A wonderful experience of flavors, a beautiful ambiance with a tasteful feel for the holiday and a strong value for service. A pinnacle moment was experiencing the LORIGHITTAS Octopus, Tomato, Pancetta, Lovage dish. Well worth the time and value to visit Al Coro.

This was planned to be a landmark, special occasion meal. It’s surpassed anything we expected. The atmosphere is calm without being cold and service allowed you to focus on the person you were dining with. We had the Chef’s tasting menu. Every dish was beyond what was expected. Yes, on some items the dish may have a look small, but it was a perfect fit within the overall meal and menu. It was a satisfying meal that was ended with an amazing dessert. It is easy to see why the waiter said the Arctic birds nest played a big part in earning those Michelin stars.

Amazing food and wines!!
A photo of Le Coucou restaurant
$50 and over
About the restaurant
After taking the Parisian dining scene by storm, acclaimed chef Daniel Rose brings home the James Beard "Best New Restaurant" award for his very first stateside restaurant. Located in SoHo, the space is a gracious modern nod to fine European gastronomy, with crisp linens, fliberking candles, and whitewashed brick. Updating classical French cuisine with charm and verve, Rose shrinks the intercontinental divide separating the City of Light and the Big Apple, proving that the true essence of fine French dining can thrive in any time zone.

We went to Le Coucou to celebrate my wife's birthday and had a wonderful experience. The service is elegant and refined, as is the environment. Food is excellent and well-presented. I would call it delicious but generally more-traditionally French than imaginative in style, though the crepinette de volaille was certainly a new and wonderful experience for us. The wine list is comprehensive (and expensive).

Lower East Side
About the restaurant
Bar Primi is a corner pasta shop devoted to ‘primi piatti,’ the pasta course. What began as an idea for a small space in New York's East Village has since become an essential in chef and co-owner Andrew Carmellini's range: fresh pasta traditionally prepared and cooked to order. At Bar Primi, the main course is Primi Piatti. We use a variety of non-GMO semolina and specialty ‘00’ flours, organic eggs and handed-down techniques to create our menu of Traditional and Seasonal pasta dishes. We make more than a dozen different shapes and styles daily. This includes lumache and rigatoni from our imported extruder or ravioli and mezzalune cut and filled by hand. Family recipes and secrets are traded between Carmellini and Brooklyn-born chef-partner Salvatore Lamboglia who also offers a daily meat or seafood special in addition to a selection of shareable Piccolini and Antipasti, artisanal cheese, salumi and simple home-style desserts.

We went out for brunch and the food and service was great! You should definitely share some meatballs, Brussels sprouts and ricotta. We had some food restrictions in our group and they were able to accommodate and help with selection without making you feel uncomfortable. Truly great experience.

Lower East Side
About the restaurant
Sami & Susu is a Lower East Side restaurant and wine bar, inspired by family recipes and the many flavors of the Mediterranean. Our menu is seasonal, fun, and is updated regularly throughout the year.

Co-founded by Amir Nathan and Jordan Anderson in June 2020, Sami & Susu was born in the depths of the pandemic and first provided delivery and pickup service at a time when the restaurant industry was almost completely shut down. Within months, we gained a loyal clientele that encouraged us to open our brick and mortar restaurant in July 2021. We now serve dinner every night of the week!

In 2022 Sami & Susu was awarded with a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
