Christmas Eve Dinner
New Year's Eve Dinner
What a lovely experience! The service was impeccable and the cadence of our meal was perfect. The food was delicious, and the serving size was large enough to take home leftovers.
Beautiful interior excellent service and delicious food. Difficult to park recommend valet. Would definitely go again
Our meal was delicious and our waitress was great
Enjoyed the experience.
Appetizers were great as was dinner and drinks. Waitress was exceptional. After dinner we sat at the bar for a couple after dinner drinks which were perfect. Bartender was awesome.
Always top shelf. Food and service. Bar area is avoided as it’s a tad hard to hear when eating. Back areas wonderful
I always love going to Lindey’s. It’s been a favorite for many years
Continues to be one of the best restaurants in C-Bus.
We had a good evening out. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food tasted great, but the portions were kind of small. The
We love Lindey’s for the great service, food and atmosphere. It is a convenient location. Valet parking takes the worry out of parking. The food is exceptional. I’ve never had a bad thing there. I had the chicken sausage hash and a ricotta pancake. Both were wonderful. Our waitress was very good and had helpful suggestions.
For that v special time, with special food, outstanding service and an incredible setting, choose Lindeys!
I eat at Lindey’s regularly (1x month on average) and usually have a great experience. We ate there last night and not so much. I’m not sure why, but our service was very slow and poor last night. So much so that I had to cut my steak with a butter knife as our waiter dropped by our table for 3 seconds maybe once every 10-15 minutes and always seemed in a rush.
Again, usually have good experiences but last night not so much.
Very good meal in a quaint, unique restaurant. Cute neighborhood too! Parking is difficult but valet is available
Lovely dinner on the patio.
Fried Shrimp/calamari was great but the huge size meant we were too full for an entree! Chopped salad just okay. (Chopped too small, not enough dressing.)Good brownie sundae. Desserts were all on the very traditional side, need something more exciting :)
We went to Lindey's because it is the gold standard in everything dining. However, this time a couple things were a bit disappointing. White zin was not on their wine list. Also, took a bit too long to receive the bread we requested. Otherwise, still a great place to dine.
Loved the patio. Great food & service. Entire family was happy with their meal and the outdoor patio was just lovely. Great brunch!
We made reservations a week in advance for a party of 3 adults at 11:45 AM on Sunday. The restaurant’s main dining room was nicely decorated with a pleasant atmosphere, but we were led to a table in a more simple back room and seated next to a party with an infant. (There we’re many unoccupied tables in the main room, both when we arrived and when we left). The food was pretty good, nothing memorable. The service, however, was extremely slow. We were promptly given menus and a glass of water and told our server would arrive shortly. We waited at least 10 minutes after we were seated before the waitress even came to our table. Then, when she did arrive to take our drink order, we told her we were ready to order (since we had more than enough time to look over the menu) and she made a comment about eating quickly to go out and enjoy the day, which to us, sounded a bit sarcastic. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food. The table next to us (party of 2) ordered about 5 minutes after us, got their food about 10 minutes later and were finished eating before our food had even arrived (they had a different waitress). My coffee was cold by the time my meal arrived. I ordered the eggs Benedict, which were fine. The wait and the waitress made our experience less than enjoyable. There are many, many good restaurants in Columbus. Next time we visit, we will try another.
Wonderful time. Returned to see family and 20 year OSU
reunion. Never disappointed at Lindey’s.😀
Food is delicious and service by Binta was excellent.
we went for saturday brunch. food was outstanding. service not so good.
she never checked back to see if things were going well. had to wave her
down while she was talking with the bartender for ketchup.
Overall the experience was very good, but our server had a bad attitude. It was our first year anniversary and although he knew it was an anniversary he never even asked about it or what we were celebrating. He took his time with our order, and had a kind of snarl when he spoke to us. The food was excellent but by the time our server got around to serving it our dinner had obviously been sitting under the warmer lamps for some time and the food was cold.
The rather small tip I left was in a way of letting him know how we felt about his poor service.
