Amazing service and food. Our waiter Serg was phenomenal and had some great recommendations for us that really helped make the night great. We will definitely be going back!
Always outstanding food, service, and ambience. My husband loved the seabass and I enjoyed the filet mignon as part of the prix fixe menu. Annie was our outstanding server÷
We love Stacey - and great meal and fun evening
We had reservations for our Anniversary dinner. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for a dreary Monday night. The food was decent, the service was good, but lacked a personal touch.
Everyone loved the food and mentioned that they would eat there again.
Great food, good atmosphere and amazing service. Great for business meetings.
We were celebrating Mother’s Day and a birthday. The food was outstanding and Annie- our server- was fantastic. We love her and our evening was just wonderful . The roasted chicken, and simply prepared salmon and sea bass were done to perfection. The strawberry sangria was a hit! The chocolate bread pudding is our favorite! It was a very busy night at Linwood’s and the service was great and the food came out right away and was perfect!!!!!
Delicious meal! Great service! The dark chocolate s’mores dessert is ah-mazing!
The food was underwhelming but the service was excellent
We celebrated Mother’s Day at Linwood’s. The food was quite good, especially the crispy oysters and the wine. Not too mention we sat near one of our favorite comedians, Lewis Black, there with his parents. Nice evening.
We are regulars at Linwoods - one of our favorite go-to's - but we brought some friends for their first visit. They absolutely loved the ambiance of the restaurant and thought the food was outstanding! The service we received from Amanda was excellent. Another wonderful visit to an excellent favorite restaurant!
Excellent food! Great service!
I LOVE LINWOODS and all of my friends who do such a wonderful job! You are all at the top of my list of favorites.
I asked for a quiet corner so my sisters and I could have good conversation without having to shout at one another. Linwoods accommodated us and we enjoyed our lunch tremendously!
Recommend but our service was extremely slow and one dish was not very good. Perhaps they were under-staffed that night. Was also much noisier then I recalled from the last time I went.
Perfect for an early Mothers Day celebration with my Mom. Server was outstanding...kind, professional, and never rushed us. My request to be seated at a corner table was honored.
Highly recommend grilled watermelon and pineapple salad, and crab/shrimp tacos. Delicious!!
Great place for special occasions. The service is always outstanding.
Dreadful. Orders were forgotten or wrong. By the time the correct meal was served, the others were finished. Fish was incredibly fishy and salty. Beans were so over cooked they were mushy. Even the desserts were wrong.
There is a variety of foods to select. Always tasty. My go to place!
My husband and I go to Linwoods 6-8 times a year. This was my first time trying the shrimp and grits and it was delicious. I was glad I had ordered the large portion. My husband had the salmon which he said he really enjoyed. This is one of favorite restaurants.
Crab soup was nothing but vegetable soup with crab meat added. No Old Bay seasoning. Burger was bland and fries were cold. Very over priced for what is served. Best part of the meal was the dessert.
Great food, great service, excellent in every category
My favorite restaurant
Normally, Linwoods is outstanding in all aspects. Unfortunately, this time our server was experiencing some difficulties bringing items we did not request and failing to bring what was ordered. Don't know where the disconnect occurred (sever vs. kitchen), but it was a disappointment.
Linwoods is our go-to for birthdays and anniversaries. The scallops are always a must, especially when they have the lime scallops over goat cheese risotto.
Great experience beginning to end
The best!!! It's always fantastic and our go-to restaurant in Baltimore.
Great lunch. Excellent service and great food
The only weird thing is, the restaurant is in an office building
Food is always excellent. Great service!
This is one of our favorite go-to places. The food is consistently excellent in a place that has great ambiance and good service. It is always difficult to bypass the crab soup with mounds of lump crabmeat in a delicious base. The salads are varied and interesting and both the meat and fish dishes are always prepared well. Save room for dessert too!
Linwoods is the place to go for every occasion or no occasion other than you want a very good meal with great service. My friend and I were there on Easter Sunday. We had great cocktails. We both had the goat cheese ravioli, a first time for me. These little buggers are sublime. They melt in your mouth and are full of flavor. You can get your iceberg salad wedge pre-chopped for you now. It is neat that way, the dressing gets into all the corners. I had the wonderfully tender calves liver. I wanted to grab it before it goes off the menu. It is comfort food at its best. My friend had the bronzini. The preparation is excellent and the filets absorb all of the flavor of the sauce. We even had a surprise dessert! A wonderful lemon meringue tart. The crust was lined in dark chocolate, topped with a tart lemon custard and then a beautiful meringue topping. It was a truly wonderful meal.
We had an outstanding dinner on Saturday night. The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and the service was superb! Our server was Barb who we adore!!!! It was the second night of Passover and we even had Matzoh! We tried a new appetizer- the cauliflower two ways which was incredible. Thank you all for making our holiday so special.
Food is consistently good! Service is amazing! Stacy does a fantastic job!
Over all was good, you were out of some foods, my filet was a little tough
I've been to Linwoods several time but I was not impressed with the quality of the food on April 16th. The waitress was fine. I have no complaints with her. The dinner rolls were bland and didn't have any taste. I ordered the Lunch Pre Fixe with the Wedge Salad, the beef tenderloin with potato au gratin and asparagus and the lemon coconut cake. The salad dressing was not very good. As a result I did not really eat the salad. I will say that it was the largest dinner salad I've had in awhile. Unfortunately, the dressing which ties the ingredients together was a flop. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection. The portion size was very small. I was not a fan of the potato au gratin either.
We can always expect a wonderful experience at Linwoods! This dinner was no exception!
Always a special meal in a very welcoming establishment. Season spring pea salad not to be missed.
Outstanding. It was worth the drive from Washington.
Get them while you can! The fried crispy oysters are still on the menu. They are soooo good. There is a new Cobb salad that is beautiful to the eye and the palate. It is a structured salad in a terrine shape, layers of avocado, bacon, egg, kale and blue cheese. Really good. The new salmon prep with balsamic vinegar is excellent and the crab cake is always a perfect dinner. Excellent cocktails. Dessert choices still need some upgrade but with such a great meal there probably isn't room for more than the great after dinner chocolates that Linwoods provides.
