fudge. Otherwise service was impeccable, or servers Tamara and Syed did an excellent job.

Our party of 4 had a wonderful experience at Sabor. Our server was amazing and recommended wonderful wines and menu items. We had the shrimp garlic prawns to start, the seafood platter, ribeye, and three boars. Everything was amazing. We were stuffed and had to take some home. An overall wonderful dining experience and we will be back.

Exquisite is all I can say! The beef tenderloin tips were cooked to perfection. The deserts were devine. The crème brûlée is truly the best I’ve ever had. Our host Gavin, was so polite and accommodating. I can’t wait to bring my out of town guests here. Highly recommend!!

This brunch is absolutely amazing, a little on the pricey side but worth every penny! If you love seafood you will love the restaurant..it's full of fresh lobster, shrimp, crab , mussels and clams amongst many other hot dishes !

Excellent as usual; however, I wish that it weren’t a set menu as the four courses are way too much food. If I could just order one plate I would eat at Treadwell more often

I recently celebrated a quiet birthday at Vero Bistro, a charming restaurant tucked away on bustling Kensington Main Avenue. The ambiance was beautiful, offering a quiet and dark setting, perfect for an intimate celebration. Conveniently located, it provided a peaceful escape from the busy surroundings. We chose the chef's menu, a choice we've made at other restaurants in the past, we were met with excellent service. The staff was attentive, checking on us without disrupting our conversations. The four-course meal, each with three dishes, promised a culinary journey. However, I was disappointed to find that the chef's tasting didn't feature anything exclusive, making me question its value compared to ordering items separately from the regular menu. Despite this, the food was a delight. The sweet potato gnocchi with candied bacon stole the show, showcasing Vero Bistro's expertise in this dish. The steak frites were perfectly cooked and tender, although a bit more seasoning would have elevated the experience. The mushroom arancini impressed, but the truffle flavor was slightly overpowering; a bit less would have sufficed. The garlic-heavy escargot was divisive, as some enjoyed it while others, like me, prefer a more buttery flavor. The lamb skewers and bruschetta served as delightful starters with excellent flavors. The dessert, featuring lemon ricotta cheesecake and blueberry crème brûlée, provided a sweet and satisfying end to the meal. The smaller portion sizes were appreciated, considering how stuffed we were by the end. While we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the dishes we had would have been cheaper ordered directly off the menu instead of as part of the chefs tasting. Some menu items, like the oyster mushrooms on prosciutto, fell short of expectations, making us wish we had chosen differently. Despite these considerations, Vero Bistro left a positive impression, and we would likely return for the inviting ambiance and delicious dishes.

It was a Birthdate Lunch with my Family. The Service, Food, Wine was impeccable. The surroundings are beautiful, all in all a very pleasant experience for everyone. we will come again!

Can I please get the music playlist on Tues Nov 23rd evening (dinner date was at 7:15pm). There was a remixed song played that night before our meals came out and we are trying to find out the song name/remix artists! If you could check your playlist I would really appreciate that!!
