My friend and I both had the Seafood Hot Pot. The flavor, temperature, and visual appeal were all top-notch. DELICIOUS! Trinity was our server and she made us feel warmly welcomed and spoiled with her care. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you!

Our server was friendly and the food was wonderful, but the hostess was not great. We asked her if we could eat on the patio because one of our party members is hard of hearing and the noise level was too loud for him to hear . She very curtly told us the patio was closed. Within 20 minutes we looked out at the patio and saw a couple of parties recently seated. Considering the reason for our request for being on the patio, we were frustrated that our needs weren’t considered.

The speaker was right above us and I have hearing loss. It was difficult to hear my friend. The wait person spoke over us a couple of times, I felt pressured to answer even though my friend and I were in the middle of conversation. I don't think wait person thought about us.

First time going to Ling and Louie’s, wasn’t sure what to expect. We were immediately greeted by the host staff, they were friendly as soon as we entered. Menu was easy to review and our waiter made excellent suggestions. Service was prompt and efficient. Food was very good and portions were good. We lucked out and “happy hour” was still in effect.

We made a reservation but we’re seated by the kitchen anyway despite a good number of empty tables. The service was prompt and cheery, and the menu was enticing. Of the three of us, the person ordering sushi was pleased, but the pad Thai and blackened chicken dishes were dull and the food pretty dry. My glass of wine was good (higher end Cabernet) . I wouldn’t take out of town guests here.

Like the restaurant industry in general, in recent years menu items have become more and more spicy. I'm not sure how the industry has decided that Americans want spicier food. In the past menus with spicy food balanced it with an equal, if not more, non-spicy foods. Not at Ling and Louie's. It is very difficult for my wife to find a non-spicy selection that she likes. So my recommendation to a friend would be "if you like spicy foods.' Our service was excellent with a very personable young, college-attending, woman.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday and she loves Sushi. She picked this restaurant and made the reservation. We were greeted and seated promptly and our waitress was very nice and informative. My wife had a martini suggested by our waitress. We ordered the Calamari appetizer....... very very good! Wife ordered Sushi and I asked for assistance from our waitress. I’m picky and not very fond of vegetables so I asked for assistance from our waitress. She was very patient and willing to assist me in my selection. I informed he I like a nicely seasoned flavorful beef meat, fried rice and noodles, carrots, onions and peppers. She knew exactly the dish that would suit my needs and NAILED IT! Our dinner was fantastic and when she asked if we would like dessert we said sure. That dessert was worth the price of admission by itself. It was a three piece ensemble of pure magic. Don’t skip the dessert!!!!

We are new to the area and go out with a group of friends every Wednesday night this was the best food that we have had so far out of all the restaurants we've been to and this is the 12th Place we've been to we will be back many many times great atmosphere and lots of choices server was very informative my only complaint was never came around to refill our drinks

I received wrong item, perhaps service didn’t hear my specific request due to high noise level on Friday night. Also the description of ingredients did not match the plate. We came to celebrate daughters birthday, we received no offer of deserts available, did not want to order after waiter came with our tab.

This visit was a little disappointing. Purchased the bulgolgi wraps but there was very little flavor in the meat without drowning it in the sauce to make the dish very messy to eat. My friend and I also shared the dragon roll that lacked any spice. Normally one of my favorite rolls, the roll served was bland and tasted like something that could have been purchased from the grocery store. Got a side of sirachi just to give it a little kick. The Tom Kha Gai soup was delicious but that was only dish brought out that had flavor. Service was great but the food was lacking.

It felt like the waitress didn’t want to wait on me. The manager took care of my meal. But, I don’t know that I would go back. Food was just average. They also didn’t know how to confirm my Open Table reservation.

We tried to make a dinner reservation around 5:00 and the only opening was at 3:45, so we booked that time. However, we we arrived and when we left at 5:15 there were only a few guest at the restaurant and there were just a lot of empty tables. Why did we need to come at 3:45 when none else was there???? This was a great surprise to us. We decided to do something different for our anniversary, #48, and were completely amazed at the menu choices and saki offerings. Needless to say we will dine there again, there's a whole menu to explore.

Food was delicious! Mallory gave us great service. Friendly/professional/efficient. We moved to the patio because it was cold inside. I've always felt it was a little cold in the restaurant. Prices reasonable. Good portions.

The server forgot to come back to refresh drinks, so the second glasses of wine came out soon after everyone finished their meals. Food was decent but not as delicious as our experiences before. Not sure if we just had the B staff for Labor Day weekend or whether it had been so slow earlier, that the A staff turned B out of sheer boredom.

I booked a reservation for this restaurant on Open Table (and received a confirmation) only to be told that there wasn't a reservation when we arrived. The hostess was actually kind of rude about it and said that they only take reservations for 7 or more (and I only had 6). She didn't apologize for the mix up or anything. Luckily they had a table available, but only 1. We would have been waiting for quite a while if not for that. The food is always good at Ling & Louie's but the service was slow and the server wasn't very friendly. It took us almost 2 hours for this experience.
