Christmas Eve Dinner
New Year's Eve Dinner
My wife's 31st birthday. It's our go-to special restaurant. Never disappoints
Their patio is one of my wife's favorite places to dine. It was her birthday and we all had a great time.
2 hours for a 4 person business lunch for a restaurant operating at 40-50% capacity is far too long. I spoke to the manager, and I was a little disappointed in the response. Restaurant 101. (1) apologize; (2) show empathy; and (3) offer a tangible solution to make the customer feel like they were heard. The manager hit the first 2 components with flying colors. (And thanks for that, most restaurants still mess up the apology and provide ridiculous excuses while ignoring customer concerns). On the 3rd dimension, I was frustrated. To make up for the very slow and inattentive service, the manager gave me his name and said next time, I will be sure to give me another server who would be faster....
I scoffed at this recommendation. The server certainty made my experience worse, but they did not take an hour to cook the food (the food was so slow). Realistically, offering free drinks or a free meal or committing to re-evaluate training of servers or committing to understand why a simple lunch took so long would have been a good result.
Horribly slow and inattentive service. Excellent food as always. Shocking since many previous visits have been superb
We had a wonderful time celebrating my sister's birthday on the patio! A perfect evening! Great appetizers and entrees. (We each chose a different entree so we could taste them all!)
Sat on the patio which never disappoints!
Frankie a favorite.
Food always consistent
Always a go to place for business meals to impress others
Always a great dining experience .
Server should have told us, when we were given the menus that certain dishes on menu were not available so that we would not waste time. She returned to take our order only to tell us sorry what we want is unavailable .
Nevertheless, the rest of our dining experience was excellent and we plan on returning.
Geat food, service and atmosphere anyone in the area should try
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent and Our server David very attentive. My husband received a complimentary dessert of choice from Lindey’s. We will return!
Lindey’s has been our ‘go to’ for special occasions in German village for years. Our recent visit didn’t disappoint - fresh fish, gluten-free options along with outstanding service and meal presentation.
Everything was very good. Nina our waitress was very attentive and personable.
Always enjoy Lindey’s. This time, the service was not the same as it normally is. Saw our waitress 2-3 times throughout a two hour dinner, that was after having to remind them that we were sat after waiting 20 minutes. The food was great as always.
The patio is so enjoyable and the risotto is amazing!
Delicious food and great service. A family favorite for celebrations.
I have good allergies and they did a great job handling my allergy.
So disappointed in our experience. The food was ok...salad was limp and uninspired. Our waitress served the Caesar which we ordered, but it was actually a kale salad with Gorgonzola. We were seated at a table that appeared to be in a walkway at the bottom of a few stairs leading into the main dining room. Constant traffic by our table.
The patio was amazing and the service was excellent. Portions, flavor... everything was perfect for a date night.
We met for brunch and enjoyed beignets to start, which were very good. I had the checken hash, which was good. I should have listened to our server (wonderful), and ordered something else.
We were disappointed with service. We had to ask our server at least once for our entree and it was over 25 minutes to be served our desserts. Our server explained that the kitchen was slammed, however it was not a holiday so the staff should have been prepared for Friday night dinner crowd.
The first time we were disappointed at Lindeys. Used to be a favorite.
The food was amazing! The only issue we had was the service. As the night went on, the quality of service seemed to dwindle. It didn’t seem overly busy for a Friday night, so I was kind of surprised.
The food was wonderful, the service was friendly & efficient. We wish we could have been on the patio but it is 1st come 1st served. The weather was beautiful so everyone wanted to sit outside. It didn’t take away from a beautiful evening!
We were seated in a very loud back room where we had to scream to hear one another basically. Server did not come for quite some time then immediately tried to take our food order and we felt like we were being rushed through our dinner. Had to ask for bread. Our dinner was brought to us before we had even finished our appetizer. We were there for a birthday which was indicated on the reservation but did not even receive a happy birthday while we watched the table next to us receive free dessert for theirs.
Went to Lindey's with my husband. Both of our meals were delicious - I enjoyed the shrimp and lobster risotto and my husband had the tournedos of beef, YUM! Our waiter was very attentive. Overall, great dinner - the atmosphere is just a little stuffy for our liking.
Love the nut crusted chicken salad. The French onion soup is great.
It was our 15th anniversary ,we both enjoyed our dinner, and we will be going back some day
Everything was great! I would actually say the service was a little TOO quick, had drinks/app/dinner in under an hour
My wife and I had reservations at Lindey's to celebrate our anniversary. We hoped the weather and seating would cooperate to allow us to sit in the courtyard. We were lucky, the weather was great and we did get a seat in the courtyard. The service was outstanding! Our waiter, Dustin was incredible. He was always there, was helpful, handled many tables but yet you did not feel ignored at all. The courtyard feels like a courtyard in New Orleans, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Our food was great. I had the Lobster Bisque, and the Salmon. The bisque was delicious, and the salmon was cooked perfectly and was great. My wife had the Tournedos of Beef. It was outstanding. I tasted it, and I debate if I should have ordered that instead! Due to our anniversary they offered us a dessert on the house, and we both ordered Bananas Foster. While not prepared at our table as many are at other places it was very good! The wine list is broad, and the prices allow for a range of affordability. We ordered a Spanish wine from Rioja, Monopole which is a dry white (not red as many Rioja are) and it was excellent! We closed the evening out at their courtyard bar with an after dinner drink. It was a great experience. I recommend Lindey's for a special event or a nice evening out.
One of the best in Columbus. A lot of attention to detail and good service without that being watched feeling. We will go there anytime.
Lindey’s hosted our first date and our 29th anniversary. Thank goodness some wonderful Columbus landmarks remain. So many have passed away. This is a wonderful venue. A credit to its founders!
There is a reason that Lindey’s enjoys its fine reputation. It excels in all areas of dining experiences.
Food was amazing, our waiter was polite. The ambiance would've been better if we had not been seated in the middle of the room next to a rather large and loud birthday party gathering. We were so close to their table that every time anyone including a waiter walked past on that side their butt was pretty much in our faces. This was our anniversary and it would have been nice to have a more quiet side table. The food was great and the comped desert was a nice touch though.
Lindey's is of consistent quality related to menu items. I've never been disappointed in our meal when we've been here, which has been often. The patio has a wonderful ambiance and the interior is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The service is always prompt and professional. Parking in this location can be a bit of a challenge, so the valet service is great and convenient.
Beautiful place with a lovely menu! Extremely crowded in the patio but certainly the best place to sit on a day with good weather.
Amazing food as always. Good service. Main room is just too loud
First time to Columbus. Awesome food and dining experience.
Delicious food. Very cute area. Valet. Smaller sized portions but very good! After appetizer, bread, and meal I was full.
