Meatball and eggplant appetizers were generous portions.. The salmon and lamb chop dinners were delicious.

Yesterday was an amazing day. My husband and I went to one of our favorite local restaurants for dinner, and it didn't disappoint. If you've never been to Kafe' Kokopelli in Dade City, I highly recommend it. We've celebrated my last two birthdays and my husband's last one there. I had 10 oz filet with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled mushrooms. My husband had the 16 oz rib eye with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled green beans. It was all perfect, and so was the service. (By the way, the dark stuff on my plate with the filet is grilled mushrooms. I was trying to get the lighting right, but my husband wanted to eat. 🤣) I've tried to upload photos but it won't let me. Sorry about that.

Krabby Patty is packed with crab and shrimp, great aioli, and just enough slaw. Pulled pork sandwich is my favorite: tons of pork, great sauce that isn't spicy, gooey cheese, crispy bacon--just everything you want from the combination of sweet and salty. Side of truffle fries was the perfect compliment. Our server was excellent--very attentive and appreciated him asking how we wanted to pace the meal. Great manager and hostess as well making sure our meal was totally enjoyable.

Always a favorite stop of ours when we visit Sarasota. Food is always good, staff is always great. The live music is also fun. But can be a little loud but still sets the vibe.
