Feltvlike i was a judge on Top Chef— the gnochi was BEYOND and the chicken so tender and tasty
Intimate atmosphere. Personal service. Good food.
We had a wonderful brunch with great mimosas and the best Bambalinos for dessert !
I love this restaurant, Scott and Heather are incredibly focused and attentive to insure a great dining experience. The food is excellent and inventive. A nice variety of proteins and vegetables. Try eating at bar as well, both experiences are fantastic.
Need to update chairs with comfortable seating. Some food was spicy and we were not told.
Food was excellent, but the decor needed work. Service was very good.
Love the staff, love the food, love the portion size option.
Pasta was overcooked. Not good for a restaurant that specializes in pasta
Excellent food. Extremely knowledgeable and courteous waiter. Very nice red wine at a reasonable price. Nice enough room. Deafening noise level on a Saturday night. Much quieter on a prior midweek visit.
Came here for Restaurant Week, we had it with wine pairing, food is excellent, poorly chosen wine that didn't match the food, likely to come back and order a la carte in the near future!
THE CHANGE IN SEASONS GAVE US SEVERAL OPTIONS AMONGST THE PASTA DISHES. THE TARRAGON FETTUCINE WITH SEAFOOD WAS DELICIOUS. THE ROASTED COD SPECIAL PERFECTLY COOKED AND AS ALWAYS THE SALADS CREATED BY CHEF SCOTT NEVER DISAPPOINT. THE FENNEL SALAD WAS EXCELLENT.
EVEN WITH A PACKED SATURDAY NITE CROWD SERVICEWAS FIRST CLASS AS ALWAYS
Our favorite restaurant! We love the food! Always the greatest experience!
Small restaurant . Service and food was excellent. Menu had a very nice selection.
As always, food is great and service warm and personable.
We live in the area and never think of dining here, but we tried for restaurant Week, the food was exceptional and we will return. The staff was very attentive.
Good sized portions, odd combinations of foods, very noisy, tables almost on top of each other, very little parking in Ardsley, definitely NOT what I would call Italian cuisine (not southern or northern Italian).
Excellent food served hot. Everything we tried was tasty, with complex mixtures of flavors. The service was informative and friendly. Questions were answered seriously and additional information was given with respect to special menus and prices available at other times. Only one glass of wine, a Barbera, but it was very nice.
Excellent! The sweet potato gnocchi was amazing! Definitely going back!
Excellent experience, with great service, authentic food
I was pleasantly surprises by the food. I also had a bourbon neat and the drink was a good size. The pacing of the service was very good. They gave you time to interact with your friends/relatives with you at dinner.
Food is excellent, service needs to be tightened up.
Interesting but limited menu. The noise level in back room was deafening. Could not hear ourselves. Food and service was good though. They need to work on acoustics.
Great food, nice atmosphere. Co-owner Heather is delightful!
First time here but won't be the last. Staff very friendly and helpful. We went for restaurant week so it was very busy. The food was delicious and very flavorful. They ran out of the desert for restaurant week and had a substitute but we want to go back to have the desert. Looking forward to the next time
We came with friends from out of town for the Westchester Restaurant Week. The menu was innovative and the food was great. Great choices for each course on the special menu. The wine pairings were a great value. Service, however, was haphazard. While other diners were offered bread, we had to ask for ours. The waiter spaced after our guests arrived and they waited quite a while for him to take their drink order. After the meal, those who ordered coffee waited an inordinately long time for it to arrive. They did take the coffee off of the bill as a welcome gesture. I love the food, but the service has been up and down.
We have been here before and enjoyed the meal. We went there most recently on. Thursday evening. The wait staff was overwhelmed and the wait time was long. Also, there were very few gluten and dairy free options. Value is also not great. The rigatoni was not really $27 worth; nor was chicken. Going to cancel next week’s reservation in favor of Shiraz
We went for brunch with two kids and loved the food. My kids are picky eaters and they loved the chocolate pancake so much that we had to put another order :)
We had wonderful experience from the service to the food. Will be back for sure
We try to like L’Nizio and keep coming back but there always seems to be an issue. The food can be outstanding and others time mediocre and not very inventive. The service can lack as well, with long waits for entrees without any acknowledgement by the waiter or owner. Coming over to the table and acknowledging the wait and maybe offering a cocktail on the House seems so obviously the right thing to do — but this will go ignored. Something is missing - maybe it needs more attentive people on the floor ? The bar area is great but it too could use a jolt — maybe upgrade the craft beers, better ( hipper ) music and friendlier bartenders. Harpers / Cookery have these qualities that would suit L’Inizia well.
Always have a great -delicious meal. Inventive menu and the hospitality is outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant
Great service!!!! The food is spectacular!!!!
Very professional, yet always warm and welcoming. High quality dining and wine makes this our go-to place when we want to treat ourselves.
Very good indeed. The special salad of beets, frens, walnuts etc was excellent. The arugula salad was a bit too cold and therefore had less flavor. The wild mushroom risotto special was very good. The wine recommended by the sommelier was delicious interesting. It was recommended after the Sangiovese ordered was not available. Both were reasonably priced. The wine list prices were all between the mid $30s to the low $60s with most on the $40 range as was ours. The semifredo desert was different (cannoli, wine and strawberry flavors) and excellent. Service was friendly, extremely professional and efficient. No intrusive refilling of water and wine. All together a very nice evening indeed.
Don't tell anyone else but this is the best Italian restaurant in the whole county
We really enjoyed our experience. The menu made it difficult for us to choose, as there were so many dishes with creative combinations that sounded delicious. We were extremely happy with all of our choices. Service was great, and we greatly appreciate the restaurant’s commitment to farm to table practices. This place was a great find.
The restaurant was suggested by the boss of one of our diners.. He had been talking about going for quite some time. We finally had the chance to make reservations and to go this past Saturday night. The waiter was busy, but after a short wait to get our initial drink order, was very attentive. The food was excellent. the special veal chop (on the bone) was amazing. We all enjoyed the meal greatly from start to finish, including desert. I didn't see Apple on the desert menu, but asked and they brought me an Apple Tart which was good. the Coffee came cold, but the waiter immediately made a fresh pot and apologized sincerely. We plan to go again and would recommend the restaurant (in fact we already have)..Thumbs up.
The staff is courteous and attentive, and the food is outstanding. Scott F's attention to detail and care with well sourced ingredients shows in the finished product. On a recent visit the tuna poke and veal chop milanese specials were outstanding, while the market steak would rival the finest NYC steakhouse! Heather's desserts are always a great way to finish the meal! Can't wait to head back.
We are here every week! We are grateful this talented chef has restaurant in Ardsley. We don’t need to go too far to get an amazing gourmet meal.
First time visiting the restaurant since they took over from....The Eatery? Shrimp Pasta dish and Chicken Scarp, both from the menu were excellent. Only issue was the waiter's accent was hard thick ad had a problem understanding him, but certainly not a big deal.
We've been here 3 times now. The food has been great each time. Service has been inconsistent. On this last visit, there was a private party taking place and it was obviously affecting service at regular tables.
