Christmas Eve Dinner
New Year's Eve Dinner
Food was excellent...the bar person was a little uppity until we loosened her up, then she got into the swing of things. Our service was really fast...almost to fast. Nice location in German Village. Free Valet parking.
Too warm outside, so we were grateful to be seated inside...but they sat us in a table right next to the main doors to the patio, which opened constantly with a stream of people...and the table was looking straight at the hidden kitchen doors. Felt like an afterthought location ("I bet we can cram one more table in"). Literally any other table and you'd be fine. The hostess also sat 4 straight 5 people+ groups in our waiter's section so the poor guy got slammed. He handled it well though.
Always a wonderful experience at Lindeys. Our go to for date night. Great staff, wonderful food and beautiful atmosphere.
Lindeys is always so classy and exceptional.
I love food, and you guys had food I love. If food was good, you guys would have it. Keep up the good work fellas. I’ll be back soon
This is our second visit to Lindey’s for lunch in the past few weeks. First of all, kudos to Frank for friendly, efficient and lovely service. The food is absolutely fabulous. I had a wonderful green salad with shrimp and a delicious pear / thyme vinagarette dressing and my husband had the daily risotto with seafood. The key lime pie and the hot fudge brownie were a perfect ending to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Can’t wait for a return visit next month on my birthday!
Consistently one of the best restaurants in Columbus. I indulged in a cup of the to-die-for lobster bisque. Though I'm not a big meat eater, I had the steak frites, which was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. The post-mortem for dessert was rich and decadent and the perfect end to a perfect meal.
We dined for my wife’s birthday. Lindsey’s has been one of her favorite restaurants. She ordered the Australian Sea Bass. It looked great but was over cooked outside and slimy and black inside. Waiter was great and removed from check. We have dined many times at Linsey’s in the past and this was our first bad meal. Wine and cocktails were excellent as was the dessert.
Chopped Salad and Pasta Rigatati was excellent.
Fantastic as always! We sat outside at the bar which is quaint and classy. We then decided to move inside and sit at the inside bar and have appetizers. Great menu and awesome drinks. Cheers to the great bartender - he makes a great French Martini.
We went to Lindey's to celebrate my college graduation. The food was prepared deliciously, although I think the menu could use a few plain-er options, especially pasta options as some parties have guests without cultured tastebuds. The service was excellent, our server was very attentive and kept our table well-bussed and very clean. The Frose cocktail was delicious. I was very pleased with my experience at Lindey's and would highly recommend for fine dining and special occasions.
I done at Lindey’s often, which is consistently excellent. Tonight’s meal, however, was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We started with a divine French Chardonnay that was absolutely awesome! We ordered the scallops special, which was just mouth watering, and the Australian Sea Bass with Swiss chard and crispy risotto cake, which was maybe one of the best dishes I’ve ever had- EVER. I dine out four to five times a week at Columbus’ finest restaurants, and Lindey’s is my number one favorite place. I do hope, however, they bring their mussels back because they’re the best mussels I’ve ever had!!!
Great place. I've been there many times, and the food is consistently delicious. Lovely atmosphere.
I do not understand why my reservation did not qualify for Open Table points, however. That was disappointing.
Beautiful decor but not too pretentious, friendly and knowledgeable staff who knew the menu and how to recommend a dish... this is not always easy!!
Attentive but not to the point of irritation, so all in all a great venue... go for it!!
A wonderful brunch for my mother in law’s 82nd birthday
Usually we have an amazing experience dining at Lindey's. When we walked in we were places in the corner looking at the kitchen. It was very noisy and WAY too much traffic. We asked to move and were sat right at the entrance. The food was still great but it would have been better to get seated at a decent table and they were already out of the nightly special by 8:30.
A lovely restaurant with a variety of delicious menu options made better by excellent service! Always a wonderful choice!
Had a wonderful evening and meal for our 30th wedding anniversary! Great job Dustin.
We always have a wonderful experience every time we visit Lindey’s! Such a charming restaurant with wonderful staff and delicious food!
Started with smoked salmon on toast, toast could have been crispier, and the calamari and shrimp were delicious. Ordered filets and a side of spaghetti rigate which was tasty and a decent portion not too big not too small. The filets were a bit over cooked for medium rare but it was fine.
The best restaurant in Columbus!!
While the food was good and the ambiance was great, the service was lacking. We were chasing drinks the whole meal and didn't get the bottle of wine we ordered for the meal until dessert. Even when we requested that our server stop by to the food runners, it would be another 10 mins until she actually showed. Disappointing as we've had good experiences here in the past.
Always outstanding food served with elegance. The best in Columbus! Thank you!!!
Food was great as usual and the patio area was so beautiful. They provide complementary valet service, which is very helpful especially at The german village.
Great dinner with business guests
Our group appreciated the elegant atmosphere, the conscientious service, and the delicious food. We also appreciated the fact that the staff was happy to let us stay and talk long after our meal was finished, since the restaurant is large enough to accommodate many diners.
Lindey's patio is a stunning setting to celebrate a special birthday or just gather with family and friends! The food and service are absolutely top notch.
Been going here since 1981 and it has always been superb. Food and service were outstanding. Jack did an awesome job as our server.
Really nice evening with a surprise group of friends for a special birthday! Always great food and time.
Wonderful ambience, nice atmosphere and great food. Staff were very attentive. Fantastic location and perfect place for Sunday brunch.
I have been dining at Lindeys since the 1980’s. This is the first time the food was utterly disappointing. I was there for brunch on Sunday and had the worst French toast I have ever eaten.
We went on Restaurant Week and got the last rsvp slot of the day. Apparently they were in a hurry to close and the whole meal felt rushed. Nice servers, excellent food but not a great experience when you are rushed to eat food you are paying for...
Always a pleasure! Steak is always perfect, service is friendly and the patio dining is worth the wait!
Restaurant Week menu was delicious. Best of all the restaurants we tried this week.
Absolutely the best garden in town and the best outdoor bar to wait for a table!!!!
I went for Restaurant Week for my first visit. The food was amazing and our server Mitch was super nice, attentive, and welcoming. I will be going back to try other options on the menu.
Amazing night to sit outside. Their restaurant week offer is the best deal ever! My only complaint is you should never put coconut flakes on tiramisu! SMH
Lindey’s never dissapoints! Although it’s a far drive for us, it’s worth the drive. This time we went for restaurant week for the first time and it was delicious! We had the mussels and carpaccio for appetizer, scallops and filet for the main course, and the s’mores pie and tiramisu for dessert. For drinks we got the golden rush and watermelon mule. Everything was delicious :)
I’ve had many great experiences at Lindey’s but this time, unfortunately, was not the best experience. After being seated, it took over 20 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. The servers were “confused” about who had our table. There was also an issue with our food. They brought out the wrong dinner, not the correct type fish that was ordered. It took another 10-15 minutes to bring out the correct dish. The only thing the server did to try to make up for both huge mistakes was to offer a free dessert, which we declined. I was very surprised that at minimum our drinks could have been free or the incorrect fish should have been free. Given my many previous great experiences at Lindey’s, I will give them another chance!
We went for restaurant week, and the menu was delicious!
