Lindey's is a high-energy, white tablecloth restaurant serving the finest American cuisine in an upper east side New York bistro setting. Nestled in historic German Village, the design incorporates original artwork, bentwood chairs, copper topped bars and hardwood floors. With its exciting and vibrant atmosphere, Lindey's has three main dining rooms, four private party rooms and an award winning outdoor courtyard that has been voted the best patio in Columbus.
From the moment we walked in...we knew this was going to be a great meal! It opened at 11am and we got there at 11:15. The place was already crowded and as we ate our delicious meal...people continued to be seated. The food was delicious...especially the French toast! Coffee was dive as was the Bloody Mary. We loved the ambiance and the quiet professionalism of our waiter. A fab place for brunch!
First time in Columbus and didn’t expect such an epicurean delight.
You can almost always count on an excellent meal at Lyndey's. Unfortunately this meal was not up to Lyndey's standards. A bit disappointing. Burger ordered medium. Came out well done and charred on one side. How does that happen at a restaurant of Lyndey's caliber?
We were headed to the Southern Theatre-had the Sea Bass and the Burger. Very friendly waiter and attentive staff. The chopped salad was nice - However the Sea Bass was simply not special and without flavor - overcooked and dry. Similarly the burger was beautiful to look at, but for being medium rare it had little flavor. - not sure how it did that with so much red meat showing. While we were in no rush, the food took long time to reach us after we finished our salads and some really great bread and crackers. Unfortunately, with other interesting places around , it will be awhile before we go back - unless it is just Happy Hour at the bar - I do love the ambiance.
Food was great. I had the scallops which were amazing. Environment was great. Staff oils have been a bit more attentive once we got to the table. Bar service was excellent with a wide range of spirits. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone stopping in the Columbus are for a nice date night meal and drinks.
Divine! Our evening was outstanding. The food, service and ambience were lovely. Just what you would hope for.
Outstanding! Lisa was the best server we’ve ever had!
Our lunch was delightful. Our wait person was very fun and friendly.
Great brunch! Wonderful atmosphere and service.
We usually love coming to Lindey’s for their charming location and amazing food and service. The charming location and food were always great but their service has changed. We got there a bit early for our reservation (which was right when they opened for a Sunday brunch) and the host was just annoyed that I asked him (at 10 till 11am) if they opened at 11am... he just sort of smiled and nodded yes. Ok fine. We moved away from his way and stood by the bar.
Another couple that was already at the bar got seated about 2 minutes after my question.
Assuming it was ok to be seated now, I went up again with a different hostess and she sat us right away (all before 11am)
Outstanding as always. We both got the beef tornadoes and both were great!
Food tasted great, service was amazing. Will took care of us. A little louder than I thought it would be but I didn't know what to expect. Thumbs up
We always try to eat at Lindey's when we are in the Columbus area and pretty much order the same things...a cup of lobster bisque (excellent!), rack of lamb for my husband and Tournados with Bearnaise sauce for me. Key Lime Pie or flourless chocolate cake for dessert. We both found that the meats were prepared correctly but both meats were quite salty. We don't use a lot of salt at home so maybe this was why they tasted so salty to us. Otherwise, the meals and desserts were delicious but we may try to order different entrees the next time we visit Lindey's.
We were seated at the last table by kitchen door - too much traffic!!
Nathan was an excellent server and Mike is a hands on deck manager! The food was top notch. Our table had calamari, tuna tartar, and lobster bisque... All amazing. Did I mention our main meals? Delicious. Definitely recommend.
Food is always so delicious! Service is always great
Diana is amazing as usual!! Love the service here always. We had a great time.
As always, Lindey’s is one of our favorite places in Columbus! The staff, the food, and the ambience make it a spectacular experience every single time we go.
Perfect for a slow paced upscale meal with my bestie. Best french onion soup and perfectly cooked steak I've ever had.
Once a year we celebrate "Girl's Day" with my granddaughters by first enjoying brunch at Lindey's, followed by Mani-Pedis. As usual, Lindey's staff made it a wonderfully memorable day ...The girls even save their menu's from each year! A great tradition!
Love the menu; love the location. We will keep coming back:-)
As always, the food at Lindey's was delicious. Service was good, mostly attentive, but not super friendly. The restaurant was crowded and loud on a rainy Saturday night. Overall, very good as always.
We have been to Lindey’s many times before. Food is always decent but our service this last time was awful. We told the server that we were in a bit of a hurry-going to hockey game after and it literally took her 25 minutes from the time we ordered coffee and dessert to bring out the coffee! We just wanted to go at that point but she still charged us for it! I couldn’t believe it-we usually go to Jeff Ruby’s or a cameron mitchell restaurant before a hockey game and have never had to rush out-we ordered right away and it just took forever-entirely the servers fault-she belongs at a bob evans not fine dining.
Love the restaurant. Been eating here for 30 years. The food quality is always very good, the staff always does a good job, and love the charm of the place. The only disappointing thing was they changed the mussel dish. That was a classic and one of the things we always looked forward to when eating there.
I assumed the food would be better for the price. I wouldn’t go back.
We had a wonderful experience! Our server James and valet Vince could not have been more helpful!
Absolutely wonderful. First time dining and it was all I had heard about and expected. Will definitely be returning soon!!!
Celebrating two birthdays. Very relaxing and enjoyable
Loved German Village and this restaurant. So glad a friend recommended. Food was very good - loved the side salad
Martini could have been better.
Your one of my Columbus favorites. Love the food, staff, and ease of making a reservation. The happy hour was amazing. I had the Farfalle with duck for dinner and I think I'm still dreaming about it. It was both tasy and plentiful when it cam to the amount of duck. I'll be back when the weather gets warmer to sit outside in the courtyard.
Very good. Chopped salad was a very small portion for price but it did taste wonderful! Thank you!
Always a great time at Lindey’s. Service and food are always above expectations. There is so much history in that building, you can feel the buzz.
Lindey's continues to be the best restaurant in Columbus. Dining at its finest. Our meal was well prepared, well presented, well timed...Perfect! Dustin was our server. He was top notch. Professional, pleasant, well versed about the menu, and super knowledgeable about the tremendous wine selection. Looking forward to returning for our next special meal! Thanks to Dustin and Lindey's.
Lindey’s is a must in the Columbus area. I always recommend it to my friends and family. Especially in warmer weather so they can experience the patio.
I used to love this place but it is going down hill. Service was inattentive and my steak was cold. I have never had an issue w Lindey’s until recently. So sad.
Food Was beyond Great!
Service was excellant
parking was easy
love he place
As usual, a great experience!
The food was great as always, bar service was great. Waited for our table reservation for much longer than expected and our waiter took a long time to make it to our table. Otherwise everything was great!