We came home to Columbus for the OSU homecoming game from South Carolina ...family of four adults. Reservations made far in advance and notified that it was a very special occasion. Often came here in the 80s and was my favorite. Was very disappointed . They sat us in the back room and when we asked to be placed elsewhere they gave us the table next to the kitchen...bad seat! We asked to be moved again because we couldn't hear each other speak and the back and forth traffic was insane. We finally got a good seat. Two of us had the lamb chops . They were overcooked, tasted as though they were prepared early afternoon then warmed up..not plated beautifully served with a nest on cooked limp veggies or potatoes and leeks maybe two tablespoons. The two other plates were steaks, and they were just okay..but big. Our salads were very good. Our desserts were good, but not wonderful. Brownie with icecream and flourless cake. We probably won't return..too many other good restaurants to try. And it was very expensive. Was very disappointed because I had told everyone that they were going to be very impressed with this place. We however had a wonderful weekend, and the Bucks won!!!! And Columbus was just so much fun to visit.
It was great.
Lindey’s has gone down quality over the years. My fish was under done. I asked for medium rare and got raw.
My husband slam was way too spicy and seasoned. Couldn’t taste the lamb.
Bread is always good but we don’t go to restaurant just for bread.
Very disappointing. Will only go back reluctantly.
First visit. Was not disappointed. Great service and food
Our waiter was outstanding antipated our needs. We had the tuna and my wife had the steak fillet she stated it was the best she had ever had. Very good food and outstanding service
My favorite restaurant for brunch in Columbus Ohio. Great food and ambiance. The lemon ricotta pancakes are delicious!
I brought my wife here for our anniversary. Excellent choice for that. Good steaks, and the asparagus was gone before anything else on my plate was touched! We will be back, and we will have wine!
Prim rib was overly seasoned, backed Mac and cheese was so over salted i could not finish. Service was top notch and the environment was upscale and niece.
Sit outside if you have the opportunity -- it's gorgeous and feels like it's own secret hideaway!
Just okay... have had better food and dining experience. My food was undercooked! Risotto was hard.
I have been enjoying Lindey’s for many years. You can always count on a good experience of good food and good service. I enjoy the patio as well as any of the inside rooms. The atmosphere in any of the rooms is equally pleasing!
I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.
this was a 10 year reuninon of old friends and we all commented on how noisy it was and hard to carry on a conversation..the food was good.
Lindey's is always a great dining experience. The menu is varied enough to suit our appetite for whatever we crave that day. Service is excellent, and the atmosphere is somewhat sophisticated with a fun edge. That is why we eat there every time we are in Columbus.
Thought it was an excellent experience and would highly recommend to anyone.
As always, great food, drinks, and service.
We’ve been to Lindey’s dozens of times since moving to the area. Anytime someone comes to visit we bring them, we’ve also celebrated birthdays here and they have been wonderful. However this last visit we brought my mother & father in law for her birthday, it was a Monday and I indicated it was her birthday on the reservation. We were sat almost in the bar area, it was very loud, my in laws could not hear anything the waitress said, nor the majority of the conversation we were having. We normally are sat in the dining room area, so it’s a little quieter. They did not wish my mother in law a happy birthday even though they confirmed in on the reservation. We felt rushed, and it just wasn’t the special experience I wanted her to have after coming all the way from dc to celebrate with her day with us. Food was good as always, but it just wasn’t the same quality event I was looking for.
We were from out of town and looking to have a special meal with family and this place was amazing! Very elegant and chic, yet they catered to our young granddaughters as though they were royalty. Food was top notch from the steaks to the seafood. Entire staff was attentive and there to please. The next time I'm in Columbus this will be a must stop for business meetings, family gatherings or just a dinner with my wife. What a gem.
My family and I had Sunday brunch on the outdoor patio at Lindey's. It was fabulous. The patio is beautiful - really one of the prettiest patio's I've ever seen. Lots of trees, a koi pond, different levels with black wrought iron and brick everywhere - it felt like New Orleans in Columbus Ohio ! The food was amazing - a great variety on the brunch menu. Lunch and breakfast options and a full bar available. The service was excellent. I really can't say enough good things about our dining experience and will definitely recommend Lindey's to all my friends, and when I am in Columbus again, I will be dining at Lindey's for sure !
